TOTALLY AGREE! With what was on the line and a HAD to HAVE it- and then not one but TWO shots into trouble??? (I know a bunker- but one of the most difficult shots and to get close on top????) This 100% ranks among the top last hole finishes ever. We witnessed a “moment” on Sunday…and we will only know that as more time passes.

Bryson I am 12 years old my name is Tate Kirkham, and you are my favorite golfer ever! I love your unique style of play with your putter to your irons having the same shaft and length. I have watched so many documentaries about you and how you have learned to play golf! When I first heard about the book you got on physics with golf it inspired me to think out side the box and try new things with my swing with my clubs, reading greens and how to figure out there is more ways to get the ball in the hole! I LOVE your videos so much and hope you keep making more, when I grow up and go on the PGA or Liv golf I want them to know that I woudn't be there without you! My son is 15 and has autism three things he love school playing golf 16 hcp and loves watching you either on LIV or RU-vid We live in Australia he got up in the middle of the night to watch you play. I was a kid during the Jack and Arnie Days. I have to tell you that I've been playing golf since then, and still love the game. I've been a RU-vid golf watcher for a few years. I love the fact that you are the greatest at letting all the Yt golf channels greats take a shot at ridiculous challenges and you always have so much fun. Watched every shot every day. That shot under the magnolia tree next to the root was unreal. Up and down to win with Payne on one shoulder and you Dad on the other. You are what professional golf needs! Congratulations!
B.A.D. you didn't only win a championship, you won the hearts of many people. It's so rare to see a champion and a superstar actually go out and interact with the fans. So many winners say "thanks, etc etc" but you went out and really gave them love. You stayed around until the last autograph was signed, and the last picture was took. That isn't faking it. That's what a true human being is all about. That makes you a real champion in my mind. I love your RU-vid channel. One of my favorites.

You can hear me yell mashed potatoes after his tee shot on hole 2. Absolutely loved following you and rory around the course watching the both of you go back and forth all day battling it out. It was absolutely special. Then you held true to your word to all the fans still there at 9 at night asking the fans to please not leave and youll be back after another interview to sign autographs for everyone and take all the pictures. Just an all around great person and class act! Definitely one of my favorite golfers. So entertaining to watch and truly just a man for the fans. Absolutely great for golf. Congratulations on a very well earned and hard fought battle. And that up and down on 18 is one of the most clutch and amazing shots in all of golf! I was in awe with the pressure of that moment and that shot for you to be that unfazed to pull that off is absolutely incredible. Just wanted to say you inspire my 5 year old more than you can imagine. He eats his protein because he wants to hit long drives like you and now imitates your putting style. Tiger never made it fun. Fairway, green, holed and on and on. There was a boring inevitability. This WAS fun. He kept hitting it in the crap and getting away with it. Most guys are shooting +5 with that set of tee shots. Nerveless...
This would have been boring, too, if Rory didnt battle back. Watching Tiger was just watching a bunch of guys quit. They would fall back a stroke on a par, then make another error and take no more chances coming in.
The galleries are loving you not only for the showmanship, but because it's become evident that the passion is so sincere and that the engagement with the gallery isn't forced. I was pulling hard for you, just as I was at the PGA. I'm so happy for you not only for the win, but also because more and more people are seeing how gracious you've become in both victory and defeat. Congratulating Xander personally after his PGA victory and praising him at your presser and afterward, as well as lauding Rory in the post-U.S. Open presser shows true character and class. You've also shown that you're so much more than a guy who can just bash the ball off the tee. Heck, you didn't even really have your driver all day on Sunday! The scrambling and putting was off the charts at Pinehurst, and of course the bunker shot on 18 will truly go down as one of the most clutch shots in major championship history. Someone on Twitter showed a stat that pros get a 55-yard bunker shot up and down just 1.7% of the time. ONE POINT SEVEN! Just incredible stuff. Congrats, Bryson. We won't forget this one.

One of the best Major finishes I've seen. Those last 6-7 holes were full of pivotal moments between you & Rory. That sand save on 18 to get up & down will be talked about for a long time. So happy for you, you deserve it!
I've never made more of a 180 on someone in my life. Admittedly when I was new to golf I didn't care for Bryson, not for anything he had done but because it was just the thing to do. After watching his videos and getting to see how much he not only loves the game, but loves to share his wealth of knowledge with us and RU-vid golf creators is incredible. We are lucky to have him share so much with us and I feel genuine pride for someone I've never met. Congratulations Bryson, you've earned every bit of it.
What an incredible time we live in, when you can watch your favorite professional golfer go out and play a fun round with your favorite RU-vid golfer and then turn around and watch him win a major. I work on an oil rig in the Gulf of Mexico and yesterday was the first time I seen 6 guys surrounding a computer and fist pumping every made shot. Losing my dad almost 20 years ago I can tell you this much, he will always be near you. Hearing you talk post Win about him really got me. You were already my favorite golfer but now you are one of my favorite people I don't know. Your interactions in the middle of a major to how you have celebrated after has really been amazing to see. Very humble. Keep being "just a good dude" !!!!!!

You were destined to win another Major; you are on fire! I was present on Wednesday and Thursday and witnessed a touching moment. As you stood on the tee box, a young child approached, visibly injured with what appeared to be a minor leg cut. Despite being in the midst of the US Open, you paused to inquire if the child needed medical assistance. Though the child's father assured you they were fine, your act of kindness amidst such intense competition truly exemplifies your humanity and compassion. This victory is well-deserved, and your kindness makes it even more admirable. Hope you rack up a bunch more!

This was one of the best majors I’ve ever watched, the way you scrambled and saved yourself time after time, it had to be an up and down to win it and the bunker shot at 18 is absolutely top 10 shots of all time in a championship Round. Congrats, now go get a masters!!!!
What I picked up from the last round: -Rory: stopped the fan in a wheelchair and then ignored every other fan walking to the next hole. -Bryson: stopped for the same fan in the wheel chair and signed his hat. Then fist bumped/hand slapped every fan on the side he was walking on towards the next hole. Not to mention he also stayed late at the range to greet everyone. It’s why he is a fan favorite. Watched the whole last round once your tee time started. Congratulations🎉
Bro I was enthralled with your performance..for the fact on sunday most of your approach shots were out of the sand bushes at Pinehurst, so many good up and downs, and that final up and down on 18 was magical..had a grand stand to your left, a tree limb in your swing, sand everywhere, 50+ yard sand shot, and a uphill tester of your life..that putt doesn't drop your going to a tuff playoff..well done BD..it was truly a inspiring major..now go get emm at The Open

Insane display of talent, skill, and composure with those recovery shots! Multiple shots from the waste areas, the 2nd shot on 18 is arguably just as impressive as the bunker shot with that tree root in the way (super easy to hurt your wrist there) and ridiculously clutch with the bunker shot to close it out!
