They probably aren't bad if you literally go over everything. I paid for a service from a dealer I don't feel I got. He checked nothing.

I thought the same thing, the drag link only connects to the one side, then the tie rod goes to the other side. If I'm picturing it correctly anyway

Whatever you say man, but it was brand new from a dealership when all that stuff fell off. From the factory and dealership there was no grease. 90% of those issues were in the first 10 rides. One winter in my barn and it was rusting. I expect some of the stuff as a Chinese toy

I have a 2017 model, almost identical mine is green. I have found nuts and bolts here and there early on but I learned to go through it “with a fine toothed comb” and tighten EVERYTHING. Mine has never seen rain or dirt and is only ridden at night and kept in my garage. For that I would say I take better care of mine BUT he obviously has more fun with his. My friends have them and they’ve done pipe and carb upgrades. I would recommend them to anyone but just like he said, go through them bcz China doesn’t have a QC program.

no Charles, it's china junk quality. you should not have to go through and tighten everything and stuff shouldn't rust that easily. it's the same story with the cheap chinese mopeds and dirt bikes. its priced too high to just call it a toy. it will continue rot away quickly . the Japanese products or even reputable asian brands like sym and kymco are night and day built better and last 15+ years and can handle being stored outside. it's just too bad one of the nicer companies don't make a cool jeep like this.

My understanding is the warranty is worthless. The dealer I bought it from pretty much laughed at me and and said good luck with the manufacturer

You definitely have to be handy, or want to tinker. Over-all it has been a decent unit, but if they actually focused just a tad more at the factory and in engineering, they could be a quality unit for not much more money. Most of the issues come from improper assembly at the factory, and in my case the dealer level.

These are made in CHINA. They are a lot of fun but you really need to go over everything like he said. Really you should almost take it down to the frame and do everything yourself.

@@richardfowler3254 I think he wanted to know what dealer I bought from, they were a local Michigan company that doesn't sell online. If you buy online and then comb over it I think you may be ok. I paid extra to have a local dealer do that and he didn't.
