Something I would like to know is how did Mojang not think of this scenario and what to do if it happened.

10 years later, rekrap tracks down the employees that denied him his minecraft account. And they are never seen again.

I actually had this same issue. In 2020 my minecraft account had been hacked, and to get my account back I needed to verify ownership of the game. Problem is, the game was bought for me by my father, back in like 2009 or 2010. We didn't have transaction IDs or anything. They asked me 4 questions to verify my account: "In what city and country did you register the account?", "What month and year did you register the account?", "What was the original email address registered with the account?" and "What was your internet service provider (ISP) at the time of account registration". I was pretty vague with the month and year, as i gave them like 3 different months but they were able to get me verified and get my account login reset, transitioned over to a mojang account, and all ready and waiting for the microsoft transition. If you want a name to mention to support, tell them Ranma helped a player in this same way on September 8, 2020.

I wish you could just tweet at Minecraft or Jeb or any other Minecraft dev telling them about your situation and saying "Is my RU-vid channel Name proof enough?" Thank you for all the likes. I have found out that rekrap does not Twitter or nearly any social media so basically this idea is pointless unless he creats a Twitter account and promotes it

I've had the exact same problem and I was dreading it for months, waiting for my last days for all of my old progress on hypixel, ect. to be reduced to nothing. I moved over what I could from 2b2t ect. before they forced migrations, but unfortunately I have no way of getting my account back with no email or purchasing information :(

I also lost my account to the migration in a similar fashion. A friend of mine had to gift me one of their alts (cool guy). I'm not popular enough to even think of trying to contact Mojang in any way that could actually get my account back. I didn't know about Lunar Client, and am very annoyed to hear it doesn't work with multiplayer currently.

Hey Rek! I think if they do give you RU-vid rank, they’ll remove it from rekrap2. Hypixel doesn’t allow someone to have more than one RU-vid rank account, but I’m sure they’ll let you switch it

I feel like Microsoft is just ruining it. I couldnt log on, then it told me i have to be 18 to play multiplayer. Ok so i couldnt change the date of my birth for some reason. So like an idiot i had to create a new Microsoft account, put my age as 18+ and then add my main account to the family and allow the family to be able to play everything without restrictions. So stupid and just complicated.

Hey this is off-topic but I would recommend using a texture pack. It makes the game (and especially the swords) look a lot better. For starters I would recommend Bombies 180k but there are thousands of others.

Hey rekrap, I sorta had this problem aswell and what worked for me is using a Client by the name of Feather client. it's really good and it may work so you should attempt to use it.

Hey rek, i havent ever been in a situation like this before, not something this major, and im not the most tech fancy kind of guy, but can't you go to your account and see your history of things happening from like purchases and account creation date as well as the email it was created with. Try seeing if you can accses an account history and it might have the email it was created with listed there. (Also love the content, keep up the good work.)

Like usually, people have pvp skywars in the background while they comment over it, but you were playing while telling the story! Made it much more engaging. I recommend tweeting at mojang or some of the developers because they seem to be active on there. Also could you verify your account from your videos?

If you have any old computers from back then, there's a possibility you used an email client that runs as an actual program and not a website, in which case it will still have your old emails even if you're not logged in anymore, so it could have the order ID (which you can then use to verify it's yours)

I had this happen to my brothers account, it took a long time. Took finding old Skrill payment IDs, email address used to purchase, passwords, etc. It took a while, but eventually I did get the account back. Basically was a game of cat and mouse where I provided the info I could, was told I needed more. Then get more, wait a bit and then submit it again, and eventually you'll get a break through where you are able to give them security questions and such and then you can get into the account and migrate it and use it again.

Can you change your username? If so you could (in theory) change the rekrap2's username to whatever and quickly change parkertwo's into rekrap2, i dont think you would get yt rank on hypixel back, but afterwards its a matter of emailing creator support

So, basically that guy, who tried to move heaven and earth and contacted you three times and did everything in his power to get his account doesn't count as verified, but somebody who could just steal every information of somebody else and use that to verify the account is? That totaly makes sense, yes.

i had the same problem as you with the invalid session part, i found out you need to go to system 32 (if its windows) enter into hosts and delete the authenticator and mojang stuff at the bottom. (you need to open it on notepad)

I would try use feather client or something, try to use a different client, like- As long as they have the legacy,mojang or microsoft account, they can let u in

if my account was made like months earlier than it was, I would've had the same problem also ex IT worker here the fact that the lunar client login worked for as long as it did is hilarious but without access to the original email it was signed up with, aside from getting in touch with some higher ups wherever Mojang did their account storage and management at the time, there's not terribly much you can do it's just a really unfortunate quirk in the systems and how they deal with legacy account verification

