"He's not going to eat *your father."* Just the way America Ferrera delivers the line is hysterical, as if Astrid *really did believe Hiccup was going to get eaten by his own dragon in front of their children.*

Hiccup's monologue at the end is essentially straight up taken from the beginning of the first book, so those of us who read it basically knew this was coming but it still hurt 😭

I’ve only seen this movie twice because I always cry at the ending. This movie is very special to me because it’s the first movie I saw in theaters.

Its the whispers of surprise and pure joy in realizing both Toothless and Burp had families for me. Lol I love the movie ending because all the kids look so cute.

I cannot physically make myself watch this movie anymore (since watching it at the theaters for the first time) because the ending is so painful for me. I'm only left with my memories and watching any movie commentaries of this :)

This ending always makes me cry. It’s so bittersweet to let the dragons go, and then to see the reunion?? 10/10 perfect movie no complaints

I loved almost everything about it this film. The way they wrap up the franchise is so heartwarming and emotional. The action is very entertaining, especially since the animation makes it look stunning. The characters are also really enjoyable. Even though not all of them are that useful, they still have their moments. My biggest issue is that the Hidden World, despite being in the title, only appears for a few minutes. I was kinda disappointed by that. Other than that, there isn’t really anything wrong with this movie.

One of my favorite lines in this movie is when Hiccup says "We don't deserve you....yet." The emphasis on the yet part makes me think that even though humans can be absolutely horrible people, there's still a chance that we can learn from our mistakes and make a better world. By the way, another dragon movie you should check out is Dragonheart 1996. I watched it when I was younger and it still sticks with me today. I think you'd really enjoy it.

9:57 The part where Hiccup says "We've dealt with his kind before.." He's NOT referring to Drago in the last movie, he's referring to an enemy he encountered in the TV Series 👍🤟 ( I wont spoil anything though 😁) you'll just have to watch it for yourself .

the fact that you did not even shed a tear throughout this whole series, especially the second and third movie, will never cease to amaze me

Past the movie series, the Dragons Riders of Berk and Race to the Edge series was honestly amazing too. The piece together the time between the 1st movie and the 2nd movie almost perfectly. Plus they’re super fun to watch!

I love when movies wrap up everything nicely with a bow and this one did an amazing job with this one!

I can’t say I have a favorite out of the 3… it’s honestly just one long beautiful story broken into 3 parts ❤️ Hiccups character growth is amazing

All three movies are fantastic, it's a great trilogy! I saw the 1st movie with my boyfriend (he is my husband now) in theaters to celebrate our 1st year anniversary as a couple back in 2010. I saw the 3rd movie in theaters with my bridesmaids back in 2019 for my bachelorette party just a couple days before the wedding. I still remember my bridesmaids giving me a look/smile in the theaters when Astrid and Hiccup got married and had kids, it was the perfect ending. Man, Billy I've been sick the past couple days. Woke up today realizing I hadn't eaten or had water in almost 48 hours. Thought to myself Billy would be so disappointed! Haha. Now that I'm feeling better I've been pounding water water water! Sloshy.

BILLY... 😭 I haven't even gotten past the intro and I'm crying... that shirt is amazing - Tommy was my all time favorite, and I'm still not over losing JDF (who played Tommy). This whole trilogy is amazing, but I've got to agree the 3rd is my favorite too! The end always gets me - especially the part where Hiccup does the hand on Toothless in reverse... but the full circle at the end is the cherry on top, so completely perfect. One moment that I love that you just barely missed is when Hiccup shows his trust in the Light Fury and his love for Toothless by letting her go and saying: "Save him." UGH. Just so dang good! The soundtrack, voices, animation, story... this series is *incredible* and I'm so glad you brought us on the ride with you!

Love the fact that we do get to see the Viking wedding, but glad they don't show us the entire thing.

I love the way they close it off in a way that could explain it as a true story, telling us that dragons do exist but are just hidden. It makes it so much easier to really buy into the whole world of it all

I ugly cried when i watched this movie, as i felt that i had grown along hiccup and toothless and then we were all saying goodbye. The first movie... i was like 12? I was 16 when the second came out, and just as Hiccup, i felt so lost at that time. For the third i was 20/21 and it felt like closing a huge chapter in the most beautiful way.

This one had me bawling. They really hit with these movies. Perfect!

Toothless' dance when he was trying to woo his mate cracks me up every time. Every time they fly off into the sunset, I get all emotional. Hiccup went from a kid who couldn't do anything to the chief of his people. Toothless went from being alone to being the guardian of the hidden world. Not every relationship is meant to last forever, even important ones. The fact that time couldn't dilute their friendship makes it feel like they ended the series on a positive and poignant note. Had a blast watching your reactions to the HtTYD movies. Have you seen #bingers The Road to El Dorado? It's really fun with all kinds of nods to the adults in the audience.

This one out of all of them get's me the most emotional everytime and beautiful end, had me crying in the theater.

Another thing that people don't catch in this movie is when he tells toothless to go as he removes his hand on toothless head that is also called back to when they first connected because he puts his hand on his head it is to call back showing how things are undoing by showing that scene basically in reverse

When you got no idea how much I cried during the end of this movie in theaters. I knew based off the trailers they were gonna go their own way.
