Not gonna lie, i did 3 ads with them in the past because I needed the extra money to help my mom with medical bills. I hated how strict their guidelines were and when i directly told them how negative they are for a youtube channel's image, their response to me was "oh they are just haters, we still get clicks." Nothing irritates me more than someone responding to criticisim by calling people haters.
Muta: *Literally destroys RAID and calls it a terrible game, and even says he’d rather play Fallout 76 over this.* Raid Ads: *Allow us to introduce ourselves*
Well the game is still remembered, but in the most negative way possible. But who cares? Whales still exist, so they are fine. Unfortunatelly for the future of the industry, some people will gladly spent every cent they make in a month on this type of trash, which means things will only get worse until games are no better than those shitty Hollywood movies they are selling these days.
Jajuan Mays. We in it, we win it, we League of Legends that is the pog best game yeah, ain’t nobody gonna beat league. Edit: Minecraft, League and fortnite are the main games of the 2010’s
I bet if they hear the words " Raid shadow legends " and " Play it " in the same sentence they would sponsor you. I bet you can still give the sentence "Raid shadow legends is cancer and no one should play it." and they would still sponsor you lmfao
I downloaded Raid, played it for 5 minutes before realizing there was no game and realized I could have made a coffee with the 5 minutes I had just wasted.
This one time I played Rocket league for 40 seconds. Crap game. Here I was just trying to race, and in the first 5 seconds there was a ball on the racing course. Uninstalled right away.
@@Petra999 I was making fun of the main comment. Guy reviewed the game after 5 minutes of playtime, thinking he has a grasp on how the game works. I've played this game for 14 months and still don't know how some of tbe bosses work.
@@skor8414 I understood that they were pretty much the same level, but don't trust my hearing it is really heavily damaged and very often I have to figure out what people say from just a few snippets.
@@killerb187r.o.dstunna9 idk what you said there but your comment was that all publicity is bad and tbh thats really not true just look at daniel bregoli etc life is unfair
Thank you so much for doing this video. Calling out scam games that are actually legalized gambling for children is so important. Doing this even though you may risk future advertising opportunities shows that you truly care about humans more then money. Thank you for being a good person.
they don't really sponsor because they don't need it (EDIT: but they obviously spam their ads on every youtube category even for incognito viewers), they have an actual game with interesting mechanics and a big open world. having cute and sexualized characters makes people bat an eye when they see it mentioned, but it's just another character collector gacha that gates your progress behind walls and you can get a new character f2p guaranteed only after months of playing daily. they have the worst monetization model on all the games I've played, they try to milk the playerbase constantly, just like the worst ea/ubisoft games or destiny 2
“Muta, we are disappointed with your response to our game. However, we will forgive you if you want to promote our game in your next video.” -Probably RAID Shadow Legends
@@king_kiff3969 in the country I live in you aren't even allowed to use vids without adblocker cause ads are not allowed in any type of school. school is for kids and ppl to learn something and not for companies to sell something.
It's like the tutorial gives you powerful armour, swords which can take down gods and magic which can shatter entire planets, but once the tutorial is over, all of your equipment is taken away from you and you're left with a loincloth and your bare hands!
Many games do that. Is a way to make you want those powerful things. Metroid and Castlevania Symphony of the night does that, Need for speed does that etc
that ain't the only bald faced lie. "epic story" where? "amazing graphics" really? "customisable characters" okay yeah, but there's some deception there since to acquire the stuff you need to fork over a lot of cash
Those two weeks would be enough to kill any trust you had with any sensible person in your audience, you wouldn't be hustling Raid, you'd be hustling your audience.
Raid brings people to think that ALL mobile games are dumpster fires like itself...and that's really sad ...there are sooooo many amazing games you can play on smartphone....
@@seppoharkkonen5766 I'll just pull a quote from the Rebel Galaxy trailer and say that their offer is too low. There is a threshold, and some are the ones where the whole world is still too low for a deal.
@@Aereto Its rather easy to talk from a point of a normal youtube user, but i still would think i wouldnt grab the offer even if they put another zero or two behind it, if i didnt like the product, or am against it. But like i said i cant say 100% sure what i would do when faced with the problem like that. It just makes me look at mutahar in a more positive light, the first thing i really took notice was his community even here in youtube. I really like watching his following content even more knowing this what has happened before.