Same here. My dad bought my account when I was 11 on a card and email he no longer has. I think I have bought Minecraft about 5 times over the years now, across the various consoles and multiple PC versions

The backdoor isn't really a backdoor, it was a backwards compatible feature that mojang said they were going to remove a bit after the start so client had time to migrate their systems over And the issue with the verification is mainly that, its a process that can't be reversed. Once you are migrated, that previous account is pretty much completely gone. So if someone were to get the username/password for an account (or already owns stolen accounts they know that info for, but not the email), they could just add it to a microsoft account and have full control over it (username, password, etc.) which is a huge thing for alt account sellers

Mojang NEEDS to change this system. But until they do (if they even care enough) I would keep trying. I know it's really frustrating. I had the exact same problem for about 5 years and after trying for all that time I got lucky. I finally wrote another long and detailed email and they finally had me answer some questions about when I purchased the account and old security questions and they allowed me to be questioned as proof instead of being forced to provide a transaction ID that I never had access to because my parents bought the account when I was young back in 2011.

It is actually possible to change the email associated with your account. Changing your account to a different email (not your ParkerTwo one) and then attempting the migration process might do the trick.

I’m loving these hypixel videos, though. Gives me nostalgia from old technoblade video (may he Rest In Peace and remain epic.) Hope you figure out the issue with your account, rek.

Had a similar problem, but I eventually managed to salvage my purchase ID from a deactivated E-mail account. This whole migration system they came up with is flawed because of that. Some of these accounts are so old that it's nearly impossible for you to still have access to the info they're requiring. And maybe that's on purpose to force you to buy the game again.

I have pretty much this exact issue. What I did up until they killed off the authentication servers was use PolyMC, instead of my usual launcher MultiMC. PolyMC had a workaround for unmigrated accounts. It's caused all sorts of problems as a content creator myself. I am a member of a couple whitelisted servers and I had to get completely new gear on a different account which is just a complete nightmare. Mojang/Microsoft CAN do something about it, but if they don't they know you will just buy another account, so they don't do it. Microsoft's goals with recent changes are to make more sales, therefore more money. Unfortunately, it is all to do with the new chat reporting feature. Forced migration to Microsoft accounts is only so they can force you to agree to the new TOS required for the chat reporting feature to work at all. When Microsoft bought Mojang back in 2014, I was concerned that something big like this would happen, because at the time Microsoft had a thing for ruining absolutely everything they touched. And look where we are now.

1. perhaps try other client? i recommend pvp lounge you just need to login in to your account and i think it might fix it. 2. if you only need the ability to nick buy mvp++ you can nick with it😊

You can try logging in with the technic launcher, a friend had a similar issue, he didn't migrate his account in time and couldn't log in with the normal mc launcher but was able to with the technic one. Multiplayer worked as well as singleplayer.

Bro I had the same problem that you had. I had VIP+ And all my Bedwars stats that I grinded for is now gone. Due to the stupid migration thing, I even tried to recover it but nothing worked. It just shows that Microsoft is ruining JAVA.

If you are still having problems, then try contacting Mojang with a video recording of you signing in to Lunar client. I don’t know if this would work, but you can give it a try. If you don’t have RU-vid rank on your alt, you can buy MVP++ to get /nick (but it doesn’t work in lobbies).

Ive had this problem aswell try emailing microsft becuas ethey own minecraft and trying making a ticket, all i did was talk to an employe they verified the account was mine a put in a recovery form and it worked. I hope the helps. Or you can try doing the same on majang support if microsft doesnt work

Try the security questions like, what's your first pets name. Not sure if they had those in legacy but still worth a shot.

I think that rekrap can actually still play on multiplayer servers with his account, but to a limited section. Offline mode servers or also known as cracked servers don't look at the account, they just look at the username and if the username is legal, they'll just let the "account" join.

Had the exact same issue I was trying to migrate from Mojang to Microsoft but the problem was my email was from this club penguin fan email site which no longer existed for years. After providing as much information I could like guesses (yes guesses), birthday, account creation, they were finally able to reset the email to my new personal one and I could migrate.

I might be a bit late, but i think i either got extremely lucky or you got unlucky, because when i ran into the same issue as you, i did the quick "migration help" form on the mc website and got my account migrated in the following week, without having access to my old email address and the order number. Quite sad that their system didn't work for people who actually needed their account for work.

As a last resort it might be possible to remove that old account to free up the rekrap2 name but that doesn’t save anything on servers

Ive actually had a very similar issue with migration. I didnt have the Transaction ID, and access to the email. But i managed to email minecraft support, and expained them that i didnt have those two things. They requested me to basically fill out this questionnaire (like when did u buy account, what did u buy it with) and i answered most of them correctly, and they migrated the account for me Also, there are 3rd party clients that allow you to play with using older account that werent migrated.

