1:04 That's what this fucking brilliant game is all about. Also sitting in with the fans was their President. No luxury suite, no armed security. Just a citizen with his people.
I'm English and this result in hindsight is fucking brilliant. Iceland were amazing. Great to see them at the World Cup 2 years ago as well (instead of Wales and Scotland) haha they're brilliant. England are a joke though. They're never too far from their next inexplicable defeat :D
The boos from the English 'fans' Gracious as ever! I always remember the English media afterwards mentioning the loss as 'embarassing' Why? You're not a world superpower anymore and Iceland kicked your arse off the pitch.
@@geoffcliff1503 Lmao! fuck out of here, if you think this was a miracle. England are the toronto maple leafs of football. Great fan base but they're not going to win fuck all.
Amazing - the icelandic supporters stole the show for me at the Euros - pure passion - I really wanted them to win the tournament as an Englishman - would have been great had they achieved it - as for England, REALLY poor at every level - overpaid useless incompetent - just a few words to sum them up - but no taking away from Iceland, brilliant!
still love this moment. one of my closest friends was there and showed all. unfortunate shes gone but im greatful that iceland exist. respects and good luck in future from sweden
Nationally we have never been a powerhouse at football, one lucky World Cup, we are just a above average National side. Premier League is full of overseas players. Germany was, Spain was, France even for a while, Brasil , Argentina, but England a Powerhouse?, as a England supporter nah.
Who said we were? Only the deluded people who pile overseas to get pissed, fight with locals and watch us lose. Majority of us know we're average. We've got one of the best league systems in the world, seriously cant beat the EFL. But the Prem is full of foreign talent, which tricks some into thinking our national side has a right to win stuff. It doesn't. We're rubbish really
Don’t give that bollocks! England have Premier League winners in their team, Iceland have an Swansea reject and a load of pub landlords! Fans pay thousands to go watch their team who should be aiming for semis! Iceland. Don’t give that bullshit.
England are awesome in qualifying and then bottle it in the finals . Theyve had their fair share of managers and the same thing occurs , but one thing they all have in common is that each manager could never settle on what could be regarded as their best team . Its always the case that they take players to major championships who either have little or no international experience, have just returned from injury or are selected because theyve hit form prior to the tournament . In that respect theres no consistency and the players dont get used to playing together .
