Thank you for showing us this amazing miner ! It would be great if you could you measure the amount of decibels, that the miner emits with the fans at 100%, and also with your current configuration at 60%. It could be done using a smartphone with some decibel meter app.

Did you get your IP Address fresh off the miner by hitting the IP report button? If so you might want to just do a hard reset on the miner by holding the IP report button down for about 20 seconds or so. Then try again. Let me know how it's going and if that worked

Why don’t you get KS2 instead of KS1? I order my KS0 and I think it’s the third batch and still waiting for delivery. I want to get a KS2 when I receive my KS0 hopefully next week.

How long did it take to get your KS1? From ordering to delivery? I know you can't predict how long it will take for me, but how long did it take for you?
My situation was totally different cuz I was one of the first preorders before anyone knew if this company was even legit.. I ordered mine the second the pre-order went live like April 15th got it whatever the date is on my KS0 arrival video posted. My time line doesn't apply to you. Just look at iceriver.io they have been very accurate with their shipping timeframes
What's the best pool you have found so far. I hope mine comes today but I'll be out of town this weekend so I am hoping to get home and get it mining before I leave.
GGM cool video, dude I would be up all night as well lol, just one question why do you use the batch processing tool when you only managing one miner? all I did with the KS0 was just go to the DHCP IP address the router assigned it.

@@GreaterGoodMining I ordered 4 KS0’s got 2 last week and 2 yesterday, I then used the discounts for 4 more KS0’s and the extra two discounts on two KS1’s, they did not allowed me to stack coupons or I would have just gotten 2 more KS0’s for free, KS1 price with discounts count not pass up.
HaHa yeah the fans default to 100%. I usually turn them down to 50% and my garage is really hot in the summer. If it is inside an air conditioned home the fans could probably be turned down to like 40% or maybe even less. It's way quieter with the fans even just at 50%

Yeah I definitely need better equipment to shoot my videos. I'm shooting with my cell phone and a crappy old GoPro4. Watch my other videos especially my Ice arrives KS1 set up video or KS0 set up video. I got over the software program extensively. Also check out my other videos I have a full build video on the power meter you see in the video
I can't really give advice like that my friend, because it depends on your personal situation etc. If it were me, I would get one if the price lowers again. But my plan is to mine and HODL

Also hopefully Fruits and Associates makes a fan delete kit for them so your house doesn't sound like a server room lol. I have it on my K7 and it's a life changer
Once I rebooted it, it does seem like the fans have quieted down a bit. Still way louder rhama GPU rig or the KS0 etc. But I'm not complaining, this thing is kickin a**. Would be awesome to have a fruits and associates on this thing!
@@GreaterGoodMining Yeah the best part about the kit is being able to pull in cool house air and exiting the hot air out a window. The cooler the air on my K7, the less watts it uses to the wall. I'm actually overclocking it right now getting 10TH more than stock with a slight under voltage. It comes out pretty awesome with large increases in total coins mined.

It's currently profitable but the hashrate is going up fast. In a few months the hashrate could be at 80 or even 100ph. No one knows for sure. My plan is to HODL Long term and hope for price appreciation
I wish I knew my friend. Things are changing very fast. Personally I love the Kadpa project and see major future potential. You have to make your own decision. Don't let anyone tell you what will happen. No one knows for sure
Anywhere from about 13k to 18k depending on the day for the KS1... and 10 times less for the KS0 because it's 10x less hashrate. It's about to be less all around real soon because the hashrate is going to start going up, the the block rewards will continue to drop
Yes it's weird. I changed it to 60%.. the fans slowed down and stayed there... then I went back and forth to different screens looking at stuff... then came back to the fan control screen and it said 100%... lol but the fan was still running slower and quieter. Doesn't make sense for it to work that way lol
@@moe7246 typically 1200w is good for 110v but you get better efficiency on 240v. Once you start getting into big boy ASICs you'll notice they are all 240v
@@andrewmartino6144 no house. Even then I’d have to bring in an electrician and find out where to put 240v plugs. It’s just an unnecessary extra cost I wanted to avoid.
