Beautiful collection! I just got interested in coleus last spring. I got clippings from friends and overwintered them. Now I try to find different varieties!
Your coleus are lovely, love the copperhead !! I have one called Big Chief that is easy to confuse with copperhead. I had never seen copperhead before other than just pictures on the internet. So I was glad to see a video of it so I could see the differences with Big Chief. I think one on the far right at your mailbox is called festive dance. I had some last year.
I'm a bit obsessed with coleus and have around 70 varieties I overwinter inside my greenhouse. I start new plants every fall via cuttings rooted right in potting soil(new) and then let the old plants freeze. Helps keep the mealy bugs down in the greenhouse and keeps the coleus from getting woody when starting with new plants every year.
You are too?😂 , they are beautiful! Whoa! That's a big collection. I just started mine this past year. I like growing new ones from seeds. I do cuttings as well but I like to keep my old ones.
Love this! I have a couple that just went wild this year You mentioned one that you over wintered. Could you explain or do a video on how you prepare them for and over winter them.
Thank you! .Yes definitely, I will do a video just for overwintering coleus. I did a video of how to overwinter annuals and I included coleus there but I didn't include my coleus cuttings.
