SomeOrdinaryGamers raid shadow legends that game I’ve played because I wanted to see what I thought of it and if you haven’t played it ok first off the combat basically plays itself but you can take control but it’s like look at the graphics yeah nice graphics but what about the gameplay yeah that’s what I thought basically it just sucks
Remember when everyone said that RDR2 was one of, if not, the most visually stunning video game(s) of all time? Well not anymore, because now we have RAID: Shadow legends! Join my clan and sell your soul to Satan for a free champion right now!
Zacin8or Oh yes he will. They're hyper-aggressive. They email creators several times a day with rubber-stamp style messages designed to sound personal, and other content creators have literally messaged them back to say "Hey, NO." and they still get sponsorship emails. Raid is absolutely rabid that way.
Had a friend who liked Raid, I brought up a bunch of these points but he was convinced it was a good game. Anyway we don't talk anymore, nothing to do with raid, he was actually a nazi
Whenever they sponsor you, its always gonna be a lose lose situation, if you accept it, you will look like you just do it for the money, if you don't accept, you lose the absurd amount of money they offered to you.
so is doing anything for money good or not? everyday people just arbitrarily move the goalposts of whether or not the specific way one person makes money is cringe or not?
@@angel_of_rust that's quite the problem with today's society, lacks empathy and merely follows stereotypes, for the most people that is (or just some that outshines the people with actual brains)
@@angel_of_rust you dont know what ur talking about do you, yes looking to make money is not ok by itself, and the way u get money with this shitty app is disgusting and horrendous, only idiots with no dignity would do this
@@qoque2737its not about the judgement, but what is right, money isn't everything, you should not sell your dignity for some money to sponsor a garbage game that turns people into gambling addicts, do not do wrong things for money
Could’ve been a show in which characters from game genres or game stereotypes live basic life while still doing stuff in their games. Huh, that sounds familiar.......Wreck it Ralph.
Auto-play is like buying an activity book that already has all of the activities done for you, or a Where’s Waldo book where he’s circled in bright neon green on every page
RAID uses the same sound effect and visual strategies as casinos for dopamine release, but with virtually no payoff (as one might expect from a casino). Most people who go to a casino won't become gambling addicts. But the few who do keep those places running. RAID is the casino of mobile gaming.
I bet Raid thought that their game would make as much money as Fate: Grand Order's $1.2Billion but everyone thinks Raid is a bad game, and most people who play fate go, don't think Fate go is a bad game, and would spend tons of money on it
If they changed Raid to be more like games such as Darkest Dungeon or Iratus it could actually be pretty good. Even if it were still a freemium. But it's so repetitive.
I was thinking of that when he was talking about gotcha games I think darkest dungeon has an auto battleler feature but it’s still o difficult to use so there is gameplay
Every time any RU-vidrs advertises “Raid: Shadow Legends,” they advertise this game so much that I just get frustrated, and it makes me want to avoid this game like the plague. And now watching this video, I found another reason to avoid this game even more
911: 911 whats your emergency Guy: there‘s someone in my house and is armed, send someone QUICKLY 911:ok i‘ll send someone... _but before a quick word from our sponsors, RAID: shadow legends_
Guy: (Screaming and shooting in background) 911: RAID: Shadow Legends is on the top list of best games on Google Play making it nearly to the #1 spot! The quality is- Armed shooter: Omg! I love that game! 911: I know right? How can you not like it? (Continues to explain the premise of the game, it's popularity etc.) Okay the police will be right on their way, sir. Armed shooter: Aw shit...
“Today I was offered 50k dollars by a 21 year old girl to advertise a game, but I refused the offer through strong willpower. Just as strong as Galek, a hero from the game Raid: Shadow Legends, with visually amazing graphics and fast gameplay, get it on mobile now!” -Some Guy (I forgot his name but he speaking straight fax)
"My favourite champion is green Drax, because he is muscular and whatever" "If you're quick enough, you can join my clan" "They have a near perfect score on Play Store"
Squidward: Are you planning on ordering today, sir? "I'll have, uhh...Raid: Shadow Legends!" Squidward: How original... "With, Nord VPN and Dollar Shave Club." Squidward: Daring today, aren't we?
Raid has decent graphics and a somewhat interesting story. But like most mobile games either your team is strong enough or isn't. No amount of strategy really changes that. It's about how much time/money can you sink in.
