Today I'm experimenting with SENSITIVTY RANDOMIZER to find out if it's actually useful or a scam? I go through a 14 day long experiment facing many challenges to and difficulties to find out if it's viable or a gimmick.

I used the randomizer a couple times and like another comment said, it definitely helps with not auto piloting, but I couldn't see the improvement in developing all parts of my aim. So I do the sensitivity change to force train different parts, like smoothness with bigger movements, micro adjustments and the most importantly imo, getting to reactive scenarios while training just the arm, the wrist and both say the same time. My aim started to take off when I started lowering my sens and getting used to do larger movements and keep the smoothness while trying to move the mouse faster to compensate. For what I can see, it's also much easier to get back to different sensitivities when you practice whole days with a different sens. I can go back and forth between different sens and it takes 1-2 minutes to get used to it.

I can fully back the different sens thing. I can play on almost any sens in the rough 30-80cm so now it’s just based on what game I wanna play and I can adjust pretty well bc I’ve developed that core mouse control after fucking with sensitivity for a while and focussing on different parts

I can play anywhere from 40-80 cm/360, depending on the task (e.g. 80 for static, 65 for dynamic, 60 for smoothness/centering, 44 for reactive tracking), but I personally prefer the _"faster"_ sense (44ish cm/360) as it allows me to use my whole arm, as well as my wrist&fingers, *without* having to reset my mouse position every 5 seconds for long strafes or in a game with a lot of fast paced movement, otherwise I'd run the risk of constantly going off my control pad or missing out on a PR because I had to reset my mouse so often 😅

I have become accustomed to a specific sensitivity, and I used a mouse sensitivity converter to adjust my sensitivity for another game. However, it seems that the converter does not take into account the Overwatch fov, which is set at 103, when converting to a Roblox game called Da Hood. Instead, it only considers a 70 FOV in its calculations. Can you please help me in converting the FOV accurately?

Personally from what I’ve experienced, changing sens isn’t bad it helps isolate certain parts of your aim and different games and scenarios are better on different senses. However there is a point to changing it too often (e.g every round) small changes are fine but a change from say 80 to 40 will take a few minutes to adjust and in that time you will feel off and that’s ok which is why I don’t recommend changing it too often in games but when switching from one scenario to another while grinding or changing focus group I think it’s ok as long as it’s not every minute. This can be different for everyone though and is just my experience. Tl dr: changing while training is good from my experience to focus on different parts for say 20 mins at a time but in game only change it when it feels off and not too often (everyone is different though and you obviously can get good aim even if you never change your sensitivity and stick to one that’s say 42cm)

I used it for a few weeks and got positive results, I used it mainly to focus-train different parts of the arm: ie. finger, wrist and arm… would I recommend only using randomizer? No, I think it can help you involve more parts of your arm however as it gives more comfort and control over them, so switching back to main sensitivity it gave me more confidence in involving my whole arm and not overly relying on just arm or wrist. I think an advanced aimer wont have much of a benefit from this however, but as a beginner it can help you out, just my thoughts though….

The only people that won't have a problem with this are people who have really damm good muscle memory with mouse control. I know a few guys that can use any sense and their aim isn't affected in game nor aim trainers, pretty wild if you ask me lol
@phronesis1642
@phronesis1642 5 месяцев назад
Thats because there is no such thing as muscle memory. Its purely their ability to mouse control. If enough synapses have been build around certain tasks they would have no problem using any sensitivity. Ofc there are limiting factors like pixel skipping sensitivity… What i am saying is its not your muscles remembering how far you have to move you mouse to get to a certain spot but rather your brain calculating every time how far it has to move the MUSCLES. Ofc your brain is a very adaptable thing and therefore the time it takes to calculate that distance decreases with experience.

