Going back to most of the Beatles songs bar a handful , proberbly Radiohead are the exception using a lot of 7 th 9 th 11 th chords , modal structures and 10-15 different chords throughout some songs but that don’t make them any better , he s good he s popular and getting better every year. In the opening thirty seconds he is walking past the site of my old school Sacred Heart in Salford. Some great memories from there - like just about everywhere else in and around Manchester city centre it is now flats. Manchester has changed dramatically in the last twenty years but for me despite all the glitzy buildings and swanky restaurants it has also lost a bit of its soul.
I live in New York now but used to hang out in Manny a lot and stay at the Palace on Oxford road regularly.....just got tix for Stone roses in June at MSG....can't wait, long live Manchester music!!!!!!

What a very underated song this is. No matter what you thought of the stone roses this man is a musical genius. He's what Liam Gallagher hoped he would become after leaving oasis. Love it. Saw him in concert and he's great. Despite his wacky covid theories.
