Make sure to check out Airalo for your next international adventures☺️ I wasn’t sure if I was gonna be able to pull this off, but I’m so gratefully with how it turned out☺️❤️
Alley. We don't know him like you do, but it's already so obvious he's such a sweet guy. I knew he was lucky to land you and now I'm certain you're so lucky to land him. Perfect. Thanks for the wholesome adorable content!
How awesome, so sweet, I wish I had someone like you to this for me. Years ago I surprised my family for Thanksgiving, they had no idea I was coming. My older sister knew so she kept stalling make sure they were up when I got there. I had to rent a car and print out directions from map quest, yeah I'm that old, lol. And other year I surprised my Mom for my birthday. She wasn't doing well with her health, colon cancer so I needed to go out and see her. Flight got in real late, my brother in law picked me up from the airport. When I got to the house I was happy she was awake and shocked her. Magical moments.
Loved this one so much!! Reminded me of 31+ years ago, when I surprised my girlfriend on Christmas morning. Showing up unannounced at her at her parents' house in Michigan after taking a Christmas eve red eye from Washington state. With Christmas wrap everywhere still, came a knock at the front door, they made her answer. She opened it to my goofy grin, melted into my arms smooching me excitedly (after a week apart)! I dropped down to one knee and proposed right there on the front porch; she told me I had to ask her Dad first. "He already did!" came from inside the house... "Guess that means yes then!" I secretly bought the last ring we looked at that she loved; she noticed it as soon as the box opened! Of course, she said yes! You remind me of her, then and now, same hair and eye color, size, the spunky attitude, her smile is even similar! I still get a goofy grin, when I think about "winning the lottery in life" when she said yes! It's been life's greatest adventure, experiencing our lives together!
That was such a beautiful moment. Tristan is sure lucky to have you in his life, as you are fortunate to have him. Moments like this shine a bright contrast to our bleak world. We need more of this!
I started following you when your video about your injury popped up on my recommended feed. You just carried this aura of joy and positivity through those painful moments and that made me feel really good about life. Now I see you sharing your joy with others like surprising your boyfriend and that is so thoughtful and kind. Such a cute video to watch
I was on a job in Amsterdam (I’m a cameraman) back in 2014 and I took a connecting flight back home via Rome, where my then girlfriend was visiting, to surprise her and propose. I had some similar issues - she didn’t understand why I wasn’t answering WhatsApp, I don’t think eSIMs were a thing back then so when I got to Rome I couldn’t connect to the WiFi in the airport and was horrified to learn that my suitcase hadn’t made it! So I couldn’t change and all I had was the camera gear I’d carried-on. I eventually made it to the hotel she was staying at (conspiring with her friend) and turned up on her balcony where she was conveniently looking out at the view and I took the knee and proposed. Fun fact - a year or two later I had a shoot in Florence and Alitalia lost my luggage again. Lesson learned… Anyway, this is really sweet! Glad it worked out!
I have not seen your vlogs for some time because life got in the way. Then this was presented at my home page. Absolutely loved this vlog and is looking forward for more content!
Hi Alley, I would love to see a video of how you record and edit your content. You always do such a great job, and I think everyone would enjoy seeing what goes on behind the scenes. Love your content!
This could have gone a lot of different ways. Happy smiles, shocked look and joyful reunion show it was amazing. Imagine this scenario. Knock, knock. “Who’s there?” “Lawn guy.” (Opens door) “Alley, if you’re going to work on the lawn, why are you wearing that dress? You’re going to ruin it.”
No idea if you already got a few people to sign up for your Ireland trip, but reading some of the comments below this video, I hope you have a way to filter out certain people.
When I was your age, girls never looked like you. That's a compliment. What a wonderful time to be young. The world belongs to you. Embrace all that it offers. Old age comes too quickly. Oh! And tell your boyfriend that he's one lucky guy. I hope he is a worthy gentleman. Cheers!
Welcome to Canada! Like you, my fiancee is American (Seattle). In today's age it is easier than ever to make it work, tho still our long term goal is to be together (I'll be moving there). Side note, she flies out on July 4 and I CAN'T WAIT🎉🎉🎉
Great video! My wife and I had a long distance romance. Not quite as long as yours! But we made it work and have been married 34 years now. He seems like a nice young man.
