@@mikelee7876agreed, Fouad seems like he became more douchey and he's super sensitive when you try to have a proper debate with him. I only watch for Iain and Paul at this point.
Iain is one of those bodybuilders who you can tell wasnt the most genetically blessed but just persevered so hard to get where he did. The other thing qith bodybuilding is that its just such a tough sport, like top 7 at the olympia means there is only 6 guys in the entire world that are better than you. Thats just incredible. Like if you got 7th at the Olympics for any event you would be so proud of that forever, so i hope iain is proud of his achievements forever l, because they represent the fact that if you work hard, you can achieve what you desire
my understanding was Iain retired due to his body breaking down on him, his chest in particular. Nothing wrong with that, he had a great career in his own right plus developed Cbum. He is a top analyst of the sport and an awesome personality. I hope he doesn't live in his own head too much and enjoys his retirement with Melissa. I loved his description of why Mel retired and she 100% right to do that. He looks a little sad to me on this one. Chin up Iain, many great years ahead. ps. a comeback would be a really bad idea.
@Hany Rambod This is the issue I highlighted on without commenting too much, Haney will out size today's classic division, he stood next to Dorian, we have a weight cap in today's classic, guys like Ramon and Urs after weight dropping are midgets next to Haney. Only Chris and Wesley and as I highlighted, back is an issue for most of classic because of the topic of a tighter mid section, most guys have avoided all out back training, which I agree with, Back training is a big issue and a difficult one to balance, I have had my mid section go up and down after back sessions, I am not gifted there, similar to Wesley. As I mentioned before, Wesley is very selective with back training for good reason. If classic division increased the weight cap yearly by 3lbs for a few years, the open division will be thrown out because classic will yield similar but more aesthetic physiques, just have to be honest.
We'll see soon enough if his conditioning will be better with his wife coaching instead of Milos, but i don't think Milos was the main issue in his prepp towards the Arnolds in my opinion.
@@kaizersoze2606She was on the commentary desk with Fouad and DJ. It was embarrassing. The irony was she was super defensive about Kuclo then like 6 months later Kuclo destroyed her life. He cheated on her, left her for someone younger, took everything, and bankrupt her company. In business and family he's doing great, she is not...
If Iain hadn't had the nerve issues that affected his calves, back & triceps there's no telling how far he could of gone. It says something about his genetics that he went as far as he did with those atrophy issues.
I have listened to every podcast that Milos spoke about the situation. He never said a single bad word about Samson. He said that Samson sent him a message that he won’t work with him and no explanation and then blocked him. It feels very weird to me where everyone is bashing Milo’s like he made a scene. Milo’s never said publicly anything bad about Samson, and Samson made it sound in his posts like Milo’s messed up something and claiming that they are still talking and are like family.
Haven’t watched yet, knowing iain he’s not coming back even though he could easily come top 10 every year. He clearly enjoys his down time year around and being able to love his wife and live the way a couple does. Bodybuilding even though I am not one clearly makes living a regular life difficult.
Iain is a awesome podcast guest, easy watch from beginning to end, real and non offensive, and man who's been there done it coach probably the most famous member of the bodybuilding and fitness industry who will ever walk the earth, but had the decency to know where his limits were with Chris and himself, a real man, you should definitely do more with Iain, maybe you Chris and Iain would be amazing combo cast🔥🔥🔥🙏🏽💪🏽
I’m sorry but both r wrong … it never was about the decision to change coaches but about the way Samson addressed the issue Plus Hani your d best coach Ever but the pose is called Abs & Thighs …. Not vacuum n Thigh
say what u want about greg’s advertisement of his whole brand but disrespecting his knowledge on bodybuilding was pretty pathetic for a full grown man knowing that Greg was competent enough to go pro and turn others into pros. Condescending tone you used is too prideful
@Hany and Iain-This issue of higher carbs or higher protein style diet goes against bodybuilding principles of being flexible and adjusting-when I started on my journey, I could not handle higher calories well, so, higher carbs and lower protein with substantial fats, then my metabolism kicked in, I thought increasing calories by carbs would be smart but the more carbs you throw in on its own, the more the body wants. This is where flexibility has to come in, in my opinion, there are 3 more elements to adjust-Protein, Fats and Fibre. When you start playing around with fibre and it is high according to dietetics figures, do not worry, your body will tell you to f....off and give it more calories, fibre only works when calories are enough. The key is adjustments, I am also a fan of clean single refeed meals like a cheat but clean, meaning all the macros in 1 single meal. Food is absolutely a muscle hardner, too much carbs without other macros will simply keep you empty, flat and flacid. classic dietetics are very much in line with bodybuilding
feast or famine is true-however, I cam back fully committed to bodybuilding, got my bodyfat low, close to 10%, built back up on 3500calories, got below 10% on 4500-5000calories. I am sort of thinking that calories are like wights, progressive overload, no need to jump the gun from 2500 end of prep to 6000 off season, no way in hell that is a good strategy, from a logical stand point to begin with.
This may sound counter productive but if your physique has gone down, taking time off bodybuilding not entirely but really taking your foot off, resets your metabolism, you start eating less, you down size to a certain extent and your waist line also resets IF you were eating decent, doesn't have to be too crazy but most importantly, calorie restricting. The best strategy for any bodybuilder who wants to reshape his physique, go away and come back another day. Look at Iain's waist line now
Iain , like many other guys has this distorted memory of Shawn Ray’s critique style 😂 Just watch his stuff again - I do guarantee you do remember it all wrong and exaggerated and you just repeat popular stereotype of him - he’s more reserved and balanced in his opinions than Dorian Yates or Robby Robinson 😎
Bit of a low blow asking “Does Greg Doucette know what he’s doing” by Hany. Obviously knows what he’s doing as former IFBB pro and coach to former pros. Hany definitely knew Iain used to work with Gregg, and seemed to just want to take a cheap shot at someone who is more successful online than him in the online world. A bit of jealousy creeping out from Hany.
Nah Samson handled that situation very wrong especially how he made it seem like his health was declining then 2 videos later saying don’t believe what you hear, but we heard it from him smh he was wrong as hell
