I was first introduced to Ayu's Quallys Nusantara through iChang and Jimmy. Like you guys, Ayu invited them to a private dinner and if I remember correctly, she also cooked for them satay, beef brisket, etc. So when this was recommended to me, I clicked the Like button before watching the video (which is needless to say, very well done!) coz I knew it would be a treat (see what I did there 😉). iChang and Jimmy have ranked her food in 1st place in their top 3, I can't wait to see what yours is going to be.

@@PureDetour There are 2 types of starfruit, sweet and sour. Sweet used to be eaten and sour used to be for cleaning fish to eradicate their smell.

Do you think she deserved / worthy of a michellin star? Eating with fingers bring the taste to a whole new level, doesn't it?
@PureDetour
@PureDetour Год назад
I am by no means an expert on food and what is and what isn't deserving of a Michelin star. What I do know is that I consider myself to be well traveled and Kak Ayu's cooking is in the top 4 of the tastiest things I have eaten in my entire life. If you ask me they should give her all of the Michelin stars. As to eating with the hands, I am a little familiar with it having been to India, but I am very self conscious and feel like a fool doing it in front others that are so used to doing it. I make more of a mess than anything. lol
