Thanks to raid shadow legends I can laugh whenever I want to just by saying "this video is sponsored by Raid shadow legends"... totally didnt laugh writing this comment🤣
I feel bad for the artists and animators that work for these guys because they genuinely have good looking designs that are wasted on some shitty cashgrab
@@wackyworkbench well they need money to live and RAID SHADOW LEGENDS offered a lot of money. Would you work for a bad game for a lot of money or a good game for very little money?
@@PoochieCollins Because they don't give a fuck. If you have 5 subs RAID will reach out to you. People literally mocked RAID in some videos and they still reached out to them.
A slot machine game was popular in my fellow circle, but I never play it. I rather play Cities Skyline, Doom or even F1 2021. Games I bought from steam gives me a lot of emotion: You can become F1 along with biggest names, Hamilton, Verstappen, Vettel even become next Ocon.(I am a fan of him); or just build cities only appear on your fiction; even slaying monster, let them beg for mercy, because you are the worst. But many mobile games failed to give me those emotions, so only purpose of my phone, is act like a phone.
Plarium really is, look at every other game they have Mech Arena for example, it's just as boring and pay to win as RAID but instead of the regular turn based fighting it's a watered down version of war robots
Full story: You have 4 blokes lvl 60, one of their friends gets eaten and they laugh at it for some reason, then they act like they can defeat the dragon but get 1 shot. Then you can pick different charecters. Thats it
My experience playing Raid every day for some months The first month was fun a lot of mechanics that can be learned, could not get to do the champion of the month challenge because I was new and all, but that's ok Second month tried to play more and do the monthly challenge, read the online help, watched the raid chills, and even bought things in the store, could not get the champion of that month, it was fine but something was wrong, I was not having that much fun anymore was more like a job now. The third month gonna grind to get the next champion next month, grinding is fun, right? RIGHT? stocked energy and resources for a month, read the online help, and so on, and got prepared for the next month. I was addicted. - Month four, the new champion, but the raid company made the month champions more expensive in resources to get. almost got it, and even bought some resources. I was noticing a trend here. -Next month the raid company made the month champions more expensive in resources again, It was the trend now, It was a "you almost got enough" kind of a deal playing the game, I remember thinking, "Is this fun anymore?" and "maybe playing it for a year every day I can get the month champion?", After that, I Stoped playing it, and to my surprise the next month the raid company made the month champions more expensive in resources again. It's fun for people that like "the number going bigger" kind of deal but it's a scummy game, the community chills are just disgusting sellouts that would sell their mother for some bucks, and most of the fanbase are brain-dead kids. would not recommend
I never understood how companies bragging about how many characters there are to choose from in their game (which you've never played) is supposed to be a great selling point somehow.
Or why I should be excited to get 50,000 free silver in a game I don't care about. They could give me infinite silver and I still wouldn't want to play.
I guess it's about "more characters=more variety" making it more fun, and that there's a character for everyone. Idk tho never played the game, and not interested
I love it when they compare things without any objective value. Like with this game you get 50k silver while others only give 10k. Good to know every game economy is the same.
@@Xonarag Yeah, they might as well say a billion pieces of silver, that still doesn't tell me anything other than it's a high sounding number. What if a wooden sword costs 500 million pieces of silver?
Just imagine you enter the bathroom and then a voice from the toilet says “Before you use the toilet let’s give a shout-out to our sponsor *Raid: Shadow Legends* “ Edit: OH GOSH THE REPLIES ._.
The fact that this video was recommended to me amidst the ongoing flood of other content creators plugging this game gives me hope that someday RU-vid's algorithm won't be complete garbage.
ItsOracleX But they’re still games that can be downloaded on mobile...(granted they do play mainly on PC or Console) (At least u didn’t mention soul knight 😂)
So freaking relatable I am tired of seeing raid shadow legends get sponsored almost for like half of RU-vid and sing gameplay like this makes me happy that I never liked/played to raid shadow legends even if it’s sponsor money is so “worth it”
Raid: shadow legends is a fungal infection that takes over the Hosts brain and repeat advertises there games 24/7 After that they get aggressive to everyone after a few weeks they start to go blind and turn into wild animals. After a few months they eat everyone they see This is a very deadly infection. But before we get into more. Let's talk about my new favorite game RAID: SHADOW LEGEN-
It's hard to find RU-vidrs that don't crap on their fans and treat them like idiots for a small amount of money (relative to their channel size.) The worst ones are the RU-vidrs who are big enough that they don't need to flush away their integrity and blatantly disrespect their audience for a thousand dollars.
