6:42 it came all the way there because you claimed all structures on the map, and doing it all the area around them became you home zone, you should rezone the home base to just the area you want so the quest drop pods fall on your home.
Normal day in the Phillipines temperature is like 40 Celsius and then an old adult notice his coffee getting cold and then he said "oh shi- better drink it before it gets cold"
Smoothing floors can be problematic on high difficulty as it us wealth you can never remove. If you floor it later, the smoothed floor still counts for wealth, which us a major factor on 500%. I would have changed how to the beauty was applied, mind. I do smooth floors, but rarely use that option unless I know I will never that area and never intend to use statues.
@@kowhaifan1249 look at you wealth before and after smoothing a wall, it adds 8 wealth per piece. You can not claim rock, smoothed rock is classed as yours. The only 'claimable' things are constructed items be the walls or ancient trash.
4:36 John "Blitz" Kriegsler is named after a youtuber that first introduced me to RimWorld, way back years ago, during alpha 13 or so. I remember one of his desert series that showed off an early killbox of sandbags, with stone chunks for the enemy to stop behind for cover as a sucker's bait. This was before you could exit your own map to go off on adventures, I believe, so he was relying on orbital traders for materials to build the escape ship. I don't think he covers RimWorld anymore on his channel, but his videos will always hold a special place in my heart, as the first RimWorld content I ever watched. Later on, Aurathas, Robbaz and Samuel Streamer (formerly known as Roll 1d2 Games) got me totally hooked on this game with their zany adventures, wacky / ambitious plans and amazing fortresses.
Seeing Silver rip through almost any enemy really fills me with joy. It seems so effortless here while my tribies died because I enraged a whole Caribou herd ...
Silver is a veteran of the Rim. She's fought in hundreds of battles across dozens of colonies and planets. She's endured countless horrors. Win or lose, she dares greatly and shoots for the stars.
Spider has a huge value of wilderness. I am not surprised that he went wild without a tamer having 12 lv in animal. He was super lucky with that self tame event. If I am not mistaken then spider required lv 10 animal to tame, tame chance is 2% and enrage is 40%.
Considering you're playing at the max difficulty and Randy that's still too easy for you, you've plenty of love left for the game. Nothing short of impressive.
Fun fact in rimworld if you change your reward specifications you can disable quests for only goodwill and can have 3 different rewards instead of just 2
I was so amazed hearing Spyro music in the background, it was my childhood game, never expected to hear that OST in something like 2022 Rimworld video lmao that was dope
I realized harsher climates are somewhat easier to deal with in terms of organic enemies due to just dying outright from hypothermia or heatstroke. Hard to set up, but once the base is made raids are easier to manage. Also really funny seeing tribal people coming to your corner of the world only to freeze/burn at your doorstep.
why don't people build separator walls for the cryobeds, you can insure the safety of the innocents and, by having all but one walled off, if they are hostile, its one vs your colony, the others have to break free. it also means if they are in their own rooms, you don't have to worry about crossfire, and you can medicare the innocent ones in their own rooms. you can also capture people if their room suddenly becomes a prison a bit easier.
i think after choice losing is fun adjusting threat level is pointless. Notice if you take whatever difficulty option and than go to tab with slides all option will be the same in all cases.
500% difficulty is different for each difficulty as losing is fun adds additional negatives you won't see in other difficulties, like harvest amounts, etc.
@@pklemming since i have discovered it, i've started recently play losing is fun on 500% threat but on wealth indepentand mode and i change friendly fire on 100%. Let see how that disaster gonna develop :)
@@krzkam7792 That is beyond rough. If you can keep ahead of the curve you are golden, but on 500% wealth-independant you reach 10 raid points mid(ish) 4 years in on a 20 year run. If you get slightly behind, don't get weapons, skills and pawns fast enough, you are extremely dead :) I can manage a win on 500% LiF 20 years. Maybe with more RNG. High pawn numbers are the key, really, as raid points are no longer based on pawn numbers, but that is down to the story teller, though you can skew it in your favour through using the likes of machine pistols to down more pawns without outright killing them.
It makes combat much more deadly... For both sides. Guns can be potentially lethal in anyone's hands depending on that gun's handling and sway. No more will a bullet leave the barrel at a 30 degree angle and do nothing. But yeah. It's a great mod for combat lovers. The main issue is compatibility with lesser known mods or inherently incompatible ones like dual wield.
yeah, it makes all shots potentially fatal. Headshots and heartshots are likely to kill, even if it is the first thing to hurt the character. Ammo will have to be crafted, you can disable this in mod options, but doing so will limit your ammo diversity
Excuse me guys, i did check the mod list twice but what makes his '' research '' tab different looking like this ? :O Even his other tabs seems different :O
You kinda waste your electricity on air conditioner here. You should've redirected your hot air from freezer to outside or somewhere else instead of inside your own base. That red arrow in A.C indicates it generating hot air that way. Now you need even more A.C. to cool down your overheated base.