Creampie man why u so salty u lose against bots in fortnite and don’t talk about other people’s names like like u know the perfect name seriously your name is CREAMPIE MAN what u gay
I’ve never seen this man in my life, I knows it has been a year since post but subbing. Like your attitude and you brought up a lot of game so actually like towards the end 🙏🙏🙏 Now onto the actual content of video, I used to be a Raid player. I did spend money on that game. I think I put about $70 into it total (give or take as I’m approximating) I’ll give my two cents in regards to game - Story - It’s story lacks any need really to do, idea is your band of heroes must stop evil. Classic but it’s one we all know super well. Nothing wrong with it but there’s no weight. What I mean is there’s no consequences for anything and there’s no real feeling of need to do anything. I found myself playing the “story” mode not to experience the narrative of the game but just to unlock new features and collect items or shards (were they shards or crystals I can’t remember I stopped playing a while back and have terrible memory) to allow for more spins. - Collecting Heroes - collecting is something I’ve always enjoyed been playing Pokemon since I was a toddler. Although the collecting aspect is less like Pokémon and more like a gacha machine. You pay token to unlock a hero, you may get a new one or an old one but it’s all luck. That’s something I disliked is getting tons of the same crappy characters. - Graphics- I actually liked the graphics decently enough. They weren’t the most amazing or anything but they were pleasing to view and I found the characters you can collect to be absolutely badass. This right here in my opinion is their strongest characteristic for their game however everything else makes it a bad game - Game Mechanics - This one really bugs me as I went in hoping for a turn based battle system like Pokemon or the old Final Fantasy games I grew up playing. They ~kinda~ were at the beginning but options were extremely limited and once the auto battle unlocks there’s really no reason to do anything yourself. The computer can play just as good as you if not better depending on your knowledge of the game. Over all the game isn’t worth spending money on and I wish they would’ve taken time away from the design and worked better mechanics and story. And obviously the micro transactions are annoying as is with literally every game. As someone who used to play it everyday I give it a 2/10 all those points being from graphics only. I only played it cause of the feel good when you got a cool character which was extremely short lived
me:tryna watch a Harry Potter movie THIS HARRY POTTER MOVIE MARATHON IS SPONSORED BY RAGE SHADOW LEGENDS START NOW FOR FREE Me:fuck you raid shadow legends
FTC: We have an announcement about the connections of mobile games and illegal gambling. But before we start let's talk about our sponsor: RAID SHADOW LEGENDS!
As the professional game critic Yahtzee Croshaw once said “I tend to split games into two camps, games that are made to stimulate and games that are made to numb” Raid is undeniably a numbing game.
Yes! You can emulate Final Fantasy 7 on mobile PSX emulators this is the reason why I use emulators on my phone, games on the play store are just horrible, money drainers, to the point I just play on emulators or source ports that can run games like Doom or Quake.
Sergeant, sir, I've only just transferred to Navarro, and haven't been issued a suit of Power Armor yet. Is it possible for me to get one on site, sir?
+++ respect. It really breaks my heart when popular youtubers talk about how it's a great game. Like it's just ruining the image of your channel. I understand small youtubers could use some extra cash but big channels with over million subscribers, how do they still accept the sponsorship is beyond me.
Are we gonna talk about how good of a person this guy is for turning down a whole 10k because he thought that random people who watch him could be taken advantage of? Idc who says hes dumb for doing that, this is a big dick move. Thanks for caring about us bro❤
@@SprinklesIsGamer yea but lets be real for a sec, would you turn down 10k? Think of all the things you could do with that. You could get yourself a pretty beefy setup bro.
@@SprinklesIsGamer youtubers dont actually make as much as you would think. If you go searcg up how much money youtuber have made from multiple million views its really not the much considering it all comes in over a period of a few years
@@ElectroMadness300 yes that's true, but these days the quantity of genuine quality products are very little compared with shit products with brain washing ads.
@@dr.calibrations7984 so you're saying not to worry about people who lost everything in these kind of game plays and gambling. Dickhead spotted. It's not sponsoring it's actually bribing. Do you seriously think the money they pay to RU-vidrs is fine just by looting you? If the game is genuinely good no need to pay checks to everyone.
