I Spent over $3K on Missing Parts for my 73 Plymouth Roadrunner + New Wheels and Tires! 

In my opinion a chevelle is only good for the crusher

you have the wiper arms on the wrong side the long one should be on the right side , as well the blades should rest just above the black cowel when they are off

The Road Runner horn needs to mount with isolation from the body with something like a rubber isolator to work properly. It should not be mounted like the regular horn directly to the car body. Without that isolation, it won’t resonate to properly produce the meep meep sound.

Bypass (short the leads) the pressure switch on the accumulator to force it to take the refrigerant.

I think you can pull the wipers off and rotate relocate them higher up past that lip on its resting spot. The car looks great Randy.

I have a Lexus ls400. Stock it came with four mufflers. I took two of the mufflers out and the other two I replaced with flowmaster 40s. You had mentioned those. My car with my little 4.0 V8 sounds beautiful. Love it. FloMaster 40s are perfect

Boy oh Boy the Roadrunner looks great sitting on those rims & tyres. Great work Randy. A hint to help fix that dodgy wiper switch, Remove it from the car, get a jar that it will fit in and fill it with Isopropyl Alcohol and let it sit in it for 1 hour or so and stir it now and then. Next turn the switch many times while still in the alcohol as this will help clean off the copper contacts and stur around some more to get the junk out of the switch. Lastly, spray the switch with lots of Inox MX5 and it will work like new again. I have used this procedure before and it works everytime. Shame its missing the airgrabber hood as it would set the car off very nicely. Love your channel Randy Cheers.

I have a '76 Valiant sedan, cost me about $150 to pay the tax, title, & tag fees. 88k miles, V8, solid, weirdly optioned. Over the years of buying/selling, trading and scrounging junkyards I have a pretty collection of parts to put in it. 12" rotor swap. Formula S/ A38 suspension. 8 3/4", 3.55 SG rear. 340. An iron-case, A-833 OD gearbox with everything to convert the car. Cop car rims with AMC centers (on the car with 215/60 Bridgestone black walls) as well as a set of (5) 16" Lincoln LSC rims. Also retrofitting AC from a junked '76 Valiant slant 6 car, with the compressor & alternator (with wiring & regulator) from an '89 Gran Fury cop car. People will say "Oh, that tranny is not geared for performance- you should get a 5 or 6 speed conversion." "You know that Wilwood & Baer make big brake set ups, right?" "If you getsome 18" or 20" wheels and tires, this thing would look better" Well, here is the deal. It's going to perform very well, much better than a '76 police car A-body ever did. And the slight performance advantage you might get spending thousands more is not worth it. People go upside down chasing this idea of perfection (or marketing prowess lingo), spending tons of money. Then it's not driven or used most times except to go to a car show. And the truth is? You are better off & dollars ahead to buy a new performance car if that is your true goal. Me? I view it as a "Bang-for-the-buck" proposition that is fun to drive & worth more than what I'll have in it. You have to have perspective

The new wheels are nice , you might go with a glass pack muffler , the tone is usually nicer .

I think the wiper arms are backwards, the left is on the right and the right is on the left. They always hang up on the chrome strip on the old Mopars

The car came out great, I generally don't like the torque thrust wheels, they're so played out from everyone putting them on everything the past 20 years especially, but there's a reason for it I guess, they do look good on anything. I'm looking forward to seeing the Chevelle, hopefully that all works out.

Just keep the roadrunner and swap a hemi or 440 in it. This way you can do more videos/upgrades for the channel with the roadrunner and not worry about hurting the collectability of the car. If you get the Chevelle you couldn't do many upgrades/videos to the car because you would hurt the value/collectability of the car. In my opinion the roadrunner has more juice for squeeze.

Beautiful low miles original car but because it's a tribute you are right. Checked a few sites and real roadrunner 70 to 73 (45000 and up). Hope whoever gets it loves it for what it is.

I’m surprised you pay so much attention to the comments 😂 I see some of the negative ones and I also have people attack me sometimes when I post but I just leave it alone. Every once in a while I might tell someone they’re being ridiculous but this is the internet man, everyone is going to have something to say and some people LIVE for internet fights. It’s sad really. I’m here for the cars and your content, always have been. No matter what you do whether I agree or not it’s usually interesting and if it’s not something I would do it makes me laugh or look at it in a different way. Sometimes I like it and learn something. Anyways, enjoy these old muscle cars man, cars like these are going to get more rare and more rare every year, especially with the new 2026 all cars at 40 mpg or better. We are a dying breed of people that love the classics.

Randy sir, get the A/C working and send it on its way. Your always saying how hot it is in OK!!! I know also from experience how hot it gets there and also how freakin’ cold too. Was stationed there for six months from winter to summer and don’t need to experience that ever again. So you need good heat, A/C and windshield wipers and you are done. You’ll recoup your money and as always, on to the next. 👍

Glad I saved my Road Runner horn! Meep Meep! To be honest, if I ever bought that, I'd have to restore it to the Satty it is and not a clone. Hood is a dead giveaway.

Now you need to remove the back tires and paint the drums black. Those rusty drums take away from the new wheels.

For the grommets heat in warm water first

Bro you should get the petty blue paint job for the road runner. And you should also change the wing to the superbird one and make this the NASCAR superbird that Richard Petty drove. Please. I know that will cost a lot but I know many people on the channel would love to hear you say that "I will make the roadrunner look like the Richard Petty's superbird."

Love the tire and wheel choice. Soak the wiper bushings in very hot water for about 15 minutes or so before you try to install them.

If someone doesn't like the black bezels they can cough up your asking price, strip the paint and polish/buff the stainless. I like the look, those tires bring it together.

had a 73 roadrunner with 440 got it in 77 traded it in 79 when gas started Jumping up -- now wish I would have put it in my granddaddy's barn .. only got 1800.00 for it trade -- always having to work on little things - but man what people are getting is unreal for these cars
