I'm 57 yrs young and me and my boys are starting this whole overlanding lifestyle. So far we have a 2 week trip planned for July to Colorado! In April we are taking a 5 day trip to Tenn. to camp. Would love to have one of these fridge/freezers but right now just starting out we just can't afford it. Love the content and have been subscribed now for about 6 months. Keep up the trail rides/destinations as it keeps us hyped up! I want the APL20, but I'm sure all your subscribers want it too!
We’ve been looking for a fridge and watched your 12V Fridge Buying Guide video last month. Thanks for the review, it looks like the APL20 would be great secondary fridge for our trips. I want the APL20.
I want the APL20! I am currently running a Setpower FC15 from one of your previous recommendations (and your link), as well as other products. I’ve been very impressed with all of your recommendations!
I want the APL 20. We have the 47.5QT VL45 that we run in my wifes JLU. We have had the VL45 for 3 years and it is awsome, the APL 20 would be perfect for my gladiator.
I want the APL 20! I'm a subscriber and like all of your videos. Keep producing them. FYI, I'm cheap and probably wouldn't spend that much for a small fridge. Who am I kidding I do take a couple trips a year and still have an ice chest. LOL I don't use one enough to spend the money.
Thank you for your videos. I'm just getting into Overlanding and would love to het the Iceco APL20. It's getting a little expensive gearing up for Overlanding but your videos have helped alot. Hope to ne on the trail soon. Thanks.
I want the APL20. I love watching your videos. They are very informative. I don't have a 4x4 but my pick up gets me where I want to go. I love to go camping as you see by my profile pic.
G'day Matt. Since you carry this inside the rig, what if anything do you hear from folks that carry these outside and exposed to the elements, and mainly the sun? I've been using an ARB 45qt for years and it rides in the back of the truck bed, exposed to the elements. Used the optional insulating cover and while that helped, I also installed aluminum roll insulation beneath the OEM cover. This helped reduce the power usage substantially. Did this to my rotomold type of ice chests and that cut ice melt substantially as well. The ARB is getting a bit long in the tooth so I'm looking for a replacement soon. Thxs.
I want the APL 20. Great review. Really have me thinking of adding a fridge to our pack out. Will the feet keep it from sliding in the back of a WK2 trailhawk? Thanks!
I want the APL 20. Thank you for all the great videos! My comment on the apl20 is a tad pricey for the size. It would fit well with supplementing a fridge in a trailer that is pulled allowing you to have a fridge in your vehicle while exploring away from basecamp.
I want the APL20. I don't think this is a fridge for everyone. But I don't think that ever was Iceco's intent with this unit. For the price point, build quality, and drawer system I would work very well for my needs and I would like to install it where Cara presently has hers.
I want the APL20! Would love a smaller iceco to live in my rig full time. The VL60 has been going strong for three years so I’m guessing the price is reflective of the quality.
I want the APL20, and I'd love to win the fridge, and I can deal with the spam mails they'll inevitably send, but I don't want to give my phone number (which is required for their newsletter signup as well). And wow - I'm sure the warranty is great, but at that cost, you could buy two of their competitor's fridges and use one until it died, then use the other and not hassle with warranty stuff.
Love your videos and I am new to the Jeep world, recently getting a Gladiator Rubicon. Headed to Moab this year and want the IceCo APL20 for my first trip to Moab. Keep up the good content and hope to meet you all some day!!
I want the APL20. I suspect the quality warrants the price like you said but I personally wouldn’t pay that for such a small fridge. But I have 2 kids and prefer at least a weekend long trip so it makes sense I would go for a larger fridge to buy with my own money.
I want the APL 20. The price is acceptable. As with most portable refrigerators you are going to pay a fair amount. All inexpensive can ask is that you get your money’s worth or more. This one looks promising.
I want the APL20. Truly I am all about the build quality of the things I spend my money on. So it is on the very top end of what I would perceive as reasonable. Probably not the best place to be in the market.
I want the APL20! I have been wanting a fridge for my Jeep so badly!! It's the only thing left I have to buy. I have been saving for 8 months now for a fridge so this would be perfect! I got my fingers, toes and eyes crossed for this giveaway!
I want the apl20. Having a second 12v fridge would be a great addition to a 52l that I have for longer trips. This would be nice for the shorter trips.
I want the APL20. As I am trying to pursue a career in law enforcement, I believe would be the perfect fridge to use to keep waters and food for the day nice and cold
