Well you can cut your hair at home, learn to change your own car oil, create your own gym at home. But people pay for the experience and convenience. Spend on what makes you happy and if it’s not making you happy then yes make it at home you def will save money.

Just bought a $300 Breville 2-3 weeks ago. I have made some amazing lattes, iced coffees, PSLs, mochas, you name it. I know that little machine will pay off, save me time, and regulate all the crappy sugars and additives… Woohoo!

I'm american but I manage a real coffee shop with a Starbucks nearby. They come in all the time asking for this and I tell them Starbucks don't know what a macchiato is. Just so you know everyone this isn't an American things it's just Starbucks with bad menu names

Caramel should always go in the bottom of the drink then it’s all bitter and you can’t even mix the caramel at the top into the drink shit is annoying when they only add it to the top
You are dumb, if you put in the bottom you will have cold milk in it and it will just stay there. Even if the milk is hot. That way you can stir the caramel in your drink. And I'm a Barista, there's is always a WHY things are done
The point is, yes, you can make this at home. But if you are just leaving work, getting to class, picking up the kids, out and about, and you want a coffee - you are not home. You just budget yourself - it's that simple.
Just make the coffee before you walk out the door instead of stopping on the way. It's literally faster to make it at home before leaving than to make the detour.

Lol. I was reading the comments. And sadly it's true. One time I was at the mall, waiting to order a 3 dollar hot chocolate. And the 2 people in front of me ordered 2 drinks from Starbucks and their total was 20 dollars. I thought to myself, "could have gone to the movies upstairs for about 2 hours (1 movie) with those 20 dollars).
Love Caramel Macchiato's. Look at the ice though. If you don't want that much ice say light ice or less ice. If you do that you get more flavor and more for your money.
When I was younger I used to love my coffee with a lot of sugar, but now the only sugar I add to it is whatever amount is found in milk or half & half. On occasion I treat myself to a flavored creamer. But I don’t go around acting all high-brow about coffee and how people choose to drink it. As long as they are not hurting others, I mind my own business.
Real coffee drinkers know the difference of their coffees. Espresso is superior in taste for me. So my only sugar would be condemned milk, a syrup flavor, or just a caramel drizzle. People who say the stuff you do, don't know coffee
@@Shalyn-ln9tuI think maybe it’s because milk and sugar increases the acidity which isn’t healthy that’s why the old style which is plain coffee is considered better but some people really can’t drink bitter coffee. I personally used to like the bitter taste but now I can’t

@@adrenaline4life233 ya, macchiato means marked in italian, so an esspresso shot thats marked woth a small amount of steamed milk on top, its a latte when the milk ratio is higher and foam is added
It’s a macchiato for a latte you put the espresso shots first so it mixes with the milk but for the macchiato’s you put expresso shots last so it doesn’t mix with the milk. basically it’s an upside down latte