@@ariefdwi7102 My best friend of 10+ years constantly badgers me about trying some mobile game he downloads. Each one he plays is all the same. It all boils down to how much time and or money you've spent. The lack of strategy that every mobile game claims they have is infuriating especially when you consider how other games are now copying the poor marketing that they have. I remember when halo pretty much demanded you do what it took to unlock the armor you wanted or you wouldn't earn it. That's how game rewards should be instead of demanding your wallet or hoping you get it via loot packs. Even worse is how people have rationalized it in their head that these loot boxes are fair and not at all undeserving of our money which in turn encourages the companies to keep doing that. We already pay for internet, we pay for their consoles, their games, their online their game pass/Playstation plus, and they still want us to cough up more money for their battle passes, and DLC. I really wish enough people had the sense to boycott these industries until they quit being money grubbling brainless vampires.
The thing is, everyone watching the raid shadow legends ads knows that nobody actually cares about the game. But I don’t mind sitting through it if it means my favorite content creators get to eat lol.
Pavorish - Yeah including all these content creators shill enough to go for this because we know that they won’t be playing this after their sponsorship with them ends.
@@Pavorish Did you really ask why people get paid to advertise something? Simple answer: They advertise... because they get paid to advertise. A few thousand bucks for a couple 30 second slots by a creator is much cheaper than paying Google millions to do the same thing. Get it?
let's be real here... EVERYONE talked about this dumb game promoting it... but this man, this man is a real legend for hating on the game! which I approve because I'm tired of seeing the same exact footage everyone uses as that just sells me less on it showing that they DID NOT play it at all!
The only exception I can think of besides SomeOrdinaryGamers and Pewdiepie is Pyrocynical because even though he did take the sponsor and promoted it, he made fun of it and it was obvious by everyone that he did not want to advertise it.
Thank you for your integrity. I wish more of the channels I enjoy had your sense of ethics. There are so many companies to choose from too. Mattresses, Manscaped, coffee companies, blue chew, it's not like there's a shortage of sponsors in 2022 and beyond.
The only absolutely amazing gacha game that i ever played is the Battle cats, no ads, and it's not that hard to get through stages and there is always things to do that are not braindead gameplay
I played it for 15 minutes, which was the shittiest 15 minutes of my life (and thats saying something) and then was bombarded with micro transaction ads. Raid is aids.
Genoprototype i've tried it, it's a shitty gatcha with a pretty horrible story and starts off like almost every other gatcha, a boss with a forced defeat. also that "Download it now and get 10000 silver and a free epic champion" shit is just the game normally starting.
"is it really 300 champions when I'm sure 15 of them are just recolors of each other" Not only that, but the claim that there are a million builds I guarantee is bunk, because I bet the game is deliberately so unbalanced that only a handful of builds are viable at any given time.
Raid is a good game. He didn't even play it. It is obviouse to everyone that ever played it. This dude couldn't beat level 20 dungeons with even the biggest whale account without help from others. Team synergie is complicated in raid. More complicated then near to any other turnbased game including tripple A games like final fantasy. I played games like persona and the battle system is bs kindergarden ah compared to raid. And it is not even close. There is not one strongest champion in this game. There is not one best build in thos game, there is no sich thing as put your best champs into any team and just press auto. Often rares are 100% more valuable in dungeons then the best legendaries. This game plays with many debuffs and buffs, you need real strategies to beat high end content. That doesn't make it pay to win tho. I play free to play. All you got to do it beat the clanboss on nightmare and up. Wich is a difficult task as your team needs to be setup with specific debuffs and speeds to keep those debuffs up 100% of the fight like decrease attack for example. A rare has it on an a1 tripple hitter. Together with warmaster that means he does huge damage, can be build with the necessary defense becaise his damage comes from warmaster only and he is one of few champs that can keep up decrease attack 100% of the fight. If you didn't understand what I ment here that is because you didn't play the game and habe no idea how complicated it is. And yes I said rare, not epic, not legendary. You don't want to use 90% of all champs in the CB as their skills doesn't match the opponent. They match other opponents. Everyone can get that rare. If you bwat the CB on nightmare you get two chests each day. Those chests have a high chanve of having the two high shards in it wich would be 10-20$ each usually. At that point you can actually get every champion. And raid is not based on pulling champs twice. You oull him once you can max him in one day. People cry that it ttakes time to level but that's cause