The ending had me crying alot Like my dad had to come in to calm me down. 10/10 video :) I am so happy I am following you ryan Trahan I wish I was in there because your like a brother to me and everything you make me happy everytime I watch your videos and like when ever you do your speech I always keep crying.
I love how he can turn a fun carefree and kinda unimportant challenge into such an important, careful and hateful, serious subject and still keep it wholesome and fun and lighthearted but very deep and important
As someone who watches a lot of Pokémon content, this was refreshing to see. Usually, Poketubers are so familiar with the ins and outs of the games that there's no tension anymore-you just know they'll win easily because the games can be easy if you know how to work the system. Plus, Ryan's perspective felt so... childlike, with infectious enthusiasm. Just an absolute pleasure.
But pokemon youtubers make challenges for themselves to make the game interesting. I like Ryan, but he basically just swept the whole game with an overlevelled Bubba. I don't think it's fair to say it's easier for pokemon youtubers
How did the funny Penny guy somehow make an incredibly fun nuzlocke video that’s simultaneously a commentary on treasuring your childhood and the timelessness of Pokémon. Like, this is an honest work of art.
Ryan is such a genius. Every day he switches his room, his outfit, and his life period during the challenge. For ex, the first day, he was a kid, the second day he was a teen, the last day he was an adult. Ryan is such a great content creator.
And of course the song being completed on the last day, with the paired accompaniment of him shutting off the lights and leaving the room, referencing the after of live.
Quackboom, your sacrifice was like no other, the passion in which he fought since the day he was born. He fought until the very end. Quackboom, your sacrifice was not in vain, nor will it be forgotten. A true hero.
Ugh you hit me in the feels with that ending. When I was a kid, I played Chrono Cross on the PS1. And watch my brother play his save file too. Simpler times. The game has been on Switch for a while now. Its still my favorite game but I know I cant play it now. It will bring me to a place that doesnt exist anymore and I refuse to be bummed out 😂 its a great RPG game tho you should try it.
Even with all this fame, he still is as honest and genuine as ever, and he puts his time and effort to entertain us without taking shortcuts. Thank you Ryan, and keep up the great work. Also, I think you are my biological father (trust me bro)
I’m going back home now to get my hair done and then I’ll be home I have a dentist appointments in a little while and I will call and get it straightened up so I’ll text when I’m on the road and I can meet up and meet up and get my haircut if that’s easier to you then I’ll be there by five fifteen I don’t think you need me there today I have a lot to work today so I’m going out of the office so I’ll probably just go home after work so I’ll call and get it straightened up a bit
This totally hit different. The explanation at the end of “how different it feels back in the day” nostalgia overflow lmfao. I wanna know what he meant at the end 🙃
The end was so emotional. I've grown so attached to these virtual creatures in just 30 minutes. It was heartbreaking when Quackboom fainted. I will never forget these 30 minutes of my life.
it wasnt even sad not even a single emotion went down in my face bro any other nuzlock can do better ive heard people say that this is more emotinel than jaiden animatons platnium nuzlock bro its a good video but this doesnt compare to jaidens video i didnt shed a tear watching this bro stop smoking
why does bro make a whole cinematic movie from playing a game, at the end of every video i feel so emotional no wonder his video about sponsoring candy was so good
Ryan is so amazing. It seems like most RU-vidrs nowadays only do it for the money, but you can tell the talent and passion Ryan puts into his videos. He has all of my respect.
I adore how each one of these types of videos that Ryan produces always has some type of meaning, like childhood and time passing, and how the metaverse talked about the loneliness and insanity that can come with it. Thank you Ryan.
I love his storytelling so much! Its not only a funny video about pokemon, its about life and growing up. Throughout the video Ryan and his room went from kid, too teenager too adult. And then that ending. Love it!
This is a cool series I like how you tried and you didn't 100 days in Pokemon it's kind of interesting cuz am I took my mouth to beat this but you did it congratulations
Tbh we need RU-vidrs like Ryan with really good videos and humour nuzlocke mode made this so much funnier as a person I don’t watch Pokémon but with Ryan it was an awesome experience Just noticed 76 likes! My highest so far
5:47 Juicy Juice 11:03 Fruit Snacks 11:19 Mac ‘n cheese 12:14 Protein shake 16:54 Sweet tea 17:11 Protein shake and protein bar 21:35 Sweet tea 22:10 coffee 24:50 iced coffee 31:31 fruit snacks 32:15 fruit snacks
This is the first time in a long time I’ve watched a RU-vid video and went… “wow, that’s art.” How does Ryan sit so perfectly on the border of goofiness and teaching lessons. Every bit about childhood and growing up was so mature and inspired. I resonated with this so much.
the fact that he almost always ends his video's in an emotional way and with a smal life lesson is one of many reasons i love him so much ur an amazing youtuber!
BRO its not even sad bro i have seen tons of nuzlocks and i didnt even shead a tear i had no emotion i even rewatched the ending and it wasnt that good
This was such an amazing video, seeing you not just progress through the game but seeing you change your room and all of that through the days, almost like progressing through life. The videos you make are incredible and so creative, even when it’s a simple idea. Rip Quackboom 😢
If you love pokemon so much you should make all the vids of you going to events to collect all the mystery gift codes. You'd have to travel all over the world to south Korea and Japan and sometimes Singapore to get these specific event codes. I'd love to experience it though it would be too expensive for me to go everytime.
So much depth, you can see this video as a silly game catching little creatures, you can see it as a path through the life of a child growing up, or you can see it as a message that you can’t forget your childhood. The fact that you can fit that all in 30 minutes of content amazes me. I’ve been watching you for a while and you really have grown in your content creation, and as a person. 10/10 keep it up. :)
The way Ryan told the story of growing up throughout this video was masterful. The fact that he changed clothes and redecorated throughout was clear. However, when you pay attention to the subject matter at the end of the video where he is fighting the final boss while talking about growing up it becomes abundantly clear that Pokeman was only the sub plot of what Ryan was doing in the past 100 days.
This video made me realize just what life has to offer, and it almost made me cry. Ryan, I just want to say thank you for making these, you make the world a better place.
wait this is actually so amazing as someone who grew up with pokemon (it was the only game i ever played tbh) and am still growing up with it, this is so wholesome to watch 😭 i hope i will too never lose my love for this game and its little pocket monsters :(
This vid shows how every vid he makes is deep. He is so engaged on the journey of beating the game. Once he’s there he realizes this is something that has stayed with him since he was young. So, he should pause the moment as other things change in his environment and appreciate something that has always stayed with him. But maybe, we can all appreciate change.
ive heard people say that this is more emotinel than jaiden animatons platnium nuzlock bro its a good video but this doesnt compare to jaidens video i didnt shed a tear watching this bro stop smoking jaidens video made me sad and confused i had no emetion during this
Yay champion Ryan I’ve been a champion more than 1 times in a lot of challenges than nuzlock Like randomiser and they call it Pokémon hardcore? Or naughty idk everyone does rhis It’s cool
