None of the story made sense after his wife dying lol. Therapist recommends night shift instead of fixing his problems, he asks not to be called a nickname because it reminds of his dead wife, only for his new coworker to immediately introduce him by that nickname, female main character instantly takes a liking to our main character after being called homeless, other new character attacks the main character to turn off the lights, instead of just turning off the lights. Mirror dimension is a thing now. No elaboration, no character development, nothing learned, and yet, the main character is now fighting for humanity to distract himself from his emotions instead of going to the therapy he paid for

(to be clear I really enjoyed the narration, I just have had problems with people calling me specific nicknames when I've SPECIFICALLY TOLD THEM NOT TO so I'm a little sensitive on the subject 😅)

They did recruit him maybe she already new and was purposely testing him. Maybe her doing that is what made that specific mirror image to conjure itself and they knew that would be his biggest obstacle and if he could overcome that he was worthy to join. But yeah, it frustrated me too

@@JaqenHghar. That actually makes sense. He was lost in memory when Karen said that name, and she had to snap him out of it. Then when he came back from the mirror-world, he confused the girl in the memories for Karen. I was pretty critical of the writing over-all, but that's a good attempt at a set-up and pay off.

Did not like that story one little bit. So much character build up just to have barely any payoff and an abrupt semi cliffhanger ending. Also karen is a god awful character. Seems like the author was trying way too hard to make her a likeable quirky girl but she was just an annoying weirdo. Outside of the main character no ones behaviour made any sense

His behaviour made no sense at all. Girl approaches his car dressed in a work uniform, and he assumes she's homeless? He doesn't like being called Rafa and tells her not to call him that, she ignores that, he smiles at her? Guy starts randomly threatening him, he tries to punch him instead of asking him wtf is going on.

@@krazycats564 The Rafa thing makes sense though. That's what his ex called him, and when Karen called him that, he was lost in memories she had o snap him out of. Then when he was lost in the mirror dimension, he confused his ex with Karen when he was being bought back to reality.

I have worked multiple different jobs with paranormal activity. The biggest was as a Louisiana State Special Officer during and after Hurricane Katrina and we saw and encountered many different types of entities. Another was as a Loss Prevention Agent at a very old Sears Department Store that was on the site of a old Civil War Confederate fort and later a Catholic Convent and was haunted by the ghost of a Nun. There are many more from my 30 plus years in law enforcement.
