That first dungeon is basically inspired by Karazhan, and the sheep mechanic is similar to the Big Bad Wolf in Kara. Anyway I got 3 characters to 40, I have done all the content the game has. The game lulls you into a sense of "I can get everything I want just by playing" through a lot of one-off rewards. But you soon realise you need gems and enchants (empowerments), and those are rather expensive. Tier 1 stuff is again easier to make, but then when you start moving into Tier 2 and 3, you realise just how penny pinching the game becomes without buying any gold. I have been crafting and selling stuff, but once I got to Tier 2, the proceedings I made were not enough to get all the gems and enchants I needed. I am more than happy to pay developers for their work, but the crafting system has been designed to MAKE you spend by giving you restrictions. At tier 2 you also need to buy tools to gather (which have limited uses), so you need to spend gold to gather, spend gold to craft (because about 50%/66% of the mats you need HAVE to come from other professions), you'll soon run out without swiping. Plus anything you do buy with real money is character bound. That includes cosmetics, mounts, subscription and battlepass.

I play the game myself and it is pretty good and actually the most F2P no cost game I seen. The skins are a little pricey but I can live with that.

It doesn't look bad but nothing about it stands out out or seems unique in any way. Can definitely tell it was made as a product.

It's a fun, dumbed down wow clone. I have 3 classes at level cap (and above 90 gear score), but don't play anymore already. There just simply isn't enough meat and potatoes there to keep me playing.

It's unfortunate their PR is so terrible with the Spid and Asmon drama because the game is perfect if you are a hardcore endgame raider. I am rank 28 NA Mythic + raider, and our team has wiped countless times trying to clear challenge mode content. It's no slouch, and we spent hours trying to shave seconds off our challenge mode run times to get into Leaderboard. The ancient tree raid, only four guild's world wide have downed it, and that's because it's not a DPS, tank, or healing fight, it is a straight up pure mechanics fight that requires all six dps to each have their own unique individual mechanics, and if any of them screw it up, everyone dies. The rotations are very engaging and fun, the passive guages and talents are extremely well designed and there is a reason the 200k+ players on Tarisland discord spend weeks on end theorycrafting and testing diff rotations. Unfortunately most players just hit lvl 20 and think the game is just press buttons thet come off cooldown. It's one of the most engaging raiding mmos that's come out in the past few years, it definitely scragches that itch. I haven't played it on mobile yet so can't comment there. If you're an endgame raider, bring you're group here to run challenge mode content and you won't be disssointed.

Bummer that this was sponsored, wanted a legit review from you. Tried it personally, felt the gameplay was weird and didn't get far at all. Also didn't like that in a MMO there was no character creation. Anyway, gratz on the ad revenue.

I wouldn't touch this thing with a 10 ft pool, seeing how their company treats it's players.

I came from wow, bdo, eso, new world and this. I could say its definitely not for hardcore mmo people, but I can understand that this game would fit well for those old busy mmo veterans. It has the gameplay but not the mechanics that an hardcore mmo people would love.

I tested this game, and while I liked the aesthetics, the gameplay and casting just feels so bad when one actually does it, that I just could not continue doing it.

Looks like TBC era WoW. Which isn't a bad thing.

Me and the boys played for some days but it have 0 (zero) progression. You begin with all skills avaliable. Just press every skill on CD and boom dmg output. The game have some boss mechs trully but look rlly lacking on char development and progression. Even without meta youtube storm (atm) all players looks the same. Looks very promissing? Yes but the game is shallow like a plate

Stop reading all those who never played the game. I have tried it on myself, here are all conclusion. Good things : - This game is non P2W. Everything including limited cosmetic is purchasable by Gold (in game currency) - There is no reason to pay money on it unless you're interested in limited cosmetic. Every player will get endgame gear, gem etc by just playing regularly dropped by world boss raid , dungeon, and trade market - PVE is great, especially on Boss Raid. Talking about Witch, Druid Raid etc. - The game will not bring "Gear Stat" into PVP 3V3 arena for fairness. (except in 10v10 mode). Bad things : - There is a capped in this game called "energy point" which prevent player go farther than it should have to be (in term of money). BTW This system will gradually unlocked (but not entirely) when you reached higher level. It's designed to limit player what to do per day, but i feel it's annoying - PVP lacks of variety. it's not look cool to watch, compared to real Action MMORPG that has outstanding pvp concept such as Blade and Soul. - PVP is not that balanced. you can take advantage by picking a comp. The gear stat won't apply in this mode. In term of fairness among players. yes it does fair that way but it's quite boring to watch no stat gameplay in this mode. - you can't trade item in this game or sell item to another player for real money like other mmo. However, it does have the way to make profit from this game, but it's not worth for your time since you have to make multiple account. Overall. Good for casual. don't think it too much. just give it a try. no need to pay, it's free. If you play for business, it's not worth your time, i think.

All these MMOs are the same. Pixels are just different colors.. My favorite game is Dungeons and Dragons Online. There isnt another game that has such character progressions and customization that it does. With all the different classes and the ability to multiclass, and recincarnation process that allows you to go back to level 1 while keeping a small part of your previous lives.. which makes you stronger and stronger each past life you earn. The Downside to DDO is it is plagued by lag sometimes. Other than that , new content, updates.. and its free to play.

I'm the one who didn't play WoW at all but played all ARPGs from diablo 1 to current ones. And this game is hot trash, maybe people like it, but "gameplay" is so boring I can't even tell it have one.

I tried it and deleted it the same day. The movement and combat are poorly done in my opinion. Rewards are all over the place. Story is boring.

This is just a generic handy game that plays well. There is 0 difficulty to it and compared to PC MMO's this thing is a huge turd that want to milk you for money. Oh and it's P2W or pay to progress faster like P2W defenders call it. The game didn't have any worthwhile progression from the Betas to the real game and I was still able to do the challange modes on day one and instantly uninstalled the game. Again for people with little to no time that play on a tablet the game is well and fine and that is a good thing. For someone who is looking for an MMO with actual mechanics and game systems that matter Tarisland is just a faceroll clownfiesta.