I tried this out really early into my aim training back then it was kinda just annoying to me. I've tried it once more recently and it felt the same. The randomizer removes the opportunity you get from manually changing sens to take time and focus on some specific area.

i think problem is your randomizer goes lower than your regular sens,if i play only 1x-~2x i dont feel any decreased acc

do you think, the reason you didnt see a difference was because u already have good mouse control, and that if thats the case will people that dont have good mouse benefit from it?
@PotatoBroken
@PotatoBroken 5 месяцев назад
I don't think so, I'm not a great aimer but after a while using the randomizer I got used to it, it even helps me to stay focused on what I'm doing to react well to sens changes.
@4bangerkovaaks
@4bangerkovaaks 5 месяцев назад
Usually ppl who have good mouse control see a lot bigger difference bc they can more easily adapt to sensitivities. However, all ppl all different. For some ppl it might work great and for others it won't, everyone has different experiences which makes this field difficult. But I think the majority of players are beginners and their sens isn't their primary issue.

I don't think randomizers make any sense humans are inprecise with mouse - Capcha generators use this and so there is always a room for improvement even with the same sense - I think there is a point to be made about finding the optomal sens for you and trying and switching things up until it feels right but after that it might be counter productive
@jerryyy.
@jerryyy. 5 месяцев назад
I think sticking to the same sens when training isn’t optimal tbh. Training things like speed will be more effective with a lower sense and training accuracy will be better with a higher sens (when just setting scores though you’ll probably wanna go with a low sens for things like small static dots and a higher for tracking on average as this suits the scenario better) I think in actual games there’s no problem sticking but you should switch if one day it feels off (don’t switch too much though like switching drastically every round is probably bad) as long as it feels good in game you’re ok but switching if it feels off or to focus on specific parts seems to work atleast for me this might not work for everyone but I recommend trying it, especially switching if it feels off one day or uncomfortable since there’s no point in forcing it from what I’ve experienced and heard from others

@@jerryyy. I actually have both of them at once with raw accel comfortable sensitivity for micro adjustments and if needed I can also do 180° flick without any problems
@jerryyy.
@jerryyy. 5 месяцев назад
@@MartinMlBanic that’s fair I still think it’d be better to isolate each when training sometimes but in actual games this seems really cool. I’ve also not tried raw accel much so I could be wrong. I’d love to see your graph though and give it a go bc I could never really get used to it personally
@MartinMlBanic
@MartinMlBanic 5 месяцев назад
@@jerryyy. That would be tricky unless you have a 25600 DPI mouse - You have to set the DPI of your mouse into the program to get the same result as me in case you do .. Or at least a mouse that can go 12300 or 12200 DPI as I am lowering the input by 0.4788 to get the benefits of a tiny better latency as for the graphs I can send em if you give me your discord

So do you think Matty and the other top aimers are just anomalies ? They change sens a lot don’t they
@4bangerkovaaks
@4bangerkovaaks 5 месяцев назад
Not anomalies, just that it works for some ppl and doesn't for others. If you're a person who can change sens and adapt quickly. I'm sure it has its uses. But not everyone is. Seemingly it's more apparent in naturally higher skilled ppl (Ppl who have less hours and more skill).
@jerryyy.
@jerryyy. 5 месяцев назад
I don’t really know too much tbh but personally I change it based on how I feel on the day or what I feel is weak and wanna improve on in that day so like for example if I wanna focus on speed I’ll switch to a lower sens than I’m “used to” but in Valorant for example I have a range e.g 40-80cm that I stick to but the actual sens changes based on how I feel (I don’t change it every day but if it feels off I switch it up) and that seems to work for me. I did start changing sens often when I first started playing aim trainers so that also could have something to do with it maybe? I’m not sure but from what I’ve experienced personally and what I’ve heard changing sense usually won’t have a negative effect as long as you’re in your range so if aiming feels off one day don’t hesitate to switch up the sens based on how you feel, it won’t feel the same every day and that’s ok there’s no need to worry about muscle memory or anything like that. I think the change in sense is also dictated by scenario so for example tracking heavy situations will usually have too scores using a higher sens than small static dots
