Thought I’d return with a bit of a wholesome week of footy in England. Got some really great plans for the rest of the season across Europe. Thank you everyone who remembers i exist, it truly means the absolute world.
I’m super happy that your back! You have to sometimes take a break and reflect on life and possibly heal to really enjoy what you do ❤. Looking forward to all your future content.
How could we forget the wonderful StuntPegg?! Keep doing your own thing, you're so talented. Don't worry about how often you upload. It's quality over quantity! 😄👍
@@timbayliss4153 hey Tim, I’ve found like many geographical based rivalries in English football, Yorkshire and Lancashire folk tend to share very similar values and warmth, but it’s definitely something that becomes the focal point of a match day when a Yorkshire and Lancashire team play one another, but I wouldn’t say it’s particularly hostile compared to individual town/city derbies.
It's about time Sky employed Nieve she knocks the spots off the majority of reporters & she'll smash it with her personality & game knowledge! Keep going SP xx
@@marilyncatterall402 and Northern Premier League Premier Division, Southern League Premier Division Central, Southern League Premier Division South and Isthmian League Premier Division are professional too..
"People give everything that they haven't got, just get to one visit to this place" Such true words. I'm an American West Ham supporter. It breaks my heart that I have never got to see them at the Boleyn Ground. That and my family cannot afford the time or the money to hop the pond to see a game at the London Stadium. If there's ever an opportunity, I want to see the Hammers play. Thank you so much for your videos! You always show the fan perspective so well, and I hope players appreciate how much we give time, energy, and money we don't have to support them
I love the connection you have to Rochdale. Living in the states, (Cleveland OH), my only connection to them is using them as my first Fifa career mode youth save a few years back after researching “biggest underdogs in English football”. Thanks to that google search I fell in love with the blue/black stripes of Rochdale AFC and they remind me a lot of my Cleveland American sports teams that also don’t win much 😅 at least the legend Hendo broke the goal scoring record on his return home. Sad to see them go down 😢
I just stumbled across your channel and I’m immediately so captivated. There’s such an emotional range in each video I’ve watched, it’s really something special. I get glassy eyed in some bits and will be smiling like an idiot later. I love your style of editing and how you let a lot of moments speak for themselves, it feels like a breath of fresh air and completely from the heart. People who have no relationship to football have asked me before why it means so much to me and I’ve never really been able to describe it properly, but from now on I think I would just show them your videos!
Just found this channel tonight and well, I'm going to watch so many of these videos. Absolutely love it!! Not sure if you have ever been to any MLS (American) games but check out Philadelphia Union, they're my team and they're one of the best stadiums/atmosphere in MLS!
Thank you so much! And cheers for the recommendation, I’m currently saving up to visit the MLS, I’ll make sure to try and watch Philadelphia Union if I do!
Brilliant - My Dad and sis are Rochdale through and through, from Somerset they made the trek up north on Saturday. I can see them in this vid in fact! Like you said, they'll be there next season in the National League supporting the Dale ❤
Just found your Channel recently and - hey - thank you for the incredibly honest and heartwarming documentaries you do. You have great talent in story telling. If you ever come over to Germany, make sure you do a piece on Holstein Kiel (with certainly one of the strangest grounds over here) ;).
Living well across the pond, in California, I absolutely appreciate and enjoy your videos showcasing the football I was born and raised to love. When I was in the Navy I had the privilege of visiting England and attending a match featuring my beloved Arsenal. The atmosphere inside the ground was incredible. The pageantry, the noise, the songs from the terraces, the lush green of the pitch and the pearl white of the touchline all combined to create an experience I will not soon forget. It solidified my passion for football. I can sense that same excitement through your videos and excellent coverage of the matches you attend. Thank you for posting and providing such great commentary. Long live football and the harmony among us supporters who unite in our love of the world's most beautiful game.
Just came across this video and gotta say you do a great job. Easily better than most sports reporters on Tv. Your passion, knowledge and enthusiasm shine through. Excellent work.
Your passion for the game is infectious! Great work on these videos, has a professional feel and your camera work really captures the liveliness of the home crowds
@@stuntpeggnieve if the pies are delicious they must be eaten . ground hopping is a sensible and fun way of working off the calories . great video as always .
Great video Nieve, welcome back! That's what make english football great, people support their teams depite being rock bottom in the lower leagues, while in Italy they support A.C. Milan, Inter, Juventus and the stadiums in the serie C are empty
Typical bandwagon fans that only support the top teams instead of their actual teams because they're not I'm the top league I'm a luton town supporter and despite them getting relegated to the championship (second division) I'm still going to support them next season
I really really really appreciate the camera angles and your patience as a filmmaker. Really great insight, top content here. As a football fan and a people fan, thank you!
You do a great job. From the heart and you sum up everything we love and don’t love about The Beautiful Game. It’s the supporters who make it what it is but the big money deals for broadcasting rights have lost sight of that. If you get a chance and you’re down south next season, go to Selhurst Park. Cracking atmosphere and great supporters! Keep up the great job!
Love the video Nieve. It’s great to see and hear you again. I went to the Huddersfield Stadium sometime ago but was to watch a Rugby League match. Huddersfield Giants v London Broncos. You have been missed a lot. Welcome back!!! Dave
Hi, I saw you recording at the Rochdale game, and assumed you must at some stage be uploading a video here. It didn’t take long to find you, thankfully. I was in the same end, but trying my utmost to not give myself away as a City fan! 😂 Great video. 👍🏻
I'm doing the 92 club (71 current grounds done so far) and it's fascinating seeing the spectrum of grounds we have in our professional leagues. Emirates is still the best I've been to and the worst had to be Oldham's Boundary Park.
When I was at school (many years ago) a football scout attached to Huddersfield used to regularly watch our school teams, looking for players. (None were chosen). I had absolutely no idea where Huddersfield was. I thought it was near Scotland.
I’m a new subscriber, your vlogs are brilliant. It’s been great to see you live football through the eyes of other fans teams but it was especially awesome to see you sweat your Bolton match. There was a completely different expression on your face when they scored and apparently gave up a late equalizer. More Bolton games please 🙏
Its fun to see your genuine, true excitement when watching Bolton. Its just something else for you, and that is so relatable. There is always that one team that gets under your skin.
What a great video. Thoughtful, kind, decent and a real feeling of how the football fan feels about their club My team Brighton are currently riding high but we also remember where we came from
Thank you Richard! I visited Brighton in December, what a lovely place and such warm people. Really chuffed to see all your success and attractive football, it’s very much deserved!
congratulations on this superb video, it's great to have you back, as i am from australia i would love to see you react to our own form of football, australian rules football, afl.
