WOW all your 4 kids work so hard and I especially take my hat off to your lovely daughter who works really hard and does not seem to be afraid of trying everything and seems to be quite strong for a little girl. Well done guys, keep up the good work.

Wow, again, both you and Cam patiently teaching your kids. The wonderful thing is that you’re not only teaching them the task at hand, but about life, working as a team, and planning and reaching a goal. Loved Cam’s, “I love you. You make me happy.”

This was the best comment on this video. It is so important to explain the job, how it get´s done and as reward you wil get the benefits from the job. Cam did that so kind and everytime his son must get something out of the greenhouse he will be very proud of himself.

Your videos are so refreshing. Thank you for not posting everyday, or even filming everyday, thank you for not just talking with your face in the camera the whole time, but giving nice shots of you and the fam working, thank you for showing things that work and don't work, thank you for making shorter videos. I really like your style and I hope you keep it up!

One thing I noticed when you were preparing for planting at the start of the video, is how much better your soil is looking than when you planted your very first ever beds.... all that mulching and manuring is sure paying off! Love your channel - I've just been back through your playlist watching the odd few I missed. Have now watched them all. Please keep on posting!

If you mulch your carrots with straw, it is so much easier the fork it aside and get to the carrots without prying up the frozen ground. Winter carrots are the best! Even grilled with a little BBQ sauce😉 if they can be prayed out. Another tip, for watering seed trays, the pump sprayers are great and they come in qt, 1/2 gl, and a few larger sizes, some even have a shoulder sling so the weight (2-3 gl) is not so cumbersome. It makes quick work to water seedlings without the hand spasming from the action of the spray bottles. I have a few of them and the spray can be adjusted from misting to a jet, the wand ones are really nice when you have multiple rows & trays to do. I keep a couple around with just plain water, a low strength liquid fertilizer and a stronger weed tea fertilizer that is a really great mineral (micro & macro nutrients) feed foliage spray. It is so great watching your family work like living partners, each doing their part to sustain and nurture each other. Keep up the beautiful life!

Throw a straw bale … literally the whole bale , don’t break up , over the bed of carrots. Mulched and not so frozen , easy middle of winter 🥶 sowing. Maybe even throw clear plastic overtop to help with warmth??? 🤷‍♀️👍😉

I'm here in N W Arkansas. My All in one almond has flowered but died in the cold snap last year. The Hall's Hardy almond made one almond last year. I'm very encouraged. Hall's Hardy is a bitter almond so the nuts have to be processed to be edible. I just planted a couple of cold hardy Ukrainian almonds. Hopefully they will do well.

I read in a gardening book (Landscaping with Fruit by Lee Reich, I think) about planting fruit trees that bud early on the shady side of a hill. That way they will be slower to break dormancy and, hopefully, miss any late spring freezes. I thought it was helpful information, especially here in the Midwest USA where it can go from 70F one day and sleeting the next.

Love love your video. I’m getting my onions started but am having a hard time with my yellow ones germinating. I’m taking a deep breath and going to put more seeds in the tray. I am hoping to grow all winter long where I live as well. You make me look like a lazy gardener. 😄 I would enjoy watching videos of you doing some fermenting projects. I don’t do much of that. I did can some slaw from a recipe on another RU-vid channel that was fantastic. I only have 1 jar left.

If you can work the ground , it hardly matter ....better too early than too late , give time for the buried plants to settle without insect ,a big variable is the depth , too deep sound obvious but it is not for young trees and bushes , a vital factor is that they be fully winter dormant , if they still have too much sap and there is a hard frost , it's bye bye
