In todays aim experiment we're changing our sensitivity everyday for 2 weeks or 14 days. The point of this experiment is to see if muscle memory has a real impact on your gaming performance, we look at some aim theory and put the idea up to real experience.

I've learned and seen for myself that sens really doesn't matter once you "know your aim" one of my favorite aimers did this challenge live and there was absolutely no change in his aim, he went from 5cm all the way to 110cm and he just adapted immediately, the guy is truly gifted. Thanks for showing us this brother!

I personally feel that changing around sensitivities (especially whilst aim training) is a very beneficial practice. My personal understanding of it is that certain sensitivities will target certain muscles (similar to the gym). I believe that you will build better mouse control in your wrist if you are playing on a higher sensitivity as opposed to a lower sensitivity which may target muscles that contribute to larger movements. I do also feel that this can solve a lot of comfortability issues around certain sensitivities such as a high sens, as if you only train on a low sens your wrist and fingers will not develop the necessary precision to use a high sens properly.

There may be no scientific studies on changing sensitivity for aiming specifically but there are studies that suggest learning a motor skill is faster when the conditions are changing. I personally like to change up all kind of stuff while aim training. fps cap, screen refresh rate, mouse polling rate, mouse skates, mouse pad, the mouse itself, the visuals in the aim trainer, DPI and the sens. I feel it really helps because it prevents me from going auto pilot mode and forces me to focus. And right after switching back to my main configuration i usually do better then before and many of my high scores were done that way. Outside of aim trainers I prefer to stick to one sens though.

I think the most important part of aimtraining and that people done think of. Is that their experiences aren't always true for everybody else. There may be some common ground rules. But I've seen ppl say the opposite. No matter how much they switch or do, nothing happens. I am the same, while I felt certain aspects got better. I wouldn't say you need to do this. It was mainly an experiment for me.

I've also been doing this recently, helps me practise mouse movements I would otherwise never use. Great for building mouse control!

ive always used different sens in aim trainers on a day to day or mostly a week to week basis and its helped me a ton. when i go to a game on a sens in that game im comfortable with, my aim feels better when i aimtrain on higher and lower ones and it also helps me not think to much about sens matching across games and just using what feels fine in the game. but thats just me and idk about others

Interesting! Yes, for sure everyone has different experiences. Which is why experimentation is so important.

i think i view sensitivity more as a tool now than anything else. with that being said i dont switch sense randomly anymore. i expect a certain outcome like matching a targets speed easier or more precision in static. someone also said here that different muscle groups are trained according to sensitivity, i do believe that is true as well.

i switch them per scenario if i feel the current sensitivity is holding me back.

very good and informative video, Also what was the name of the game you were playing in the background other than cs go? is it call of duty ?

all the aim science you need is this: if you tell shroud (just a mainstream example I don't think he's the god of aiming, but he's amazing) to use a different sensitivity today he will still beat your ass so it's all about mouse control, if he changes his sens it doesn't make him a bot, he can still control the mouse amazingly, but to make it extra comfortable and tuned to his playstyle he changes it to his feel
