okay good time to mention this, selene's moon hexes have upgrades you can get throughout the run in the form of a tech tree, by encountering her more times in the run, and how many upgrades you can get depends on the hexes' cycle of the moon (which you can see on the icon on the right or read in the info displayed on the right of each hex offered. now these upgrades are so many, and can be things like increasing damage while hex is still inactive, or increase damage of hex, or give you extra secs of invulnerability, etc.., also you found smth called infusion boons at the end of the vid in one of the incantations, when you next go into a run, check your boon info by pressing b and you'll see these elemental essences they're talking about edit: oh u found out about the path of stars literally 10 seconds later from her keepsake bruhhhh

If you can get those darkness creating guys 1:1, the best way to handle them is in melee range. Just dash through them when they're about to do an attack and you'll avoid every pattern. I was sad to see you didn't get the (imo) best torch upgrade. It makes your specials go straight, but destroys 80% of max armor per hit. It completely trivializes most elite fights

On the demeter 100% dmg boon. Hades 1 everything was additive not multiplicative. Base damage + vs amplify. Assuming hades 2 would work the same

I learned that if you hold the cast button, it does damage regardless of if just pressing it does cuz of your boon. I'll have to give the torches a try again, i wasn't a huge fan of them, personally

Was watching playlist form hades while playing street fighter 6. After turning off sf and still hearing song from it at the beginning of video i had mindfuck haha :D

The problem is, you stopped using your special. It's still better for clearing hordes, throw out normal attacks here and there. Normal attack is good for fighting single target as it staggers really well. Also, you can't stagger bosses so you may as well spam the special, you get less movement penalty too. Though I have to say it would make more sense if the special lasts longer

gotta be honest, it was painful seeing you not using the special attack, that spiraling attack, it goes round and it means it hit multiple times against masses and bosses with body as big as cerberus, besides, a lot of them have super armor that makes them unstoppable anyway, so it felt like just better to throw a special and run there >_ _)>

I feel like enemies have way too much hp in this game, i just keep grinding at the same boss or enemy for 3 or 5 minutes

i feel like i am the only one that is not satisfied with how hades 2 feels, especially with the weapon design and feels like a lack of synergies so far, the weapons feel weak like you need to have the right upgrades to "make" them work. love the enemy design tho. kind of wish now they just did a few dlcs for hades instead. really miss the old characters, not a fan of the story especially because it feels so cut off from hades . however love the art and music. still worth playing ig
