I sorta stopped playing cats and soup solely because I've been forgetting to, but from what o remember it's a nice and wholesome game where you have cats who make soup and some juice
I actually used to use Finch a while ago after my best friend recommended it to me. Honestly, it actually helped me. I was going through a pretty awful period in my life and those cute little tasks helped me stay somewhat focused. For instance, I lost motivation to brew tea for myself before bed but I still tried whenever I'd get a notification to. Customising your bird is also a lot of fun, and you can have multiple birds as you go along. Also, as you mentioned, there's some mental health quizzes you can take for free. Sure, they're not fully accurate, but they do tell you to seek a professional which I don't see very often.
One of the most helpful things I learned in AA is the fact there is no right or wrong way to meditate. It's just whatever works best for you. For me, that's putting music I like on my earbuds and just letting my thoughts wonder to whatever. Daydreaming, looking back on events, making mental plans for the next day, etc. It's more the act of taking the time for yourself to take care of yourself. It also becomes more natural the more you go on. Also, keep in mind not every meditation is going to be as impactful as others. It's still important to take the time to do even if you think it may not help that day. It helps it become part of your routine and patterens.
See, that’s the thing I can’t do. I’ve been told to meditate so many times and I just can’t do it because the instant I’m left with my own thoughts I spiral. I’m really glad meditating works for you (and others) though, life would suck if everyone was the exact same and could be helped in the exact same ways
@@keratinbananas7747 While I did not laugh, I must say you are correct. I apologise for thinking that the brutal murder shown was amusing and I would like to reprimand Keelvin for kicking someone so mercilessly on camera
I love how you're improving so much with the comedy on the videos! I laughed a lot through out watching it! Also I couldn't stop thinking of that gorillaz shirt of noodle through out the whole video
I've been using Finch for a while and it actually helps me! Not as therapy or something like that obviously, but it helps me do small tasks that I'd usually skip (keeping my room tidy, exercising daily, eating an extra piece of fruit...)
I highly suggest listening to pink noise, it might sound weird, but your thoughts become so much clearer and you feel like you're in your own mind when you're listening to it. It also makes you realize how loud our day to day life can be without realizing it, how many sounds we produce, so yeah I highly recommend trying that out! Might not be for everyone, everyone's different after all, but hey it's worth a try.
@@kaydwessie296 Hope you'll like it! If you want a cool raining effect I suggest putting on pink noise and putting the phone/speaker under a bowl, just a fun tip!
I used to mediatate in college and I def noticed that it help improve my concentration for the day. Mostly when I did it to switch from dorm mode to school mode if that makes sense. So maybe meditate between tasks instead of just when you did.
I like Finch because I have ADHD and I struggle with doing trivial tasks but I’m a very intelligent person who can do it, I just always forget. Finch makes me not want to let my little bird friend down. His name is cucumber. 😌
Fun fact about Finch: I accidentally exploited it and got multiple chances at a free trial of the subscription (kinda sucks thete even is one) by saying "no" to buying it. I thought it would just end the trial, and keep me on basic, but it let me have more free Finch Plus for some reason? I should say, I was offered it for free temporarily by the app. I checked, it was still free when the trial kept going. Not sure what happened, or if it's intentional.
I’ve been playing cats and soup for a while and I can say that the game is one of the best games I’ve ever played. No game can compare to the happiness I feel from cats and soup
I use flinch daily mainly as a journal ( i realy like that it delcts words and links them together and lets you see in retrospective how a certaon thing has affected yur mood) there are also orher exercises which are nice, like vreathing exercises and jorurnaling to specif promps, i dont recomend using the automated goals, create your own instead
Honestly, Finch And The Meditation App Looks More Outstanding Out Of All Self Improvement Apps, But Since It Is Subscription Based, i am not sure if i want it or not. Not Sure if the Apple Health App Counts, but who knows?
15:54 Therapeutic doesnt mean "licensed guaranteed to work therapist" its a descriptive adjective. Just because something can sometimes be referred to as therapeutic doesnt mean its trusted by psychiatrists.
Cats and Soup is definitely not a therapy game, it's an idle, I had it once but uninstalled it cause it bored me, I don't consider it a good Idle game, it feels like you make no progression, like, what am I even working towards here?

Meditation is tricky as hell and for me I can only stay focused in meditation for 20 minutes or less. I have to find meditations with mudras and mantras because that prevents my inner voice from going off on tangents. The only mental health apps that have ever really helped were the tracking apps for sleep/mood/weight/meds.
Was that intro supossed to be a parody of that one artist that goes "my life f#cking sucks. I'm on the middle of nowhere" in hopes of gaining attention/popularity?