The part at 3:07 where you are casually filming and saying lines while there is random people on either side of you is crazy. I could never stand the awkwardness.
Sorry to hear you didn't like that game. Here's one you could try. Raid: Shadow Legends. It's an immersive RPG with over 400 characters that can be compared to AAA titles on the PC.
And if you don’t like Raid: Shadow Legends you could always try Raid: Shadow Legends. The most ambitious and imersive RPG with epic boss fights and over 400 characters. Play today to claim your free EPIC hero and 1 billion coins.
No joke I just saw a Raid: shadow legends ad during the video. this needs to stop! correction 2 ads! (help me) and aye thanks for the 500 hundred likes omg and DONT check out me channel it’s a cheese fest
They got three words common in fantasy games and put them together in a random order. It could have just as easily been called Shadow: Raid Legends or Legend: Shadow Raid
@@poweroffriendship2.0 Every fantasy action franchise that isn’t named “Dark Souls” sounds like a knock off of lord of the rings. But at least in this case they’re unique, unlike Raid 👀
well it failed because I am not going to play it after hearing this. Edit: Just spent $6 on the game but it's not like I like it or anything Edit 2: $63 later and I can confidently say that this had no effect on me Edit 3: Another $351 and I think maybe, just maybe, this reverse psychology may have worked Edit 4: Anyone got any spare change?
So let me get this straight... I just got recommended a video where some guy is carrying around a dead woman's ashes in a jar while visiting random places and talks about a shitty mobile game.....? O.o
The gameplay is extremely mediocre: you control four characters in turn-based combat, and each character has a default attack and two skills, the latter of which go into cooldown once used. Levels consist of three waves of enemies-clear all three waves and you beat the level.
and this makes me hate it even more, as a fan of turn based rpgs (mainly SMT and Persona games) it just reinforces that "turn based combat is bad", when it can be actually interesting and fun. But, it is a mobile game, so it is already hard to take seriously
@@Beastinvader This. And it's genuinely funny. I don't tune out or skip those parts of his videos. I doubt he's even played it. Some others make attempts to be toung in check about it but no one does it well enough for me to not consider it to be just a shill.
He accepts money so that an evil company can spread their evil game to even more people. It's despicable. Trying to pass it off as ironic humor just makes it more pathetic. If you're going to take dirty money, at least you should be man enough to own it.
can you find every “All Star” lyric that I used in this vid? If so, leave a comment with the timecodes, first person to find them all (Along with the hidden lyric from another famous Smashmouth song) will get a shoutout!
i know there was a walking on sun lyrics from the video, but i don't know the lyrics, I think it would be the part where it goes "So don't delay, act now, supplies are running out Allow if you're still alive, six to eight years to arrive And if you follow, there may be a tomorrow But if the offer is shun, you might as well be walkin' on the sun"
0:21 0:41 3:00 3:53 4:00 6:16 7:05 7:13 10:22 10:35 13:59 And I don’t know if the parody song counts but here is everything in that: 14:49 14:53 14:58 (got/get paid?) 15:21 15:30 15:40 15:45 That’s all of them I hope.
keyboard noob you just got woooshed, kinda. Although it was such a obvious reference/joke for them to make that I’m not entirely sure that you’re not joking yourself.
@@regulargoat7259 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂i dont even know if im joking or if the guy that made this comment is joking its all just a big mess of confusion and i love it😂
The weirdest thing is that there's a whole bunch of mostly Korean mobile RPGs that are pretty much exactly the same as Raid. Same structure, same concepts, same setting, same aggressive monetization, same visual style, same upgrade mechanics, same town hub - they're pretty much all identical. Some use realtime combat, not that it matters since you'll be running the game on auto, anyway. I really don't get it. The games don't even look cheap, there clearly went a lot of money and effort into those soulless cash grabs. Korea has some amazing talent in the industry, just to waste them on this uninspired trash.
