True story: Gin was flexing all over Ichigo in this fight. He turned on his Bankai and never left it once, and he could have easily killed Ichigo at any time, Hollowfication or no. What a fucking boss.

Now that I think about it, GIn could of inserted a piece of that sword into Ichigo and killed him easily. Wow!!

@@chankabizarrenetworkdeluxe1984 Very fast extension and contracting speed, like, in a blink of an eye shown here. It's the fastest zanpakuto. But the dangerous ability and most useful his bankai has deadly poison that he can leave on an enemy that's 100% fatal unless of course you are Aizen with hogyoku. Gin would've been very useful in the TYBW with his bankai because they probably wouldn't know he was in bankai (because his bankai doesn't change his sword's appearance) and he can theoretically snipe quincies easily with how fast his zankaputo is and kill them with the poison.

Gin was so great. Didn't need to Hollowify, knew Aizen's weakness, survived against the protagonist. I think in the manga he was was described as "tensai" (genius)

Gin was on absolutelly another level compared to other captains than Aizen - as he was only one to deal real damage to Aizen and on top of that on Aizen who evolved a lot already not base. Shit like Hado 91 from Urahara didnt leave even scratch on Aizen just to give you perspective (yes I know he implanted seal but still for damage it did nothing). Frankly if not for uber HAX powers of Hogyoku Gin would defeat Aizen there - sure with trick , but Aizen should be last to complain about betrayal right ? Heck I will even double down on that - Gin Bankai did more damage to Aizen than Mugetsu from Final Getsuga Tensho (he was slashed but ripped apart with gigantic hole like after Gin Bankai). And funny part given fight with Ichigo all Gin need is to pierce someone once and its GG , so for example if Kenpachi would just let him pierce (because why not Kenpachi loves tanking attacks right ?) - he instantly defeated. It wouldnt be same like with lame Tousen or Komomura bankais. I have feeling it was supposed to be Soi Fon bankai at start but Kubo decided to fk up Soi Fon and give her joke bankai that wouldnt even do anything to Aizen without Hogyoku let alone at such stage.
