Same here! i only use it couple times when i do batch cooking... i cook and store my food in the deep freezers and then i store the knife away... even when i dont use it i pick up the acidic glands from viscids... idk why tho :P

Excellent video! I was looking for the differences between all the new tools in New Frontier. BTW, I like the miasma pickaxe because the noxious crust, when cleansed, produces 5x the amount, besides the normal yield of the ore you harvested. Thanks again for all your work!

Yess! i farmed so much clay using the miasma sledgehammer!!! thats how i was able to make a Pyramid base!

Hey great stuff, very to the point one question thou do cold steel pickaxe can get frozen ore even obsidian type even if there are no volcanic regions in Styx map? thanks good video

Yes Titanium has the best yield, but if you use the miasma tools, you will see its more efficient in farming more resources! I was trying to explain that each tool has its own unique perks. Miasma pickaxes drop noxious crust which is x5 of that ore. A stack of 50 Noxious Crust(any ore) is actually 250 when you cleanse noxious crust in the organic residue cleaner.

Miasma Pickaxe is OP "only if you use the organic residue cleaner" tho ( you probably need 1-2 extra smelters then). for exploration i would use Obsidian < Coldsteel Pickaxe(cuz you can get everythingout of it)
