Watched two full play throughs of this game recently, but I’m excited to watch a third if Clare is playing! 😀

I've watched 3 streamers play this game in preparation for you playing. Remember to always walk around and EXPLORE EVERYRHING. Also, when it comes to the monsters, ALWAYS TAKE THE SHOT NO HESITATION.

Summer camps are weird to me, for a few reasons: 1) Kids can be sent to them whether they would like to go or not, and can be kept there (after arriving) even if they'd like to leave. 2) Campers are often pressured to engage in all of the day's scheduled activities, regardless of whether they would like to engage in them or not. 3) There is a huge social focus, and the majority of the activities scheduled are social. Sometimes, solo activities are offered, but keeping to oneself too much does not always go unnoticed by counselors. But what makes these reasons so weird is that summer camp is considered to be leisurely and 'for fun.' There are even purposes/rewards attached to school and employment. But the holistic 'rewards' offered by summer camp (meeting new people, going out in nature, etc.) are flimsy in the absence of a leisurely experience.

When I was in camp, we read diary of a wimpy kid and all the kids went out into the woods to try and find Silas Scratch, and we all got in huge trouble 😂 did anyone think it was Clare screaming at 21:44 😭

i’m watching this immediately after returning from camp with all my best friends. I had an amazing time this session and could have stayed all summer, but it was probably easier for me because we’re all in high school and drama is more common for younger campers. Everyone i know including myself hated camp on their first year, but as i aged i became less and less homesick, and this year i didn’t want to come home at all!

Literally my favorite past time is watching you play these games 😍 I agree it’s like a movie lol, I recommend beyond two souls!

Clare, after you finish The Quarry, can you please check out a game called Tell Me Why? It came out 2 years ago and is made by Dontnod, the same people who make Life is Strange. I don't know much about the game (I've never actually played the game or watched a playthrough of it. I only know about it because I saw a clip of it on TikTok last night), but I do know that one of the main character is a trans man, and that the game was apparently free for the month of Pride. I thought you'd be the perfect one to see play it since you loved the Life is Strange series so much! Here's a quick summary (no spoilers) from the game's FAQ page: Tell Me Why is the story of two twins, Alyson and Tyler Ronan, who reunite for the first time in ten years after their mother’s death. Upon returning to their childhood home in rural Alaska, the Ronans realize that their shared past may not be as they remember it.

Re-watching this stream (seen it before) and actually just finished watching a playthrough done by the cast of the game, which was cool! It was interesting hearing their experiences behind the scenes etc of making the game and in one of the streams they had a Ted Raimi cameo! (The cop at the start of the game is played by Ted) And at the part where he's showing the place on the map and he licks the pencil, I wanted to share with ya'll what that's about for anyone who doesn't know. Ted talked about that moment and explained it. Apparently back in the day, old pencils weren't made the same as they are now and the graphite used to get dry and not work properly, and so you would have to wet it to "activate" it and make it work, and so people would lick the tip of the pencil first, and that's why he does it. I thought that was interesting and a little fun fact! If anyone wants to watch the cast playthrough it was pretty cool, they didn't have every single cast member it was only 4 of them and one episode had Ted joined for about half the stream BUT I will warn ya'll they never finished the game together so it's been left and not continued, so if you haven't seen all of Clare's playthrough, watch it first. Cast playthrough you can find search "Computer time with miles" on youtube and it will come up :) It featured Miles who plays Dylan, Siobhan who plays Laura (the girl from the start), Zack who plays Jacob the jock guy and Justice who plays Ryan the moody counsellor dude. There's alot of banter between them and it's pretty funny but I'll warn ya'll it's not as "family friendly" as Clare's streams and there's a bit more swearing and such, but you should all watch the streams because they're really funny

I enjoyed the camp I went to. It was through a church, but I think we still had to pay something. I don't think I missed home too much. Which is weird for me. Because a few years later, I was gone for a week and when I saw my mom again I burst into tears 😅 My singular camp experience I had was enjoyable. I always wished to go to another - but I stopped asking for things quite soon after.
