"Copart Walkarounds" are a kind of "unpacking" videos. This type of video does well in any genre. As for me, your endless energy in your videos is inspiring. Keep going !!

Thank you Randy for realizing that while the high-end cars are nice to visit, I'm not interested in a steady stream of them. I like what you did by finding a "Diamond in the rough" to buy and fix up. Please keep up the old work 😁

I love that you are doing the cheaper cars. I always love seeing those older 90’s and 80’s vehicles better than newer cars and seeing what will make it home! Thank you for listening to your viewers! I think I started watching around 2 or 3 years ago and still do. Thanks for the content!

My two cents - each vehicle on a walkaround has its own story to tell, and you don't know what that story is until you check it out. That's why those videos work so well. They're usually the first thing I look for when I need something to watch at lunchtime.

Your right about what your viewers want. Love to see the high end cars but the average person like myself really likes the, It says it doesn't run but it does so I'll buy it and drive it home.Then we all wait until we see home through the windshield and then feel the relief you do, and if it doesn't we get to see you repair it though the trolls are sure it's your stunt double doing the work since you never work on cars. Great video and the Power Tour and the Chevelle were fantastic. True AAR video. Cliff hanger at every turn. Will M.W.M. and I make it to the next stop?

Randy, I have watched EVERY video you have made since late 2017 or early 2018 but I love your walk around videos as they are consistent and you comentary each video is always a breath of fresh air. I watch most of the car RU-vid channels but your walk around videos are always the 1st videos I play.

I have owned the same 6.5L engine for the past 24 yrs. Those engines are beasts, not the fastest, they have their issues etc. but a beast. I can start mine in the dead of winter with no issues. Quick FYI on a good old mechanical diesel…. As long as you got enough electrical to start it and keep the fuel shutoff valve open, she will run indefinitely. Doesn’t need an ignition system. You could have ran that old girl all the way to Florida like that lol

I enjoy seeing a mix of both, the lower end and also seeing ones like the Chevelle at times that become a several video series, with the Power Tour mixed in. I'm curious to know what the IAA and Copart auctions currently are like with vehicle prices climbing. Around here it looks like the prices at the salvage auctions have gone up overall and the deals are a bit harder to find.

The content on this channel is always watchable, love the trip's with monkey wrench Mike, I also love to see if a not so perfect car can manage a long drive home. Honestly I played football instead of working on cars growing up,You know the hobby that would be serving me well even now, thought I was going to be the next Peyton Manning I guess, point being I can sit down and watch any of your content. Good job Bro!

The reason why I watch your channel is because the cars you present for the most part are things that I could go out and buy with my means. high end car channels are a dime a dozen these days, and none of them are identifiable to me. I think this sentiment is where you're capturing your viewership from.

I've been watching your videos now for the better part of six months. I think at the end of the day, you've got to make the videos that make YOU happy. If you want to do high end cars, do some high end cars, it'll attract new subscribers, just don't forget to keep doing the low budget finds too. Look at Vice Grip Garage, his channel exploded over the past couple years and he started introducing content that was more than just rescuing and restoring old abandoned cars. If you'll notice, his views on the old abandoned vehicles that he gets to start still far outpace the newer stuff, the stuff like car shows, races, etc. The best bet is to do what makes you happy, but also don't forget where you came from.

Randy, that HumVee just runs so good. I think you are right, we like seeing the cars we will never be able to have, but the junkers and clunkers are more our level of affordability. Maybe another swamp vette?

Personally I love all the road trip videos, power tour included, I like the cheap cars but also the nice ones, in my opinion it would be nice to have a mix, for example having a classic car, a car like the viper, and a couple of 90s beater cars at any one time. It’s nice to have a mix of different cars and different video types and I think you’ve been great at doing that. I guess having the more expensive cars is like having carnage in the copart walkarounds - it’s good to have it in every now and then for variation and many people do like that content- but it seems the majority would rather have less of it. Above all though, do whatever makes you enjoy doing what you do, as I’ll watch every video at some point no matter what the car cost.😂

I get doing what the subscribers on the channel want, but it really comes down to what it is you want? If you want a couple of nicer, higher and cars, then you should do it. To have a muscle car around it’s kind of nice, to have a sports car around is kind of nice, but it really comes down to what do you want to have around, with your fiancé’s approval of course, this is your channel do with it what you want. I was watching one of Hoovie‘s videos, and he mentioned the same thing.

I tend to watch every episode. Somehow you hooked me. Some episodes I like better than others, but I watch them. For me, the walk arounds can be just ok, depending on what you show and possibly buy to fix, but they can get repetitive. Seeing the 2000 Nissan with 200k miles with torn, smelly interior, drug paraphernalia, dents, dings, rats nest, etc. doesn’t trill me. Road trips are great to watch because of the unexpected, but I understand they are not easy or realistic to do often. I thought the Chevelle was the best. I’d watch anything you do on the Chevelle, from wrenching to even if you were to go for a 5 minute drive to the General Store for coffee. Takes me back to when I started driving and always loved the Chevelle 396 but was too young to own one. To me it was the best of the muscle era. I know, some prefer Mopar, but I liked Chevy. The Viper might be a great super car but not as interesting as the Chevelle. As for the Humvies, they are unrealistic vehicles for most people for too many reasons. Watched out of curiosity. I think a good mix of material and when you add Santa & MWM changes things up and makes it more entertaining.
@vanmandad

Your content is ALWAYS great. It's just that right now everyone is living paycheck to paycheck, so watching auction cars get turned into daily drivers is appealing. My personal favorite was the Nissan Hardbody pickup. Man, did I want that truck!!!! I tried to do what you do with a car I really wanted - a 1972 Dodge Dart with a slant six. But my wife pitched a hissy fit and said I couldn't keep it because it was "ugly". So I took it back to the guy I bought it from and I have regretted not keeping it ever since.

I liked the high end cars and the bottom end cars on your channel and always tuned in to see what you did no matter what car or truck you had on the channel. I would be happy to see both on the channel. However I wish it would go back to the low end cars with an occasional high end car video once or twice a month. The cheap car "will they run and drive" format is may favorite part of your channel. In away that set you apart from the other channels. While Hoovie brought out those high dollar Euro luxury cars, you were bringing videos with Ford Tempos and Dodge/Plymouth Colt Vistas and other cars i saw lots of when I was growing up in the 1980's and 1990's. They were not fancy or sexy but their low prices when new allowed lots of folks to have a new car. In the case of the Tempo there were a lot sold because banks were not really giving out loans back then and the only way most folks could buy a new car was to finance it at the dealer. In the case of the Tempo/Topaz they were pretty reliable and gave somebody years of issue free driving . They also had a AWD version for a few years. I lived in (and still live in) a wealthy area and there were a lot of Tempos and Topazes around (oddly enough the status symbol car in the late 1980's to mid 1990's around my way was the Volvo 240. It was not uncommon in that era to dive past a big mansion and see one or two in the driveway or peeking out of the open garage door) I do like the old HUMVEE. It is one of those vehicles that is rugged and easy to fix. You should have thane that on Power Tour..... Anyway you keep doing what you decide to do. I will still be watching
