A bad weekend camping beats a good week at work!

My wife and I have been watching your videos for ever and are so addicted to them. Please don’t stop making them. It’s like we went camping too when we watch them. Another great video. Here in Indiana my hubby and I grew up saying supper. Dinner was reserved for more formal meals like Thanksgiving Dinner, Christmas Dinner etc. Thank you for sharing and God bless!

Thanks for this week's video, Kenny. Although I haven't tried THIS myself while camping...I hope this article might be helpful to you. I found it in Google in a search topic what colors might draw horseflies. I hadn't realized also that MOTION can also draw them. I used to walk in a park reserve for exercise...and I could see the horsefly shadows on the ground catching up to me. Thanks as always for sharing your trips with us. THIS is what I found: Wear light colors. In addition to motion, deer flies and horse flies are attracted to dark colors, specifically blue, according to instructions on how to make a deer fly trap written by Russell Mizell at the University of Florida. And they don't appear to be as attracted to light colors or white.Jun 21, 2021

Thanks for bringing me along again. Great video Kenny. I use to make porcupine balls in our rv before the accident. Basically 1lb Hamburger,onions, bell peppers, cup of minute rice Worcester sauce make into small balls place in glass baking dish add 2 cans of cream of mushroom soup and bake. Mmmmm good.

What you have to do toput out a video. You really took one for the team. I can't imagine how many times you had to film it. Your supper was one of my favorites,it's what we call goulash .Thanks for the weekend.

How's the drone Kenny? Now I know what it's like to walk away from a plane crash!!! Really a nice relaxing weekend.....except for the deer-flies.....time for the Benadryl. Buffalo Gnats are my nemesis.......my hands and wrists practically double in size from the swelling...always a trip to the walk in clinic for a shot. Nothing nicer than the sound of rain on the roof. I grew up in northern Minnesota …supper is the last meal of the day and lunch is at noon!🤗

Dinner is at Noon, supper is the evening meal. Grandma had a old fashioned "dinner bell" on a post.....could hear it 1/2 a mile away. Plus Sunday Dinner (noon) was "THE" meal of the week, she really knew how to cook! Country women are the best cooks. Sunday Supper was whatever you found.......if hungry.

As someone from the u p , I totally understand about backwoods insect attacks. Just a reminder that insect foggers cannot be used around open water. There is simply no way to apply the fog safely in those areas. The chemical in the black flag fogger isn't some nature friendly deal, it is an aggressive killer, Thus the caution.

Here in england where i live we say...breakfast, dinner, tea and supper. Yes the last meal of the day. My mum called it supper also...we call lunch 'dinner time'...though its just usually a light meal as would be falling asleep at work😂...another fab video..thankyou. i really enjoy the peacefulness ❤

Hello Kenny - work has taken me away for the past 5 weeks. It's nice to be home and enjoying my normal routine (your Tuesday video). I noticed that you extended your slide prior to leveling the camper. On my Lance the manufacturer recommends the camper be level prior to extending the slide. The reason is that extending the Jack's could cause a twist or bow on the camper frame and having the slide wall in will reduce the flex..........this is just some FYI based on what I learned from my Lance. As always, thanks for taking me along on your camping adventure....Bryan

Hey Kenny, I have been watching your videos for a good while now. Little too cold to camp yet for the wife here in Montana. But I really enjoy your experiences. I love the fall colors and being originally from Penna, we kinda miss those here in Montana. But I have to say, we have our bugs here and a few ticks, but I'm afraid they would drive me crazy, like they are in Penn too. We can sit on our back porch all summer and see maybe a couple mosquitoes a week there. But, especially when we camp at Price Creek, high in the Pioneer Mts, I never fail to thank the Lord for allowing us to be able to do this.Keep up the good work, Kenny..Norm

There's a couple small screws you could've taken out and slid the side rafter out of the main arm but I guess if you're scrapping the awning anyhow I guess it doesn't matter if you cut it off. Always peaceful camping in the rain.

Better man than me, the negative would be showing! Deer flies, Rain and stuck inside, broke awning, and crashed the drone. At this point I would be blaming the deer flies, and visiting them with a flame thrower! LOL, as always good video.

I do breakfast, lunch, dinner, & snack at end. And I'm a Yankee, so that's what I taught. Deer flies r a mess; I could see them in the video when u were biking. Last night we got heavy rain, hail at times, wind around 15-20 miles per hour., thunder & lightning too. Safe travels back home.

I can't believe you haven't torn one of your slide seals. I ripped one of mine. Because I didn't level it first before putting the slide out. Plus now I let the slide out a little and check the gap on both sides first take sure they are about the same.

A lot of times if your on a lake, the fishing picks up for the first few hours, when rain starts. I bring rain gear.

Bugs and flies.. Around here we have a no fly zone. The area that the coastal fog reaches. It's like drawing a line in the sand. Above the line, millions of bugs. Below the line, nothing. Camping up on the ridge, I have watched a deerfly land on my friends forehead and take a little triangular. bloody bite out of him. Right between his eyes...

A note for any outdoors ppl. The plant/weed called plantain the broad leafed plant that plaques your yard. Is actually a natural medicine... for bug bites you can wash the leaf. Chew it up to make a mash , then apply the mash to the bug bites.... yep also works for minor cuts and scrapes... good luck and get into the woods. Be honest and be kind...

I get to try out my truck camper (1st time) roll out Sat morning to a spot on the Mississippi north of St Cloud..gonna stay 4 days on the river relaxing. While putting up popup (it's a 30 yr old Palamino) it slipped inside the gears and almost cracked my head..hit my hubs head but I ducked faster..poor guy.😢 so after a few cus words he made a metal bracket to act as a stopper lock inside the crank handle so it can't slip back..that thing is HEAVY and scary when it comes down 😮..I tried to find info on help with these but no luck. When we sell our 34ft big Rv then we will sell this popup and find a nice hard shell truck camper like yours. I bought it mainly for horse camping but not impressed with this popup top. 😕 I feel like an idiot trying to figure it out..😂. I loved you MN supper idea!!! Very nummy and healthy for a rainy weekend. My grandma told me years ago that the farming community in MN called "Dinner" the noon meal. Farmers work morning and evenings milking so their big meal at noon is called DINNER ( non farmers call lunch) then a small meal in evening was called supper..in swedish language it was called "sup"...that's funny cuz I asked grandma the same question you did! 😊..Those darn deer Flys are brutal!! I felt bad seeing you get attacked so bad. They go after my horses, too. Keep those citronella candles and torches burning. We sit on our porch in the evenings with citronella burning always or couldnt be out. We have a creek and pond behind house and woods with pasture here, so bugs can carry you away here! I believe that dinner is the larger of the two meals whether that’s at lunch time or supper time.

In NY in the Adirondack mountains they have Black flys from mothers day to fathers day and these very small flys can bite thru clothes . I tried to go on a 3 mile hike and only made it one mile and had to turn back and run as fast as i could. They will bite your ears , noise and legs non stop

According to my mom: dinner is between 3 and 6, supper is anything after 6 ! That was according to her grandma. But its only on Saturdays and Sunday, when her grandma was growing up !
