Why is it so much more fun watching Clare play horror games than playing them myself or watching any other RU-vidrs? Gotta be the stark contrast in her aesthetic, right?
For me, I think it's because she can both take the game seriously, but also know when to make jokes (and also the fact that I would be too scared to play it myself). It's super entertaining to watch!

In her defense, Emma's set clear boundaries with Jacob from the beginning. He's the one trying to cross them. Not saying its a good idea to kiss someone else in front of him, but still.
she wasn't wrong to kiss someone else infront of him, either, because they aren't dating. they're not together and he's in the wrong for getting mad even tho it's her right because she is single. the issue I have with her is the way she kissed the person SHE KNEW her friend liked.
She's entitled to her own feeling of course but it crosses the lines when she starts manipulating others , it's cruel of her to blow him off and string him along over and over , it's also cruel of her to mess with her best friends heart . Her ' boundaries ' are as clear as muddy water , she sets them then breaks them herself no wonder he's confused , no wonder *everyone* is confused
Don't agree completely that one. She's been clear the whole time with him. She thinks he's pretty sweet, but she's only down for some summer fun. Her flirting with him doesn't make things muddy, since she keeps telling him this is just summer fun. She shouldn't have toyed with Abi's feelings. Her explanation for that is teen bullshit. Over all most of the things they say and do is teen bullshit, which is what makes the game. But she's not responsible for his disappointment when he wants more and she doesn't.

When the fake knocking happened I had my earbuds in and thought someone was banging on my window or door. So I paused and went to check outside for some one. That was so realistic.
Its actually annoying when they make the characters in the game be so stupid just to get the storyline going :/ takes me out of it with some decisions. Having so much fun watching Clare playing tho

My prediction so far is that the hunters act as similar characters to the flamethrower guy from until dawn, they’re meant to seem ominous at first but end up helping you, providing you with useful info about the monster, perhaps dying when you need them most I could be wrong, having not seen a play through of this game yet but this is just my initial guess lol I also think the hermit represents Laura, seeing as she was stuck in that room after being captured and was isolated but had time to reflect and adapt.
spoiler: the tarot card says pick wisely between fight or flight, and emily’s trying to pick flight by jumping on to the zip line instead of fighting the monster…. I really hope she notices that before the decision
Girl I love you, but I can't with you simping over Jacob and hating Emma when he LITERALLY is the catalyst for this whole game by destroying the car engine. He has everyones blood on this hands. Him and Ryan are the worst characters as cheeky as Emma can be.
Really? Jacob is one of the best imo, It's annoying when people judge Jacob so much for that, the poor guy is naive and is def getting hella gaslit and manipulated by Emma, and by the end of the game if Emma is in the lodge by the end and Jacob is out and alive, he cries to himself about how this is all his fault and he just wanted one night for everyone to get closer, so even then it wasn't entirely about him and Emma it was something he somewhat did for everyone, he never could have known this and he 10000% has absolute trauma by the end out of everyone I'd bet.
Clare, I’ve been absolutely loving this play through. I keep missing your streams bc I’ve been sleeping in but hopefully I catch the next one. I think you’re doing great so far! I loved camp but it is weird that you just send your kids into the woods with grown strangers and they aren't allowed to have their phones to easily contact anyone. I always hated that. Don't remove my safety net like that and not get me a choice because we were kids.
I really don't like Emma and don't understand why anyone would either. And before you attack me it's not because she doesn't like Jacob, it's because she keeps playing mind games and manipulating the people around her for her own enjoyment and then she doesn't take accountability for it

Early in the video when your talking about tarot cards, my mum is a little bit into tarot and has a few decks, recently we were out and went into this little crystal hippie shop and were looking around. And I found a tarot deck, they all have names and the one I found was my name! Jade Sky (except my name is spelled with an E on the end of skye) but still! It was such a cool find! Just wanted to share that

Emma kissed Nick because Jake is her mean ex. Emma felt bad when Abi ran away because she knows Abi has a crush on Nick. Also when people get attacked they just get bitten by a werewolf.
Okay no one’s gonna see this but I gotta scream into the void my defence of Emma; she clearly did not want any feelings attached to her summer fling with Jacob and very evidently made that clear to him. While that doesn’t invalidate Jacob’s feelings after he got attached, it isn’t her fault she stuck to what she said she would. She was completely honest and there’s nothing wrong with a woman exploring her sexuality with no feelings with a partner who supposedly understands that. She is definitely mean (especially to Abi) but I would argue it doesn’t come from a negative place, with her kissing Nick I personally think it was because she didn’t want to kiss Jacob and give him any semblance of false help, and bc in her own (very stupid) way she thought she may be helping Abi kick Nick into gear. Or alternatively she kissed Nick to put Abi off from him bc she secretly loves Abi, if you want my little shipper brain opinion hehe
