I Stayed in the Cheapest Room at THE D in Downtown Las Vegas... 🥤 

I just booked the D an hour ago for March 13th till 16th.. I told the guy on the phone I decided to pick the D because of your video. He knew about you and he offered me a free upgrade already. So thank you Ruby

Stay there and had no problem with the noise and went up and down on the Sky Deck. We loved staying there and will stay again 💞 Love watching you and your tips

I always stay at The D when I am downtown and I love the rooms…once we were on the sixth floor and I didn’t have any issues with the noise from Fremont street, and the lady at the desk did inform us that we might hear the music, but we were fine, love The D, can’t wait to stay there again in May! 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦

I love your reviews! Always so helpful for those of us who do are just regular folks and don't need to be at the fanciest places. We have stayed at the D a couple times. Had about the same reaction as you. Nice enough but cheap. We do love the casino though. Always a good time.

Love the D. Always ask for a high floor and a quiet room - and non-smoking. It feels like a quiet oasis in the heart of the party - can’t wait to go back. And you are in downtown Vegas - very rarely in the room a lot - so many attractions nearby.

I really appreciate your reviews, but I don't go to vegas just to stay in the room, and I usually stay solo, so enormous rooms aren't really a big deal for me, as long there's no bugs Im ok.

Love the casino there. My friends and I had a blast on that old school horse racing game that takes actual quarters. I also very much enjoyed the blackjack dealers in the evenings. I don't think I'd stay there, but its definitely a place I want to play at next time.

I love staying at The D. I'm lucky enough to get a corner suite comped when I stay. It has a couch, and a minifridge. If you like steak, eat at Andiamo, you won't regret it. Old school feel, and great service and food. This makes me miss going, it's been way too long since I've been there.

Just came from there, and let me tell ya! You are CORRECT about the noise! One thing that really bothered me though, when I stepped into the shower, it was just ONE slab of glass that had the cut out in it. There was no sliding glass to close so water was EVERYWHERE! 😳🤦🏾‍♂️

Being right on Fremont has it's perks and drawbacks. I always travel with a white noise machine next to the nightstand. It drowns out exterior and hallway noises. I also tend to ask for the quietest part of the hotel I'm staying at.

You are accurate Ruby!!! We stayed at The D Hotel last February 2020 when Brett Michael's played in concert attendance Fremont stage downstairs and I must say it was sooo loud. I felt I was front row concert in my room. Most of their rooms you can hear the noise going on downstairs. Super noisy folks!!!

Great video. I’m here now. As for noise, the front desk said to ask for odd number rooms for quiet, even numbers for Fremont noise. I requested even… gotta love the atmosphere!

I stayed there for the first time on Thanksgiving. The extra of using the swimming pool at The Circa was cool. I never used though and the basic room was quiet.

So my wife and i took your advice and booked a dinner /show package at the strat and it was an amazing experience the food was top notch thanks so much for the rock solid recommendation👍👍😁😁

Love The D, always stay there and sometimes combine with MyVegas. The D elevators are so close to the casino and exits. And I get two comp 4ooms and some food each month with no fees and I visit so in frequent.

You guys are my most recent but most impressive subscription and I enjoy every minute of your videos. Ms. Ruby is very watchable, likeable and fun. I watch a lot of vloggers but none of them match the quality of your editing. If that's due to Mr. Ruby...my deepest compliments. Hollywood level! That was probably the kindest review of the D's pool I've ever seen. Lol... It kinda reminds me of a motel 6 pool, but for me that's no big deal; I don't go to the pool anyway.

Precovid, March at the D was usually around $30 for weekdays. About the best value for people just needing a place to store things

Great video. My buddy and I stayed at the two bedroom suite at The D a couple times. Thanks to some lower than normal covid prices, it wasn't that expensive. Love that room. No issues with noise or anything.

Love that place, I have been staying there since it was the fritz hahaha perfect location. The noise really never bothered me but then again I always went to bed late!

Love pointing out that up escalator every time. It draws you in and you have to gamble your way out! LOL!

The D was my favorite Casino when I went the week before your stay. I noticed the music was my taste, and I simply had more fun there. That being said, circa was fun, as was el Cortez. We stayed at the grand. Cant wait to go back. I only skimmed the surface on my first trip.

Great video! Just an FYI, when I went to the D in June, if you go to the players club desk and told them you flew to Vegas on Spirit or Southwest, they gave you $50 free play.