I had the same exact issue as you. I didn’t have my moms old credit card, email, nothing attached to the account. I contacted support and told them I’ve lost all access to these forms of verification and asked if there were other ways I could verify, and then they asked me some other questions to which I answered correctly and regained access to the account. This was not a legacy minecraft account however.

They aren't going to give anymore yt ranks on hypixel anymore, bc they are probably going to change the requirements, bc so many people have 30k subs and there are too many yt ranks. They are just ignoring all yt rank applications im pretty sure. (I am pretty sure this is the case I might be wrong i heard people say this a few months ago).

You should be able to tweet at developers and show your RU-vid account to prove you own the account you could also ask your friends to do the same power with numbers

Yeah I had the same issue trying to migrate my old account from 2012, luckily after a couple days of back and forth with support they let me migrate. I think I got luck getting a competent support team member

Try opening lunar client then go on single player, join a world. Then click esc and click on multiplayer. This might work

If you're playing on 1.8 i really recommence using a texture pack it looks à lot cleaner

One thing that Might work But Really Depends Is to see if one of your friends knows a higher up in Microsoft/Minecraft. Doing so you could probably get to that person and give them all the info you know hopefully that would be enough to migrate

Rek what you have to do is change your name on lunar for your main then you can change your 2nd to your mains name and your mains name to your alt so you have both the names for back ups

What I would do If I was in your situation is use lunarclient but to get a valid thingy you have to sign into your acc in the minecraft launcher but since you cant maybe try contact one of the higher ups and give them as much info as you can

Hello rekrap. The same issue happened with me. My dad bought my account for me in 2013 and i couldn’t migrate my account because I didn’t have the original email and the transaction id. I tried to contact support but I always received automated messages that didn’t help at all. It’s sad to see 9 years of progress go to waste and I can’t do anything about it. I hope there is something in the future that lets us get our accounts back.

My problem is similar. I didnt even KNOW about migration, and i played lunar client regularly so i was chilling. And then i see i cant play anymore so i tried to migrate. When i go to migrate my account i need these wierd questions like "What was your dogs first name" when i never even had a dog lol. If i try to reset the password, i need my dads email from like 2015. I tried MANY things just like you, and came to the realization that i will problably never get that account back (RIP to my multiplayer world with my friend that we bat the enderdragon 10 times, got max gear, and collected every single animal and named them as pets).

Dude the same thing happened to me! I was so lucky that my dad keeps all his Paypal purchases and he called Paypal to get the info. It was a extremely long process. Took multiple months but I finally got my precious account back

Almost the same thing happened to me but it’s a bit different. Mojang told me migrate my account so I tried to and it said I had to use my email for it. I did that but my account didn’t migrate so I was locked out of Minecraft multiplayer. Eventually my mom RESTARTED Minecraft and had to download it again but a text popped up saying I had 30 days to play because I was “on the wrong game”.

possible solution: Get the server admin of lifesteal to disable "online-mode" in the server.properties file which stops the server from verifying minecraft sessions so you could log into lifesteal. Downside is it only works on that server.

I have had this problem with my account, it was hacked and migrated and I was super bummed because Mojang support is basically nonexistent. The email containing my order number got deleted because it was a 2016 account, no email stays that long. What I did was I got my parents to send me a credit / debit invoice from the time I got my account. (2016 November) and when I showed it to Mojang support, They surprisingly took it as verification. Its worth a shot if you still somehow have the invoice from that time. Please let me know if this works because it did for me. I send my best wishes to you and your account!

I think u can use multimc its like vanilla but u can ad fabric and forge mods and i think it still supports mojang accounts

I had a similar thing happen to me, I somehow managed to switch my email to my new one without access to the previous email, not quite sure how, but that saved my account before migration was forced.

i had kind of the same problem as you that i got a new pc and i couldnt download minecraft once i logged on my account cause some stupid security thing about the account migration that it got forced when i got a new pc. or something and the account is on an specific email and more stuff blah blah blah it was like half a year ago so i dont remember much i just bought minecraft again which in my country costs 100 zł ;-;

if mojang can force name changes upon peoples accounts when they are unhappy with their usernames, and if mojang can force migrate people, mojang can get you your old account back and attach it to another email address. this is what is called them being lazy. they wont do it unless a big enough crowd shout about it like everything else..... tweet at jeb. make them give you your original account back, attached to an email address that u can quickly set up. your channel name and previous videos with you using the account should be enough proof that its you along with your ip address matching the one that used to log in with rekrap2 they have no reason to withhold the account from you.