Hatfox Prime Huh. I guess they are. They’re owned by Plarium, whose parents company is Aristocrat Leisure, who produces “gambling machines” in Australia.
I’m so glad to see a youtuber with some integrity for once. I’m seriously sick and tired of all these losers getting down on their knees and begging raid for a sponsorship at the first whiff of money.
I remember using nordvpn while playing Raid Shadow Legend, and making my blog post with square space, and learning how to make a video with skillshare.
Good lord, This mans know whats going on. The cam losing focus actually made the vid better haha. Take my Sub. Ps. Thanks for putting this on the algorithm YT
I remember early in the what I call "mobile wars" where there was good games made vs. the bad and shitty games like Raid, and there was this 2 games I enjoyed and one was a game like XCOM where you would station troops on the map and you could control the soldier too, and the AI was challenging because they would go for you commander and stronger units by flanking them.
if you're talking about XCOM: Enemy Within on Android, that was a port from the PC/console versions. Really fun game. I actually paid to download it on my phone because it is good
@@XavationqyxDandomly Its like a strategy game but you would have a percentile number judging by the equipment, promotions and flanks to hit an enemy. The main goal of the game was to stop an alien invasion of earth, in XCOM 2 the aliens finally invaded earth and probed and are using human DNA including other alien DNA from other planets, and finally XCOM Chimera is where you play a police department in a world that has aliens and humans coexisting including hybrids of aliens and alien humanoids. Its a great game to get into pretty fun.
Muta: Makes a video about turning down Raid ad deals RU-vid: Puts a Raid: Shadow Legends ad at the beginning of the video Muta can't escape his fate Edit: holy balls 650+ likes thank u
You're absolutely right! I REALLY enjoyed Raid for a couple of days! The graphics are lush, the character designs are great, and there are so many of them that it's hard not to be impressed at first. So I did play it and I did enjoy it for a couple of days, while waiting for the gameplay part of the "game" to start. I was like, _any minute now, a game will happen._ But nope. It really isn't a game at all. The only skill required is "Shall I put this crap character on my team or a good character?" Once you have your team assembled, it's all just SO boring. It isn't a game! It's like a sort of cartoon where you watch your team either have enough mathematics to beat the stage, OR NOT. It's that simple. Do you have the maths on your side? So to watch this video and then imagine Karl Jobst, an otherwise highly respectable gaming RU-vidr, getting that email and plotting a script on how to con ME and YOU into downloading this piece of crap, is extremely disappointing. 10 grand is the price of Karl's integrity and that's pretty fking cheap.
This is indeed the level of understanding I'd expect someone to have after playing tbe game for a few days. Just like clash of clans, this game is timegated. You can only do so much in a single day. In the early game they give you a lot of energy beat the campaign with, and get you started. You roll through on auto-play. This is just the early game... You soon run out if builders or energy, and have to close the game. After you start, you need to level your starter and 4 other champions to level 60. Perhaps you picked a good one up from a starter code, or you pulled a somewhat decent one, but this is just building you basic team. Getting 5 champs to level 60 takes at least 2 weeks, so you didn't even get that far. The strategy aspect comes AFTER this. Yeah there's not much strategy going on when selecting champs when you have 1 strong one and 4 fillers. I have 20 champs at level 60. I selected each one based on what piece of content I needed an upgrade for. Take for example spider. I use an HP burner there. I have my team build with specific speeds, so their turn order is right. Some champs I have build more defensively, because the boss hits them first. I have specific buffs and debuffs that are required for my strategy to work. You probably never even tried the spuder boss, because it wasn't even within your capability. You quit the game mid tutorial, and decided there wasn't any strategy to the game.
"This video is sponsored by Raid: Shadow Legends" "We do not sponsor... We do not pay money for it." Well, a lot of RU-vidrs must be lying or Raid's company is. What was the point? You make the people you pay look bad or you make yourself look bad in any case.
@@aron1089 He hadn't posted that reply when I loaded this comment section, also literally 50% of RU-vid comments in general are reposts of other comments so why get offended?
@@hankhill7287 because google adds track what you search so if you're watching something about cars, you'll most likely get a car add, same with tiktok, raid anything.
This is why I love you and your content Muta. Also with raid there is actually no way to redeem your favorite RU-vidrs specific code in the game, which is more of a total fucking scam.
