Exactly and just look at that video when she said Her Moisturizer isn't oily or Heavy like Other moisturizers and then you literally give heavy sunscreen oil and the product says just use 2 DROPS .... 🙂

I was really looking forward to trying the products, when I first heard about the launch, especially the sunscreen. I received it in pr and loved the experience of the packaging and the unboxing, but the products were such a disappointment. I agree with every point you made! I was legit scared of applying the oil on my skin for the fear of breaking out before my wedding, and the Moisturiser didn’t seem worth ₹2700 at all. The b roll looked amazing, Love the lighting too. Ok bye love you ❤

The price margin had itself made me think twice before buying. Celebrity brand hai toh kya hua? If your product are good, it will be sold, otherwise, I really can't say much about the future of your business. And the criteria no 1 should always be Customer Satisfaction and if customers are unsatisfied, then products waise bhi bikega nhi toh YK ultimately you are not gonna earn profit from an already doomed business.

The beauty and skincare industry has come a long way. Consumers are becoming increasingly aware of the products they're using and their respective ingredients. The question of accountability always stands whenever a new product reaches the market but when it comes to brands associated with celebrities and influencers, the accountability increases manifold. It's because we know they have the resources to research and formulate products that actually make a difference to their consumers. As luxurious as this brand might sound, we can truly see what people have to say about it. Grateful to honest reviews like yours that we can make better choices for ourselves.

A lot of what Deepika does seems to be done out of fomo (except talking about her mental health), than being in line with her true personality & passion. On the day 82e was launched, I checked out her insta post and there were comments like “behen ek zero kam kar do” hahahahaha! So rightly pointed out Shreya that the brand positioning (brand tagline, pricing, creatives on the website, names of the products) absolutely don’t add up and make no sense at all. On the other hand, Anomaly’s brand messaging is just so truly on point, unique (PC & the models posing with wet hair, recycled plastic packaging, highlighted natural ingredients of each product), affordable, and most importantly every product is so effective and does what it says. Every time Priyanka speaks about the products, she seems genuinely passionate about it and has something very specific to convey about the brand. So sorry you had to spend 4500 on this prettily packaged nothingness. Wonder what you’re planning to do with the rest of the product (moisturiser on cracked heels maybe hahahaha)

Hey Shreya ! You are right, i also avoid buying celebrity promoted brands. Unfortunately most of Indian actresses dosnt use there own brain to check what quality of products they are promoting as their own brand. Kay beauty is an exception. Today consumers are so interested in ingredients and have so much awareness about skin care,still celebrities like deepika, kareena etc. doesn’t understand the market trend.

Really had high hopes for this skincare line , but seeing the price and then hearing the reviews , I am glad I did not buy these and saved that money to buy way affordable skincare products available in India already which actually work on the skin . I think nothing feels right about both of these products . Thanks Shreya for the lovely honest review as well ❤️ . I think most of us will skip these products as we can have a lot of good skincare products which will make a whole Skincare routine.

But again I did not see the point of your reply under my comment , as I do not think my comment was asking for any suggestions from anyone , as I am well aware about affordable good quality made in India Skincare brands and international brands both after being in this profession for a long time , and testing a lot of products . When deepika posted on Instagram that she's launching something named 82 E . From that ad , I really thought she was launching her active wear as she's very sporty and an athlete herself. But I was wrong , she launched her skincare and that got me excited. When I checked the prices , OMG I was shocked; I can't afford that right now because I'm still a student. I saw many youtubers reviewing these products and everyone is saying they are horrible. Being a dp fan I thought she would be as successful as katrina and priyanka in this venture but I'm wrong. Pathetic products , she should sell these to ambanis 😂

In my honest opinion I've come from a place where at beginning stage of my skincare I use to go by brand and packaging of products but they did nothing for my skin. Later I consulted dermatologist and my skin has improved a lot and my skin feels better than what it use to be years back. When products like these come up saying dermatologically tested people buy them blindly but I don't get fascinated by all of this anymore, an actual dermatologist and his prescribed skin care will be more cost effective and skin effective as a doctor will know your skin type better than any of these product makers ever will.

DP and DP’s skincare brand! I would have nevaeva wanted to buy it in the first place. She doesn’t care about the product. None of the celebs do. They only care about the moolah they gonna make through their brand. I think only Kay has done a good job in this space so far. And Katrina seems to know makeup well enough. Even PC’s skincare brand has some decent reviews out there. But like I said, I would any day spend my hard-earned money (for which I get dark circles) on a genuine group of people who understand, have studied, researched skincare.

I am a dry skin girl too and honestly I was waiting for your review of these products because anything that suits your skin usually suits me (this is because I always follow your recommendations and it works wonders for my skin). Personally as soon as i saw their sunscreen oil drops…in my mind i saw supergoop sunscreen oil 😅 and i feel sunscreen oil doesn’t work for anyyyy skin type because no skin type can tolerate 1/3 or 1/4 tsp oil on their face and reapplying it. I don’t know what they were thinking 🤔

Hey shreya try their facewash and gotu kola dew serum it is really amazing .. i have been using it alot .. the facewash is a boon for dry skin.. amazing composition and effect on dry skin😊
