And if your lead actors don’t even want your movie to be made, clearly it’s a soulless production.

Ok but her thinking she’s the “poor girl” (even with going to a private school, living in that house etc) is so accurate to how many private school kids who aren’t exorbantly and evidently wealthy (think designer on the regular, multiple homes etc.) - but still well off - act and think about themselves. Because in “their world” there at the lower end of the socioeconomic spectrum but like... obviously not in the larger context... which just comes down to unawareness of the real world LOL. Source: I spent basically my whole life in various private schools.

The thing that annoys me the most about this is the way they treated college. Like it was very easy to get into HARVARD and that Elle didn’t have the funds. She went to a private school the same school as Noah and Lee, she’d have money from her mom, and the “your brother needs to go to school excuse too” when he was like 12!? If they could afford an expensive school in California the problem should’ve been getting in not the I can’t afford it story line.

Not only is Lee’s confession over the intercom embarrassing, but the whole overly public confession/proposal is just kind of bleh to me? Because all the attention and smiling faces is a lot of pressure and slightly anxiety inducing, so it just pushes the person to react how all those people expect them to react (saying yes to marriage, accepting the love confession, etc.).

I just find it really annoying when the main character get cheated on and everyone comforts her, but if the main character cheats people dismiss it like it’s nothing :(

Both Lee and Elle made the same exact mistakes as in the first movie (lying and hiding stuff) there's literally no character development. They never fix their problems and everything is just resolved by the really big public display of affection at the end of the movie. They keep getting rewarded for bad behavior and it's annoying. Chloe and Rachel deserved so much better smh.

She should've dumped him a long time ago, no discussion. 3. Noah definitely crossed some lines even though he didn't technically cheat. 4. Lee and Elle's friendship is toxic and creepy. 5. Marco was used and played by Elle and he said thanks 😊 plus they couldn't have casted someone who didn't look exactly like Noah? 6. She didn't even apologize to Noah for CHEATING, instead HE apologized to HER and said I love you like what? 7. She's literally the worst character ever yet she wins the $50,000, gets both guys, and gets into UC Berkeley AND FUCKING HARVARD?! 8. All of the "romance" in the movie was soooo cringy and forced. 9. The message this movie sends to the audience is horrible. Dont communicate, lie, cheat, cock block, and lead guys on and all your dreams will come true 😌 10. And beyond all that the acting and script were just awful. Its too bad cuz Joey was great in The Act and Jacob is great in Euphoria. I can literally keep going but i think 10 is a good number. I might be in the minority but i'm was glad they didn't make chloe lesbian, only becuz I liked that it shows guys can have a girl just as a friend that they didn't know their whole life. I feel it would have been oh of course noah can have a beautiful, confident and interesting female best friend but only if she's lesbian because hot guys and hot girls can never be really friends. Granted I think they were being a biiit too touchy feely for friends and her being lesbian would have excused that by saying oh there's no hidden intention behind it so it's ok. At the same time I don't like that it would have said the only way girls can be friends with guys with girlfriends is if they are lesbian.
