The front clip on that thing is off a 2003-2008. There was a facelift in 2008 with different bumper, grill, headlights. Shes obviously been wrecked in the front and repaired with the earlier prefacelift parts.

Having been the mechanic on a friends 08 Quattro porte GT executive he had the same skyhook code. Looking at the missing panels in the wheel well liners on your car you might want to check before anything else on the suspension to see if the wires that go to each shock absorber if they are both connected, and/or if the wire itself is cut or broken, that’s not uncommon. There is a lot of information on the suspension online, but try the simple stuff first. You’ll want to keep a patient attitude with them that’s what works with Maseratis iPhone, the tea PMS you have to fill up the tires and then sync them up and then drive the car and it takes about two or 3 miles for them to go out you also have to keep constant I on the tire pressure. If they still don’t go out, the batteries are dead in the wheel sensors. For the noisy engine my understanding is that the cam sensors and hydraulic advance units are not that hard to take care of when the suspension goes out. It will ride super hard when it’s working that car handles amazingly tight The trunk issue why it won’t open from the back is because the little pressure switch in the trunk lid is either broken or the wiring has a problem. It is a really good car just give it a chance and tend to different things on it. Shop around and see where you can find some deals on parts Please please don’t straight pipe it! When you get it running right, it has the sweetest sound with the stock exhaust and it runs very very well and it’s got tons of power. Please don’t straight pipe it

If you want a car you can wrench on that is absolutely stunning to look at, is reasonably priced and parts are acceptable priced the Maserati is absolutely a great buy. Once you fixed it quirks You will have a great car that probably will raise in value quite considerably .

If there aren't at least 7 videos in that Maserati I'll be surprised and every one heavily watched as well. I wonder how many parts are crossed over to Chrysler. Years ago we would have gone down to the Library and looked at the Hollanders book and cross referenced the parts to see what would fit the need. Catalytic converter is stopped up when they smell like that! I’ve had 2! Also do a full tune up and new converters and if it’s better, have the drivers seat recovered and the B piller!

It's been in a front end collision. It's clearly obvious. It has the wrong bumper, headlights and grille. The front on it is from the 2005-2008 models.

I went to conway Arkansas a few years I saw people towing like three cars from auction together it was crazy to see .please film them doing that one day

I like it. Always start with fresh gas and fuel treatment. Then go from there and make sure the battery or batteries if it has a second one are all fully charged. The front end shouldn't be that bad of a fux. These are are good when treated right.

That Maserati was drove hard put away wet. Sure it needs a lot of maintenance. Definitely good for the channel but Ferrari parts are scary part definitely get some good views in my opinion. Good luck man stay blessed!!

30:07 - I think it has the wrong front clip from an older pre-facelift Quattroporte (grill, headlights and probably the bumper). But I'm excited to see it running good again, that engine it's gonna sing its proper melody!

I'm sure the new gas helped some. From what I have seen, that sulfur smell = bad catalytic converter Looking forward to future content.

Looks like you probably have a timing issue. The first fault you cleared, Cam/Crank correlation, along with all the misfires makes that a pretty likely scenario. Try to find the readouts for the cam, crank, and some timing values. Otherwise you'll have to tear down a bit to at least see the cam marks.

Reminds of one from the the early days, misfire all over the place, fresh gas, drove for awhile, and it ran much better. The white Pontiac Nick helped you with? Banged out the radiator support? Sure have come a long way since those days!
