About me: I am 1 of 50 students in the dual degree program between the Wharton School of Business and Penn Engineering. This program is known as the Jerome Fisher Program in Management & Technology (M&T), with a less than 1% acceptance. I began my self-improvement and productivity journey at the age of 11.
Since then, I have been rigorously improving my skills and productivity: allowing me to achieve many ambitious goals I thought were impossible, such as getting a perfect 45 in IB, getting accepted into my dream program at UPenn's M&T, and getting shredded at the gym. I did all of this while having ample time to enjoy my teenage years.
Stay productive.

Joaquin, you hit the bullseye, at least for MYP. Essays are the only things, which will take you forward. Throughout 9th Summer, I was rigorously practicing essays day-in-day-out. This drastically improved my communication skills; it single-handedly took me from a six/five/four to a seven in L&L, I&S, and even some of the Sciences. If you want to ace MYP, your communication skill/writing needs to be incredibly good.

I just finished the MYP and am about to start DP!! The e-assessments(in my experience) were really not hard at all!! Obviously it differs each year, but I can guarantee that your mocks will be MUCH harder. You'll probably do a lot worse(a LOT) on your mocks than on the actual final exam. The same goes for your summatives, they are often a lot more focused/concentrated with questions that require more details than the final e-assessment which is broader and doesn't involve as much. Still study tho. Also the software used to write the exam is really easy to use(+ you get to try it out during your mocks to prepare). Please do not stress yourself out. Others might disagree, but it's really not that serious!!! Try your very best and stay calm, it's actually pretty hard to completely fail. Put effort into your Personal project(not necessarily the actual project, but the report mainly) as well as your art e-portfolios. Also service as action). Everything will be okay :)

@@phoebe-gc6cu Ive already been doing great in my service as action, even got selected for many programmes and offered to speak in assemblies because of my portfolio so I have no worries about that. Though, what Im really worried about is the speaking test for spanish and maths in general. Im only okay at writing spanish, but in 10th, Im at the level I should have been in 8th grade. Any tips?

@@ponferada It's really cool that you're doing so well in Service as Action! Spanish was one of my best subjects(I did Spanish Capable Phase 3&4) mainly because I really immersed myself in the language. I never went to any Spanish speaking country tho, so you definitely can do this wherever you are. Read your favourite books in Spanish(use SpanishDict if you need help understanding), watch shows and movies in Spanish during free time. Practice saying what you hear out loud from these shows and movies, and make connections. You also literally need to memorise the conjugations and reflexive stuff(especially for irregular verbs). Even for the irregular ones, there's often a pattern so at a certain point it won;t really feel like memorising, but you need to know them(present, past and future!). For Math, I'm probably gonna tell you the same thing you'll hear everywhere else, which is practice. Do many questions and try to find it fun. Try to see Math as simple and literally just a set of rules that you apply in different ways(because that's really what it is). Don't make it daunting and feel insanely hard for you. I did Extended Math and now I'm doing Math AA SL. Math doesn't have to be hard at all! You don't need to be a genius to do well☺

My school just published the IB average score of 33 (world average 30) with a 43 as the highest (last year avg is 37 and 44 as the highest). Imo, this is pretty poor as my aim is to get at least 41 to stand a chance to get into Singaporean unis. Do you have any advice on how you get high IB score when your school is average? Many people said that I dont need to be worried as I’m one of the top students of my cohort, but I’m still kinda apprehensive. Also, do you have any specific tips on how to study in IB with particular subjects: My HLs: AA, Phys, Chem My SLs: Economics, 2 languages

Hmm, this is what I have to say. If your score is "average" that simply means that your methods of learning/studying are also average. Change those and the scores will come. Develop a different set of study skills (probably active recall) outside of what you are doing and you'll begin getting different results. I was in a similar situation and went all in with active recall by doing sufficient past paper questions after thoroughly understanding the material

@@JoaquinRevello thank you for replying but i think you misread my statements :(( I was refering to my school grade instead of my grade as I have just started my school year
