Well, that sounds reasonable. It is my first bike and I am a beginner that is having the first experiences on his own bike right now, but although I still love the bike, I can feel the missing power on the country roads or highways... Got rid of it in november 2022. Got it in june 2021. Reason: Got me stranded twice due to cheap relays. The instrument panel was fogging up too often. Power/weight ratio wasn't balanced. Overall not a bad experienced, but I prefered the more power on the X-Cape Morini. The Morini has been reliable since november 2022 and a better experience overall.

Wow. Sorry to hear that you got stranded because of the relay issues ☹️ But yeah, I also discovered myself that the Himalayan has some limitations and I felt the need to share them.

Have you ever lifted a heavy motorcycle off-road more than once ? Or even better ... Did you ever ride your motorcycle off-road ?... I really think not ... You don't have the slightest clue what you are talking about.

@@ONE.LIFE.ADVENTURE I was there, you weren't, like i said i am fit but the last time was hard, at 40c your energy goes real fast. I was on the bike for 15 hours that day in a place i should not have been, wife was going mental, journey should only have been about 8 hours but that off road track looked good, until it wasnt.

I hope your situation gets better. I bought a 2018 himalayan now 5 years ago and i to was going to sell it but resale value is low and replacements are expensive. So i bought a nmw racing performance kit,only $700 includes cam amd big bore kit it's transformed the bike , it's a Indian company but kit is top quality.

The top speed of the Himalayan is posted on their website and well known. It's not the bike fault, you picked the wrong bike for your type of riding. The bulk of Himalayan riders are in countries that have low speed limits, 70 km/h and don't allow motorcycles on expressways, etc. In the USA the rural road speed limit is 55 MPH or 88 km which meets the bikes performance envelope of 94 mph or 150 Km/h .

The maximum top speed that I achieved with my Himalayan was 115 Kph on the GPS... which is not even close to what you are saying... also the 0 to 100 Kph time is over 17 second's which is very slow ... but don't get me wrong ... I'm not trashing the bike... and if you really watched the video and you really listened you heard that I still think this is a good motorcycle but not for me ... I knew the Himalayan is not a speed demon and that's why this was only my last reason for selling the bike ... not the first .... anyway... like I said in the video... this is a good motorcycle for the money and for beginners.

Just about to do what you did last year on the Himalayan lets see what I think next year. I'll be back! Look at CF moto, Kove, Rieju. P.s overtaking uphill on a Himmy not even gonna think about it.

Hmmm m-ai pus pe ganduri cu problema legata de putere. Ma tot bate gandul la un classic 350 dar imi e frica de lipsa de putere. Legat de video, come back stronger, sigur se gasesc alternative, inclusiv SH. Noul Himalayan e posibil sa iti satisfaca din nemultumiri.

Salut. Mersi de mesaj. Lipsa de putere se simte constant la drum lung și uneori chiar și în oraș, mai ales când vrei să te bagi într-un sens giratoriu sau să depășești pe un bulevard. M-am uitat și la noul Himalayan 450 dar momentan mai am de așteptat... ceea ce este bine pentru că am mai mult timp la dispoziție ca să reflectez la următoarea mea motocicletă.

Mersi ✌️😀 Legat de sunete, în afară de cauciucurile de off-road care fac zgomot pe asfalt pentru că au cu crampoane foarte mari ... eu nu am avut probleme tehnice de nici un fel. Dar nici nu am trecut măcar de 10000 de km parcurși cu motocicleta.
