I was an underground gold miner for 43 years up in Timmins Ontario Canada where they are still mining gold. My second last year I was 'mucking' out a stope with a 2 yard diesel ' camera-remote controlled' scoop tram (low profile underground frontend loader), And every bucket was Yellow with highgrade gold! In 43 years that was the most gold that I ever saw, and that mine, Hoyle Pond mine is still at it as we speak.

@@davidregan9872 me too, till that time, but at the first mine that I worked at they had locked stopes (a stope is where the actual mining takes place) where the miners were ' locked in ' for their shift and guarded to prevent highgrading as they were that rich, the Dome Mine.

If you are ever interested in camping in Northern California I’d suggest 2-3 days at the Bear River Campground. The giant gravel bar produces 2-6 grams of placer fly poop a day. I’d average about 2-3 grams every four hours. It replenishes every flood season.

Separately, your trip to the damaged areas that you wish to transit to are added to my prayers. It’s my hope at some point we all can pray to refill the necessary reservoirs for Los Angeles, California can and will happen. This coming year will be a basic installment. Awesome. Your bucket was definitely worth it! At a GPAA gold show I overheard a bag seller tell someone he only makes a 20% profit on a bag/bucket. Like Senior said you can invest thousands in equipment and spend years and not find much. I would spend $300 just in gas and food on a weekend trip.
