I identify as a lesbian, but also kinda genderqueer too? But anyway, I’m open to dating any gender identity or sexuality apart from men (bi, pan, other lesbians, enby etc) and to be honest, if I met a trans girl that I really liked who was into other women, I’d definitely be up for giving the relationship a go if we both felt the same. I think I’d lean more to post-op, but again, if I really liked them then it wouldn’t matter... sex isn’t the only thing in a relationship anyway! I think that if you love someone, you can accommodate for them🥰

I resonated too. I'm ace first, pansexual second. I'm open, but I need to meet others who are open to my lifestyle also. Luckily, my attraction is based on chemistry rather than gender. But sadly I've almost resigned myself not to even entertain a relationship at all, bc it'd have to be with someone who's ok with intimacy but not sex. Unfortunately, in a sex-driven society there aren't many willing to compromise their needs to support mine -- nor would I ever force anyone to have to do that anyway. It's just easier to fly solo and be realistic about my options. So yeah I totally get where Laganja is coming from.

Exactly I relate completely I’m gender fluid myself so things fluctuate at times and as a result everyone I’ve come out to I told them hey I’m gender fluid you don’t have to change anything in regards to addressing me if you don’t want to and I let people choose if they want to use my birth name or my feminine name as long as someone is respectful I don’t mind sometimes it’ll make me smile other days I’ll have very little emotional response it’s just random ya know.

I remember being in a shady part of town in BC and my anxiety showed because I wanted to desperately get on transit and go home. Before I became critically ill (5 yrs ago) I was a flight attendant. I was living it up in Scottsdale AZ, had a hot ass roommate who was/ is a pilot (I miss him terribly). We went to a party at a co-workers house and were hanging out in the backyard. I remember walking in the house and seeing 3 "girls" who had just walked in...they were in full drag. I was admiring them from afar when I realized that one was a very good friend of mine (actually one of my instructors in flight school). I knew he was gay and always had way more fashion sense than me...he was (is) the most well groomed man I had ever met! I literally was gobsmacked when I realized who it was under all the hair, nails and sequin dress! We used to go to Drag Queen BINGO nights at a club in Phoenix...i had so much fun! Damn I miss those days (around 2007) and all the friends and people I got to meet everyday.

I would love that episode! My husband's mom just died a while ago after almost 4 years of terminal cancer. So many people in his family were so uncomfortable being around because she was sick for so long and that's why she lost contact with so many people in her family. It was hearthbreaking. So sorry you have cancer, sending lots of hope for you.

I'm really glad this video exists. Before this video I knew little about Drag Queens- the only information I had was what my dad said. He would say they were disgusting or crazy. As a transgender woman a lot of what they are saying I definitely can relate to, it really just goes to show you that for some people drag is just a pure entertainment thing, and for some its the easiest way they can love their truth. I recently bought some fake body parts and slowly integrating it into my wardrobe and it’s really scary but so so sooooo empowering.

It’s an illness classified by periods of mania (which can include, for example, I know when I was manic I once stayed up until 2am convinced I could teach myself to be a water bender) and depression, each lasting at least a week. When you are bipolar you experience high highs and low lows, often interfering with daily life. It’s a really difficult illness because I know I was misdiagnosed for many many years.

Another side effect of bipolar is oftentimes when you suffer from it you spend so much energy and time trying to control your emotions that you become strained and so those with bipolar are easily irritable and high strung. Little things set us off or will set us down a manic path and it's not because we are crazy. Its just the pressure of keeping a lid on the varying levels of moods. I suffer from bipolar anxiety and its a horrible double whammy.

The question about queens creating their own fashion - has got me thinking back to the PitStop episode where Trixie is chatting with Violet Chachki. Specifically when Violet was saying (not in these exact words) that if you're 'thing' in drag is to be a fashion queen, then you should be able to create some clothes for yourself. Which I think is a totally, completely valid point. If you want to be considered like that, then you should *at least* be able to create some clothes for yourself and continuously develop your sewing skills. In all realism; just because you can walk down a runway in some nice garments (that came from somebody else's mind, and/or that somebody else made with their 2 hands)... That does not mean you've got any type of discernable skills other than walking down a runway. If fashion is your thing, then do it properly.

It was for a sad reason though. He was always bullied by straight men so he was brought back to some emotional trauma when he was younger. Luckily Anthony is a sweetiepie and they ended up getting along really well. They're just both a little shy. :)