they are not smart enough. Campaign stage 12-3 on brutal gives most xp per champ compared to silver and energy. If you run that on auto in more then a minute you gonna take an hour to run it 60 times. If you build a champ with an aoe hit a1 that is strong enough you can beat it in 6 seconds. All of a sudden you can do 60 runs in 360 seconds aka 6 minutes. Doesn't take that long anymore. There are also doomtower bosses you wont do with auto. You campaign farm on auto as it is wave content. Bosses in dungeons or doomtower are unique. Some are very strong. In fireknight for example you need to get down his shield before he takes damage. And he puts it back up when he has a turn. What you want here for example would be champs that can clear the first 2 waves. Then you are at the boss. What you need here is multihitter. So champs that do more then 1 hit per turn as you need to hit for example 12 times before the shield goes down. After it is down you can put debuffs onto him. Ypu want a decrease speed debuffs obviously for him to be slower and not put the shield back up. You want decrease defense and weaken for you to be able to do damage. And you want a turnmeter controller are two. That have abilities wich take away a percentage of the enemies turnmeter. This means at some point yiu can take his shield down and he will never get another turn he is beaten. But guess what, I have an endgame account and still am not able to run it on auto. Every other boss has completly different unique stuff like that. You can have the best champ in the game. If he can't multi hit or turnmeter controll he is absolutely worthless against fireknight, more worthless then several rares wich have those abilities. You can look up a buff and debuff list on plariums webside. No this game is far from pay to win nor just brainless put the same champ into every dungeon and press auto. It is actually complicated and very good. Don't talk sh before you played it for a month or so and have some LV 60 champs and build teams for some high end dungeons
I play AzurLane, which is a waifu collection gacha game, so RAID should have been up my alley. Well, it wasn't. I actually didn't mind the start of the game tbh and enjoyed what I could play of the Campaign at the time [which wasn't much]. The P2W absolutely killed it! So, even as a waifu kawaii fuckin' anime lover, I think this game is dog shit. Great vid by the way!
I had a dream where I went to ask my teacher what a test I missed was on and he said raid shadow legends and my eyes blazed open in real life cause it pissed me off so much it woke me up instantly. I'm so tired of hearing about it.
*I just wonder how much does raid spends on these sponsors... Yet it only have 10mil+ downloads... There are other free games with less advertising and 50 of millions of downloads*
it doesn´t have more downloads because everyone with at least one braincell will watch some of that "riveting" gameplay before downloading it and then says.. nah..
@@elitereptilian200 thats exactly what i did when i noticed this game was popping up in shit tons of youterbers videos. I was like wtf is this game really that good? I watched like 2 mins of a video and this game looks boring as hell. Its and idle p2w thing. Stupid as hell. Edit: i spell bad
“I won’t be bribed by Raid: Shadow Legends” RU-vid: *Puts an ad on the video for Raid: Shadow Legends* Edit: Didn’t expect to get 1.7k likes on a comment I made for shits and giggles, thanks peeps LOL
They know better than to do that to me. They seem to understand what I’m interested in. I’ve made record time skipping ads, and the only ones I don’t are ones I watch to the end. The lamest thing I’ve willingly watched with no regard to the skip ad button was a programming toy for little kids (and immediately after I went crazy from how I could add to the design to appeal to slightly older children). They know not to even try to pull the curtain over my eyes. All I see now are the absolutely most paid stuff (Mike Boomerberg and Reese’s Cheeses) and the occasional Reddit-marketed indie game.
This is the case with every single mobile game like this. make hundreds of animated ads that have nothing to do with the game and throw all their money at youtuber to reach as many people as possible
@@harpyeagle5107 I mean Raid's ads are at least more accurate to what kind of game it is than others. Hell, there's even an ad that makes fun of the fact you're only ever spamming one attack over and over again and the game character is in therapy over this. The ads are not "inaccurate" just very aggressive and filled with half-truths
there are two games i play a lot that do use auto functions in battle and such but they still have intriguing stories and interesting gameplay mechanics. black desert mobile and alchemia story. both of them have ongoing stories that your character experiences. they both have gacha elements, but they arent a necessity to play. you might have to grind to get through higher levels without a rare weapon or armor, but you dont have to spend money. there are also gachas that you get for free, and the items you get are decent enough that you dont need to spend anything else. what i enjoy most is the side quests and non-battle gameplay, like harvesting items or fishing.
ok i saw this video on my reccomended and im here to sat you are the only youtuber who is whats the word ...... open ye open is the word and i respect you and im dropping a sub have a great day
