If you guys want to send me anything you can do so here :) Chris Rudnik P.O. Box 212294, Royal Palm Beach Fl, 33421 JOIN THE PATREON!! / rudnik Wanna follow me? @RicerMiata
First of all, the cables d00d... Also the actual cables might be fucked, they look kinda stale. Second of all, it is a manual transmission, push-start it...
I would get the body straight, then shave the tailgate (Keep the tonneau cover) latch, door handles and emblems. I had a 98 Sonoma longbed with a small block swap and air ride. I shaved all my handles, it looked fire.
@@ihatecops. I'm probably at least 15 years older than you, it was most definitely a popular style back in the day. Hell, I even had MK2 GTI with shaved handles. Oh, and Tommy should have no say on shaved handles. You must not know the history of Tommy's original 240 from when he lived in Cali. He shaved the mirrors and wipers, and decided to try and drive it across country back to CT, and crashed it 3 times on the way. Then scammed a guy in Canada for the SR20 that was in it, lmao.
Bad thing is Colorado paint is single layer deep, rock chips that normally go to primer go straight metal. On mine the rock chips on the hood from being lowered rusted in 2days.
@@treefiddyzz3381So Will was trying to charge the "alternator" for 10 minutes revving... If you want it to work jumpers go to the original battery cause be that's what your trying to charge. If you put jumpers from a smaller engine to a bigger engine like rodnock here and it doesn't start first click your wasting time by not efficiently charging the battery.
Looks like he used the battery ground and the positive coming off the alternator which explains why it ddnt wanna start stock alternator wire on that engine is only like 8ga
@@mustangsflo nah even 8 gauge would take a 300 to 400 amp burst, it atleast has to handle 100+ amps continously, that's like a 3 foot run. you'd have to send soo much current through that wire instantly, to get it to "melt" quickly. it's easy to tell what was the issue, the jumper cables were getting hot, obviously means the truck was drawing a good more amount of current then the cables were originally rated for, exact reason you don't skimp when buying jumper cables.
He made a shit, high resistance connection on the terminals... He even said how hot they were.. lol just proof of a poor connection.. no wonder it wouldn't start.🤣🤣
@@sillycripple435 I don’t think he killed someone, if I recall it was something along the lines of drunk driving, public intoxication, property damage etc.. hence the reason he isn’t allowed to drive...
I knew that beep was gonna fuck with will. When youre exposed to beeping for that long you always hear the shit when youre about to go to sleep or when its quiet. Hopefully theyre not RPF1s lool
@@calebatwood7659 actually you’re probably right since he brought the blueberry and red trailer to CT. Wouldn’t be surprised if he moved into Tommy’s shop and Tom got a new shop
Hey chris, u know what makes having a manual transmission cool? When ur battery is dead u can still pop start it 😉 u work on cars everyday. How do u not know this?
@@Gobbbbb you keep bringing up how he buys a new battery on multiple comments. What’s he gonna do, bump start the truck every single day lol?? No matter how ghetto he has it set up. The truck needs a fuckin battery lol
Ubolts are 1 time use due to them stretching when tightening. I used to be a blacksmith and that was one of the number 1 thing we made u bolts. Also fyi if this is a tow rig isn't the tongue of the trailer gonna be dragging on ground now?
Yo Ruddy, the spring is the shock absorber (It's what absorbs the shocks...). The 'Strut' is not the shock absorber, but the damper. It dampens the movement of the shock absorbers (The spring).
DJM makes front control arms that drops the front more too, we had to run them on our old GMC Canyon when we were running the bilstein coilovers and drop blocks on the rears to get an even equal height! I would look into those ruddy!
I got heavy duty (1900lb) leaf springs for my truck with decent shocks, it raised the back 2” but i have no problems with it driving like a boat (also updated blown front struts to the ‘performance package’ oe ones) Just drives like a 6000lb car except the back hops off certain bumps lol (05 F150 Crew)
@Alastair Dow lmao hard for me to believe also . I daily a 08 tbss with 249k 3 rebuild . Third finally being a Texas speed rotating assembly put together in house at my house/shop /work . I’ll get a vid uploaded tomorrow . Also 4l80 swapped manual shift 💪🏼 @dreaded_7 insta
I really think you should ask Tommy nicely for his PDR dent remover guys phone number and have him do a quick job on that colorado. A lot of those small dents will come out with a hammer and Dolly set that he uses and it won't be too expensive. You'll thank yourself in the long run as the factory paint quality is Miles ahead of a maaco respray job.
What kind of half assed jumper cable setup you got going on there? You hook the positive cable to the positive on the battery but the negative to the engine block so it can get a clear path of power avoiding the battery straight to the starter motor
I’m pretty sure shaking with your right hand dates back to the days of sword carrying. Most people being right handed their sword would be on their left side and pulled out with their right. Shaking hands with your right hand showed trust and let the other person know you weren’t a threat. I think it just carried on from then.
Chris take the helper spring out it'll definitely drop it at least another inch when I was growing up I had a bunch of mini trucks and it will definitely make it look a lot better
Is your power steering overheating? Colorado's have a steering box or rack and pinion? Steering box would definitely need some extra cooling just based on how they are designed.
Back in the iron ages when soldiers wore armor it was a sign of respect to disarm your strong hand (usually right hand) and raises their helmet visor exposing them. Rastafarians greet by fist bumping the left hand as respect.
Exactly this. People think that the spring sets the height 100%, but the shocks definitely play a minor role. Shouldn't have gotten lazy about the swapping the rear shocks.
ruddy buddy, roll start it if it does that again. and shoutout to josh for knowing his shit with trucks forreal! not many people know about aligning the rear end.