We stay at The D every time we go to Vegas. Actually just got home from there on Saturday. It just depends on what side you stay on as far as the noise. Fremont side is loud, the other side is much more quieter. We just love The D!!!!

We are going to stay at The D on our next trip, on a Comped offer. When we booked, we were pleased to find out that their Comped Rooms have NO Resort Fees. We are a little worried about the noise - so we're going to bring ear plugs. Fingers crossed the noise won't be too bad. Looks like a basic room - but still looks way better than MGM Grand West Ring Room (NEVER AGAIN!!). Love your videos Ruby! You give us our Vegas Fix when we can't be in Vegas!

The top of that one-way escalator has the best bathrooms at the top. We always hang out across the street in a little tiny bar. I just booked the D. Can't wait for the stadium swim

Just want to say I'm a new subscriber. I just caught your channel tonight and I like the one on the stratosphere that you did 4 weeks ago and also I just caught the one that you did on the El Cortez hotel 3 weeks ago. It's nice to see a channel that somebody does reviews on these hotels in Vegas because it gives me a lot of information and it also broadens my horizons on other places to stay. I like how you talk about all the different aspects of the hotel from the food to the gaming to the shows to the bars etc. After watching 2 uploads of your videos I've already subscribed. I like how you do your videos they're very informative and I like it how it's just all about vegas. Gives me a lot of information and it broadens again my horizons on other things to do there. I'm here in SoCal actually in Anaheim not too far from Disneyland and I'll be heading out there very shortly. Would never thought of staying at the El Cortez but now it's giving me an idea and I might want to just check that out. The location makes it perfect for a weekend on Fremont especially during the Free Summer concerts! The casino has a great party feel. I love how you coined the 'Derek Steven's vibe' with your review on the GG. The corner deluxe are nicer and the suites are dope! Always a great time at The D!

I stayed at the D in June of 2021 and found it okay. Our first room had air conditioning issues so they had to give us another room. We did take advantage of Stadium Swim which was amazing.

I’m so glad you tried the coney spot. I’m gonna try it out next time. Me and my wife always souvenirs shop on Fremont

I've been checking your VEGAS vids for our upcoming trip and they are always super helpful! You solidified my subscription with that perfect Simpsons reference!

My wife and I stayed at The D at the beginning of Aug 2021. We stayed on the 32nd floor facing the other side and never heard any of the music. Our room was exactly the same but we were able to get it for $29/nt plus resort fees. There is also a hidden balcony near the Fitness Center on the Banquet Room Floor. Definitely a great location when staying on Fremont.

Nice video, I never stay downtown. Try Harrah's, the Wynn or the Palazzo for a quiet room. The Wynn Tower Suites are ultra quiet with the golf course view...

Good review. We always start off at Bellagio and finish on Fremont. We usually stay at GN & this time we are trying The D. I have heard it’s loud too. Hope earplugs or too many drinks puts me out.

Love the d very exciting. But you're right very loud I was on the 14th floor same side as you trying to go to sleep at midnight and I couldn't get to sleep because of the noise.

Stayed here back in April. We liked the location but it was a bit loud even though we stayed on the 35th floor. We could the Circa pool from our room and also see the Freemont canopy. The mattresses need to be upgraded were hard and lumpy. The Hotdogs are very good.

I stayed at the D once. It was fine, our room was not loud at all. .... American Coney is a must stop for us everytime we're in Vegas! It a really good cheap meal, lol

Hi Ruby! I was in Vegas last week and stayed at the Palace Station. They have a FREE shuttle to-and-from the airport and to-and-from the Strip, all at scheduled times (and they were on time)! I think you would enjoy checking it out - if you haven't already.

The D is awesome! It's my go to spot on Fremont, and although I typically stay at the Golden Nugget, I've stayed at the D many times. I travel with a white noise machine, so I can't hear a thing!

i stayed at the D in March of 2022. We had a corner room, like 24th (?) floor, right below us was the stage, it was loud but I took a zquil and it helped me sleep lol thought the room was nice, clean, a little bare, but as long as its clean im good. thought the casino areas were cool. i would stay there again. (however would like to try a couple other spots downtown too)

Good Review Ruby, we have been there 6 times and never went to the pool, but we did go to Stadium Swim. All your +/~ are right on.

I stayed on the 16th floor kings corner, I didn't notice the noise as much, our room had fridge microwave ect, basic rooms make you bored and you leave your room to spend money
