Honestly this is on of the best deck lists I've seen for Sakazuki. I love that you have the 1 of Navy HQ. It was my secret tech since I built the deck. I didn't consider the Ulti's and now that I see what they represent I will have to remove 2 from my Bluffy deck for Sakazuki. Not a big issue as I was looking to replace it with Sogeking and 4c Blue Luffy anyway.
Everyone at my locals told me the stage was a dumb card until I explained it the way you did here and now I see it a lot more. Glad someone else said it. Absolutely love the ulti. Still hate kuzan but may consider. I'm tired of going x-1 every week😂
Nah if you want perfect symphony what i do is open the sim look at my deck pick yellow open a movie on the second monitor throw my chair back make a coffee mid game and wait for the triggers 😂
@@Kingofcardboard229 yup exactly came to this game from Yu-Gi-Oh which I thought was unfair but at least they release ban lists to relevant cards even if they are "popular"
@@kreedartz3005 id love to agree with this take but as a yellow player i cannot most if not all the triggers are pretty broken in most situations either filtering and adding cards searching cards straight up free 5 k bodies free blockers kos or stop a attack all from taking a life feels way to strong and unfair advantage giving me essentially so much more don value than playing any other deck i honestly feel bad for saka players late game i just have all these free bodies on board plus on my turn slamming high cost characters gaining lifes returning my triggers back to life i end games with like 10 in hand and my opponent uses 3-4 cards to bottom deck one of my bodies then i just play another from all the free searches and card advantage i get early game. and because attacking life is the only way to win realistcally im almost guaranteed a multiple game changing triggers and watch as my opponent loses his mind knowing there is no optimal counterplay.
Glad to see Navy HQ showing up, I've been playing it from release of Sakazuki and it's been so helpful. It felt like a little secret that I always had up my sleeve lol
I also play 1 10 cost Kuzan with one draw 4 Kaido. The huge level of removal potential with Kuzan lets me save a lot of resources which is really helpful and typically let's me stay safe enough to play Kaido.
Im glad someone else is running Ulti, I felt like this deck needed more removal, all this cost reduction but removal is limited to Lucci, Hound Blaze, and 7c Borsalino. Made no sense to me. I tried utilizing Koby because he's searchable but the fact that Ulti can remove per attack is a gamechanger. How do you feel about Vergo over Barto since he's a searchable 2+?
Great video. Good list, pretty close to my own. A few questions if you have the time: Have you tested Red Roc? I play it at two and it's a good one card answer for 10 lin and other high cost (My meta has a lot of 10 drop rush luffy) Do you not find Ulti too squishy? I had it in for a few weeks, but she kept eating removal. I'm currently on 2 Mihawk in that slot. Are you happy at 8 blockers? Much like 2ks, I hate having less than 10. Cheers. Thank you. Yeah bro for sure I actually went through a red rock and 3k worlds phase but I got out of that really quick because they kept bricking for me. I’m open to going back if the meta shifts
This Ulti is so squishy as there is a tonne of removals on the meta. Obviously in the mirror it is an easy pick for your opponent. Against yellow it is a sweet target for Gedatsu. Purple - Paulie. Blue Hina at least gives you a value when played.
It forces pressure and people to burn removal early due to the threat of bottom decking from a low cost character. In mid game once blockers are set up if opponent does not have sufficient removal it tears up board.
I'm VERY new to saka coming from Zephyr & the build on the sim i'm playing is actually the same I have 1 ulti 1 ice age 4 blocker borsalino but yeah pretty much the same
Have you thought about switching kuzan out for the blue ulti 4 cost. Been trying it and the difference it makes is insane. More counter in the deck and even if it gets popped right away like kuzan you already stacked too
Interesting techs.The double ulti scares me to see for every matchup thats not Pluffy or early yellow, possibly in a meta with more mirror matches Id take it out for blue hina. Have you ever thought of Toy soldier instead of Barto Blocker for your 2k? Also what are your thoughts on a 1 of koby?Ive recently added it and it has saved me sooo many games, although admittedly its not good into Magellan spam. Very Unique list!
For me barto is more valuable then toy soldier cause you can get an extra blocker on the field and if it's really needed you can get it back with rebecca or mansherry.
Took this list to my locals tonight, and got completely destroyed. First game I saw none of my rob Lucci, round 2 I didn't see any of my hound blazes, round 3 I drew all 10 2k counters withing my first 3 turns/from life and top decks, and forth round I didn't see any 2ks. The deck feels so inconsistent which makes no sense, because I think the list is clean. Perhaps I just had some AWFUL luck, but it was a humbling experience tonight
Damn I’m so sorry you had that experience. I mean when I say truly I have had the complete opposite. Try power shuffling every round. That’s what I do to remain consistent
@@Ra_views Yeah but successive ones is just completely oppressive. One would be fine. But getting to ramp into correct curve or above it just to keep doing it and every color not blue having an out is stupid.
