After her latest video about 2 hours ago, this skit makes much more sense. Your complaint has been received and you have, in fact, been opted out of periods! For a little while at least.

So glad I canceled mine several years ago. Expensive, complications, and recovery was rough. Then poof, all gone. Not for everyone, but definitely for me.

For those who wish they could turn their period off and don't know how: The Pill. Just don't take the placebo. It's not perfect - you'll still have one at least twice a year if you want to prevent occasional spotting, but they're faster, lighter, no pain and you get several months of freedom in between. Also an increased risk of blood clots and other life-threatening dangers, but the alternative (pregnancy) also has those risks, so....

Every single month the day I get my period is filled to the brim of me being so f-ing pissed off at the universe or God or just in general all men because they were somehow excluded from the universal monthly painful bleeding. Then I go on a rant to whoever is closest to me about how unfair it is and why do women need to be punished with pain for not making a baby when men can go around all their life not making babies without their bodies literally deciding to hurt them. And I'll also definitely find something to cry about, something that is such a minor inconvenience that no normal functioning person would ever cry about it. And then I get even more angry because the GODDAMN PERIOD is making me emotional and I KNOW that I'm being completely unreasonable and I can't stop it or calm down and I don't even wanna have any fricking kids right now so there's no point in any of this and it just. isn't. FAIR!

You can stop your period completely: talk to your doctor about continuous birth control, e.g. a hormonal IUD like Mirena. Some of my friends haven't had a period in 10+ years.

The timing is just perfect. I'm on my period and cursing my uterus since morning. I didn't sign up for this much pain but here I'm suffering to no end.

Ask if you can opt into the PCOS special. One time I didn’t get my period for 2 years. Currently it’s twice a year max. At my “healthiest” I get it every quarter. Unless I’m on the pill or living with two really hot guy flatmates (not joking my period came the month after moving in and was consistent for at least 6 months with additional super emotional pms that I had never experienced before)… but I dropped the pill 10 years ago and I’ve been living solo for a few years now so I’m all “no period unless you plan an all day hike then it will make an appearance just to ruin your long weekend vacation”. 👌🏻

IUD, Mamma! Keeps you from actually being a momma before you want to be, will stop your period, a single one can last7 years and you can take it out at any time when/if you want to start or expand the fam. I haven’t had one in over a decade and it. Is. GLORIOUS!!!!!