They make these probably because it’s low risk. The “genre” of this kind of games is called gacha and from what I understand people are attracted to it because it’s like a lottery where you have a 0.1% chance to pull a shiny angel girl with giant personalities or a 99.9% chance to get a boring faceless soldier character that is entirely useless. It’s basically gambling paired with additional gameplay to brag about your luck (Arena PvP or RTA) and infinite farming (aka PvE in it’s entirety). So it’s not only addictive because you feel satisfaction when the RNG rolls in your favor and you find a lump of dirt in a pile of feces (there’s usually a middle grade between useless characters and ultra rare overpowered ones that have better chances to appear than the best ones but are obviously still a downgrade to them) and start believing that one of the next attempts will bring something even better but it’s also got potential to show off your luck (or amount of money you wasted on the game) by getting easy wins in PvP. Honestly I couldn’t care less about all these things if there were no aggressive advertisements for sinking money into this, some gachas actually don’t seem to have those but again, they don’t have that much money to advertise their product because of that. That’s pretty sad.
I mean, I play gacha (not raid, or anything of it's ilk) and unless I know someone *really well,* I just straight up dont reccomend them to people. Regardless of the fact that I don't spend a dime on them, and thus only play ones where you aren't constantly pushed to spend cash, I know full well that they can be the start of a gambling addiction. And ones like raid are just flat out disgusting in how obvious they are about this fact.
Funny you'd mention Korea. My first thoughts from looking at RAID were "Devs must've liked Lineage II, except they thought almost no gameplay is better than repetitive gameplay."
Plot twist: Raid: Shadow Legends sponsored and bribe this RU-vidr about how terrible the game is so a lot of people would download and try it for themselves
The only guy I ever saw do a cool Radow Shadow Legends sponsor is Missasinfonia. But the guy loves to do weird, unique sponsors. He actually got rejected by Raid (an insecticide) because in his sponsor said, literally, "Fuck Off Mosquitoes!" As an slogan
@@Kafka_Garezerra have you seen internet Historian's ads for the game. He basic isn't even making ads at this point and is instead making a cinematic universe of ad characters. Check him out because his ads are actually worth watching. It got to the point where Nord VPN said, "Just stick to the script. We don't want any of that shadowman stuff it makes the brand look unprofessional." So instead he did losing your sponsor any % glitchless.
@@shaunlevin5081 Damn, that sounds awesome. Is there like a compilation or something? I mean, I don't want to see an entire channel just to see a mini series
@@aetherkid khm excuse you? Yup greed can pervert capitalism, and it is one of the most destructive plagues of today's society, but that does not mean capitalism is inherently about greed.
Raid has such scripted and glowing Ads that it never feels genuine when I hear people talk about the game. After the second time it becomes so obvious they are just reading a script that it is a turn off to me. Not that I am blaming all the RU-vidrs who do it as they need to make money, but it does leave a bad taste in my mouth about the channel and the game. It would be slightly better if they gave some more flexibility and allowed the creators to have the Ads sound somewhat more genuine. However maybe it's a good thing that it's clearly an advertisement and not more ambiguous.
I do agree entirely but I actually tried it out and it was pretty fun but I think it is fun because it’s suck a Grind game, and I love those type of games
there's something super cringey with this clique making "LOL RAID SHADOW LEGENDZZZ IS TERRRIBLE GUIZ" like yeah no shit?... but the fact you're all making these videos for views and take moral high-ground , just makes it so grievously cringe. must just be a coincidence that everyone making them is a low sub'd channel that raid would never offer shit to, but fuck me watching you guys actually make videos like your turning down there offers or something is just outright fucking hilarious, when you'll plug spyware like honey like its actually not just fucking spyware, and pretend to use it just as those you criticize do for raid. LOL you folks are just tooooo damn much. ps; never move into a glass house LMAO
the script is total BS I did like the game for about a month and a bit but to say it is like a PC game that looks great is a lie for a mobile game was nice graphics but didn't offer much
Pfftt, your playing Kotor, what a boring game, Raid is clearly a revolutionary RPG, with more amazing story telling then the entire catalog of Tolkien and Chales Dickens combined, and 500 branching paths, how many does your stupid Morrowind have, Raid gives you more player freedom then Mount & Blade: Warband, and a combat system far superior then X-Com! #MobileMasterRace
Honestly finally someone actually calls this shit out besides mutahar. I get that sometimes a youtuber needs to take ads and can't be picky, but don't lie to my face and try to tell me the game isn't a shamless wallet vacuum.
or if mario was like “hey, wanna play the full game with all the fun worlds and levels? well, you gotta cough up the cash. here’s the first couple levels, have fun replaying those endlessly” oh yeah, mario run
@doe pameron I hope they werent considering he putt a piece of hamburger in it. Wich would be ngl very very disrespectful. It sounds weird that he would get her ashes aswell. Considering hes a customer. Then again theres been weirder stuff thats happened so i wouldnt be surprised tbh xD