I'm happy this worked out for ya! Had a similar experience in college but it went sideways pretty fast. Met a girl the first week of school and we really hit it off. Things were great and we dated all year. She was from a town about an hour outside Toronto. I was living in Illinois with my parents for the summer. We decided we wanted to stay together and I wanted to go see her. Our schedules didn't align so we tried to get her to visit me ..same issue. Finally I just said F it I'll surprise her before we head back to school. Travel arrangements went well, the trip went well, I got to Canada without a hiccup. Hailed a cab to her place and was so excited to see the look on her face! To my surprise and utter shock a young man around 24 yrs old answered the door. This was shocking because she never mentioned a brother. She came to the door laughing and said "well hun who is it?" When she saw me her eyes had this look of sheer panic. I kept it together long enough to say "not your brother ehh"....and I turned around and started walking. I walked a couple miles until I found a hotel. Thank goodness they had an available room. Once settled in at the hotel I lost my shit! She called me on my cellphone and asked if we could meet up so she could explain things. I wasn't interested but didn't have anything else to do so I agreed. Turns out he was her fiance but she wasn't totally happy with him so she left to the states for university. She said she didn't plan on meeting anyone let alone falling for them ect ect ect blah blah..... We got together a couple more times before I left and had a hell of a last dance fling (lack of better terms lol). I returned to the states and the university in the fall. She didn't come back.
Our daughter currently on school trip to Italy. Those with Airalo have great cell service. Others having problems. Appreciate your Airalo recommendation.
What a fun surprise! Awesome video. Also, there's also another travel channel I follow that mentioned Airalo, and now that I know YOU use it, I'll give it a try during my trips.
When my wife (then GF) was finishing her MBA in Thailand, we Skyped everyday. I would’ve loved to pull off a surprise like this, but I couldn’t do so at the time. We’ve been married almost a decade now!
So it looks like she takes off from LAX, and makes a transfer at YYZ, but Flair does not fly between those airports. Flair only does LAS-YYZ as a red-eye from the US. Based on the fact she arrived in T1 and had to transfer to T3 it looks like her red eye has to have been with Air Canada, which usually has wifi for purchase on its transcontinental flights.
I did the same thing with my boyfriend in 2018. We were apart for over 8.month . I used to live in Germany and he lives in Canada. Now we are married and both living in Canada
When you took that first picture in front of the mirror I originally thought it was you flipping the camera off but I went back and saw it was the pointer finger, lol!
@wanderlustalley I still think of that video where you were in Halifax, you guys need to visit more of the Maritimes(that's New-Brunswick, Nova-Scotia, Prince Edward Island plus Newfoundland and Labrador). NGL, New-Brunswick is a must, since that's where I'm from, but I may be a bit biased lol. Seriously though, any of these provinces would be great for you to visit.
I can't fathom the work it takes to make your videos. -Record yourself dancing instead of packing. -Record yourself actually packing. -Record yourself opening the trunk fron the outside. -Put camera in trunk, close it, record yourself opening the trunk again. Then edit it all together.
That's so sweet, Tristan is a very lucky guy! Hope you guys have a long and happy relationship :) I wish I had someone who'd even bother to travel 10 minutes for me haha
Ouch.... you flew from LA to Toronto, just to back track to the Prairies??? I mean there are direct flights from Edmonton/Calgary to LA and visa versa.
You know, with the amount of money that you pull in. There's literally no reason why you shouldn't be doing these things. Fucking be happy damn it, you work hard enough for it, so get that shit! Can't wait to see what other adventures/things you end up doing!
I gave her the advise to show relationship things if she has problems with sexism in the comments here. This could mean that she has problems with it here... Keep that in mind. Keep it friendly here... Your feelings are yours and some feelings are kept in yourself when it's unlikely that you have little to no real life contact. Those same feelings are better kept in yourself in real life too... That's not a positive feeling.
My fave part is when he says, “What the hell are you doing here? Get off my property before I call the cops.” 😂 jk. Canadian, huh? Good call. 🇨🇦 Might wanna stay up there for the next decade or so. 😬
