People think that Chael did testosterone to get an advantage, they're wrong, Chael's body cells are made of 100% testosterone so he simply had to consume it as his primary food source so the largest arms in West Linn Oregon weren't dehydrated of their power source.
Uncle Chael is a steroid cheat . No excuses . But at least he owns it and admit it which I can at least respect . Unlike a certain other fighter who is still lying out his ass till this day .
No bro Chaels t levels were naturally off the charts, beyond the allowable threshold so chael was having to take T blockers to get within range, but unfortunately miscalculated the dosage and failed his test and got flagged for taking T blockers
@@Zizoujr11 I still can't believe it took the ufc so long to move him up to lhw we could've seen so many good fights with rumble in his prime and at 205
@@rezabeast1722 I mean it's kind of his fault too. He was obviously looking for a advantage. The ufc just needs some kind of hydration test or something of that sorts to clamp down on extreme weight cuts
Remember when Tibau was above 220 for lightweight once. Weight cutting is a scary animal. It also makes someone like Hollaway look like a fucking monster, being able to cut down from 180 and still have probably the best gastank in the UFC.
I would like to try it, the whole UFC routine, I can fast pretty easily 20-24h, I love the sauna, but would be interesting to do it in a like "professional way" supervised ofc. I never had to " cut weight" like the professionals or wrestlers do it always competed the weight I was
I experienced something similar. I was trying to cut 7lbs for a bjj tournament. I’ve always be great at skipping meals and eating once a day. Grew up poor so had lots of practice lol. But when I decided I was going to cut weight and diet, all of a sudden I had this crazy hunger all the time. Soon as the tournament ends the hunger went away with it and I’m back to never really being hungry
Chael, you can make any story great. You should start making up stories and make them funny and interesting. Maybe a new channel called “story time with uncle chael” 😂. I’d be hooked.
Hey can anyone explain the process for the weight cut? I understand soaking in the salt but what do you do with the green rubbing alcohol and the other product he mentioned? How are they used in conjunction with the salt. Thanks guys!
Finally Chael mentioned the weightlifters. Weightlifters have to have the best cutting techniques espiecally since performance is #1 and maintaining muscle while cutting is super hard compared to cutting for MMA.
In high school one time I sucked weight from 135 to 112. First minute I was as dominant as I'd ever been in a match. Then my limbs refused to move, didn't hurt, just couldn't move.
I knew a wrestler once that went to bed in a trash bag one evening and his wife put him out with the garbage next morning by accident. If it hadn't been for the trash compactor he never would have made weight.
Epsom salt pulls water from your body. Your body is over 70 percent water. So it pulls out that water weight. Think about it. You submerge yourself in water that is around 103 degrees. Like being in a sauna. You're going to sweat out water. Plus the salt pulls out even more water.
Any of you other wrestlers 🤼♀️ shocked that chael didn’t know how much you lose by laying in a hot bath and he’s been wrestling since a kid D1 team quest etc . we learned that in USA wrestling as kids. It sucks and you’re thirsty as hell possibly light headed after an hour or two but it works. I like it better than suana .... I rather be soup than steamed/roasted dry hot air going through your lungs 🫁 not a fan.
