welp you can forget about tbs doing anything with hdz or anyone else for that matter. They like to fully control everything they touch and they flat out that they are even less interested in hdz now that it's open source

@@jlarson42 from what i know of hdz rush is free do take the tech and do whatever they want with it, it's a similar model to analogue anyone can make goggles vtx's etc they just have to get the main chip from divimath and support will be given to them. but its an uphill battle because the system doesn't work or look like dji, which actually isn't a negative but the internet has chosen to view it as one.

@@tubsucks yeah. So far the big advantage of HD zero is there are small vtx's. Great for racers and micros.

@@jlarson42 yes that's one area it can do very well in, however racers don't seem to feel too compelled to switch. Micros will definitely see the benefit in clarity. I think where Hdz will do very will is in the goggle. What is proposed for them is so good that I think the company can do very well just selling those alone. Analog pilots racers etc will love what they can do and may feel switching to that set of goggle might be a good upgrade for them. Having it already have hdz built in will just be a bonus for them and they may get curious and buy a vtx cam combo to check it out. After flying that for a bit they may feel like they want more of them for their other machines

Throw a 1w rdq vtx ($30) on that baby and it'll penetrate.

I wouldn't say I approve of it, there's alot more to video system then just video quality. This video is only showing my experiences.

Yes but don't forget the new DJI goggles 2.0 and its system they will release soon.. they have made the next generation and as we have seen before, fatsnail will just try to keep up with the new dji system.

I wish walksnail had even 10% of the recources DJI has to pish the hobby forward.

Ok, play along with me here.... You are an engineer. You invent something you think is really gonna revolutionize the FPV hobby. You've put in thousands upon thousands of hours developing this new technology, perfecting it, fixing bugs, getting it better and better with each new introduction of firmware. You also sunk thousands and thousands of your own money into this new tech you invented. It's awesome and different and potentially better than anything ever before in FPV. And, you will now give it away as open source so ANYONE CAN USE your new tech, with all of your money used to develop it, and it's free for anyone to use and make their own products with. They will sell them against your own products. Several manufacturers will use your tech to make products that use your tech and are now lower priced than your products. How is this EVER, in your mind, gonna happen? It makes no sense unless you are a huge software giant and are going against another company trying to take over the cell phone market. i.e. Android. For most markets, especially the very small niche market called FPV, this Open Source idea makes no sense from an inventors stand point! They will be giving away their tech, they spent hours and hours and thousands upon thousands to develop! YOU ARE DREAMING! HDZero, Carl, is never gonna give away his main tech, so others can compete WITH HIM! He's got too much invested in it! It's not logical to think this will happen! Would you do it? HELL NO! Well, Carl has said before, he won't be giving away his main tech for HDZero. Don't expect it - it's a TERRIBLE marketing decision. Forget about buying from an Open Source company making digital FPV! It's not gonna happen! The market is too niche and too small in size for it to be logical to give away tech that's gonna have such a small group that will buy it in the first place. Carl would be a complete and utter IDIOT to give his great tech away! FORGET THIS WILL HAPPEN - IT WON'T! He's said it. 🤷‍♂🙄

@@jmcjmc5587 No, you cannot. And, Carl has said he had too much time and a shit load of his own money in HDZero, and he is not giving it away. Maybe he'll make tech for receivers available, who knows, but not his main tech in the Goggles. He's stupid to do that. Think about it... 🤔👍

@@BOTGRINDER then all I can say is: wow! I heard phantom saying he is seing some breakage but I couldnt see it in the video. DVR must have filtered it or something or it was to small to notice it by just watching not flying.

@@dax4812 I did notice it wasnt really showing the lag in the dvr if you look real close you can see it but its very minimal at this range.
