Using plastic bags over the foam helps with the cover fitment.. you can remove the plastic once fitted..

My Dad bought a 64 1/2 back in 1978. Straight 6 and a 3 speed manual, and I didn't want it. (Wanted a fast car) The seats were shot in it back then. Yours turned out amazing!!!

I did this to my '91when i converted it fom red to black interior and it is a LOT of work, but completely worth it. I squeezed so many hog rings that for two days I could barely hold a beer.

Small zip ties work just as well as hog rings and it is WAY easier than hog rings.

My uncle pat is a seamstress..he makes a fortune doing it..he does boat interior and boat tops car interior and has done a few convertible car tops..he does some awsome work..even puts designs in.
