I have the 1794, Bought myself some custom seat covers from an outfit out of Hawaii. Their covers are made of wet suit material. They are great and save my seats for a couple of years of wear. Go get yourseld a Bilstein 6112 lift and call it a day.
I just watched your "Why a 5 foot bed is a terrible idea" video and thought for sure you would buy a truck with a bigger bed for camping, lol. Looking forward to seeing if you mod it or trade it in on a TRD Pro. By the way, your camera work and sense of humor make for entertaining videos!!
I went from a 2008 Toyota Tundra to a 2022 Tacoma off road. I miss the V8 but the Tundra is just way too big for daily driving. Navigating narrow parking lots was always a headache. Going into parking garages was also a headache. I had to be very picky with parking spots. I was getting like 12 mpg. I did love how big the interior was but at the cost of the truck being so bulky. I do prefer small trucks. The Tacoma is a superior daily driver for me. I am anxiously waiting for Toyotas "Maverick" version. I hope small trucks make comeback!!
I have a 2021 Tundra TRD Pro double cab and yes you should have bought the TRD Pro. The Fox Shox suspension is absolutely incredible and after test driving the Ram Rebel, the Trail Boss, the AT4, and the Tremor all in 2021, none of them came close to the comfort and dexterity that the TRD tuned Fox Shox provided. It rides better than my car does. With that said, when your current suspension wears out you can have Toyota install the fox shox instead. I would do it.
You are right. I appreciate the comment! I am happy, don’t even wanna drive the truck cause of how lucky I feel to own it and don’t wanna but miles on it! This will be my forever truck! 😎
Fantastic video! Well, is either grow on you or maybe you will start looking for a TRD Pro Tundra. Honestly leather seats are okay I can live without them. You have the top of the line, but it does not say TRD Pro it might be a drawback. I think once you begin modding it a little bit you will make it look like you want to. Good luck, I believe is top of the line regardless of the no badge on it.
OK brother Aing, you got the old man rolling couch truck out of your system. Good, been there done it. Now trade it for a fun truck that looks and drives like a truck. I'm old and I drive a basic 2022 TRD Sport access cab with a manual, and it's fun as hell! Life is too short to drive boring, take care!
It's a bummer that you aren't totally in love anymore. I agree about the seats - leather just isn't for me. It's still an amazing truck though. Maybe you will get the chance to trade fro a Pro at some point.
Imo the Tundra looks like a Grandpa truck along with the saddle brown interior? I personally hate brown or light interior. With that being said once you lift it and get 35" tires it'll look 🔥 Also deleting the Chrome. I'm still keeping my 2019 Tacoma Trdpro
@@OfficialAingI have a 2015 tundra limited trd offroad. I wish I got the trd pro. But I have put 6112 shocks and I fit 35 inch tires with the stock trd offroad wheels and it looks so nice I also deleted the chrome and it’s so much nicer now and I think the 6112 front coilovers and the rear 5160 shocks make it ride better on road then the trd pro forsure and a lot of other people think so as well
I have a 2021 tundra TRD pro, and it have less features then the 1794 tundra. I don’t have and sensors, no puddles light, I do have JBL, and the Fox shocks. And the pro have a 2 inch lift above the other model. An and I love my TRD exhaust system. An you guys DO NOT WANT a Pro. The sound of the exhaust system will let you push your truck harder and faster and you’ll will feel it at the pump.
do it...trd pro.😂😂😂 YOLO be happy....I went from a 22 sr5 tacoma automatic /metallic grey to a 22 off-road manual transmission/ metallic grey 🤣. no one is going to know 😊👍--- VIVA Manual Transmission----
That's actually so cool! I was considering it but I am happy with It and with always working I barely use it lol Im gonna have fun with the build and in the future we will see a pro 😎
