Even in numetal The late Wayne from static x was so nice I met him in 2010 nicest guy around and Corey Taylor was pretty funny I met him at ozzfest. Nicest people

Heartbreaking. I think he’s doing well these days. I think they are a lot closer than they used to be. Deep down they deeply respected each other’s musical output. @@henrywalton5967 Heard 3 live songs out of curiosity. No. No complexity while he is singing. Also not actually singing like Mustaine does (or at least tries to). Mustaine sings on top of complex time signatures without his voice just following/flowing with the guitar but keeping its own time signature or pace. Its very very hard to make your brain work with 2 different time signatures at the same time especially when you add technical complexity to the mix. Not impossible of course, there are street musicians who can play 3 instruments at the same time. But it is very rare. DiSanto plays basic fast riffs (actually easier to sing along) and follows the guitar pace with his voice. I’m glad Mustaine chose not to talk bad about his former band mates rather than address their conflicts. Those topics have already been broadly answered by Mustaine, and those involved, in other interviews. The series is focused primarily on allowing these guitar players to talk about their life and careers in the context of now, not a full scope biography. All those involved in Megadeth played a part in making the band what it is today.

Dave and Bruce Dickinson man. Both beating oral/throat type cancers at an older age, and then both still proceeding to make, not the best albums of their careers, but albums with some absolute banger songs that harken back to their heyday and would've fit in just fine on some of their greatest records is monumental. And then both still touring and putting on killer shows.

What a tremendous interview with a living legend IMO. Loved all the cool footage as well. Thx so much Dave for the great music you have provided, and continue to provide for us. One of the all time great guitar players of metal/thrash, etc…So cool to have him explain how he has matured as person/human being etc… being 57 I can tell you for sure I am not the same person I was in my teens, 20s, 30s, etc..hope his health continues to be good..

The guy had a troubled and f*cked up childhood, later he found his passion to overcome it; later he found the band to push his talent forward then they kicked him out, he formed a better band. Later he lost his ability to play for his injury in his hand, he came back with great music; he had cancer, he kicked it out and for what I've seen on YT he's sounding great. What am I trying to say? You can say a lot of things about Mustaine about his personality, but no one can deny he's a true fighter. Someone that never gives up and always come back stronger. Most people would have given up. He's truly an inspiration. Thank you for this Gibson, and thank you Dave for so many years of joy. We are waiting for you here in your second home 🇦🇷 Aguante Megadeth!

I love Metallica. But they don't stand a chance against Megadeth. And I'm not even trying to create a feud here. We can enjoy both bands. But besides James voice, megadeth wins in every other way.

@@luchboxer Yeah both bands are great, but if you listen closely, Megadeth is better in almost every aspect, except for vocals. Better musicians, far more technique, speed, better lyrics, more great albums and more influences, like jazz fusion (early works) etc.

Dave, after all these years, is still my hero because he presents as a man, with his frailty, his flaws, but with a relentless drive to go forward, like pulled by an invisible force. He is a mere man and a legend as well. Long live Dave Mustaine.

Nobody has meant more to me musically than Dave Mustaine. His music saw me through a tough adolescence, inspired me to pick up the guitar and write songs. This was epic. Thank you Gibson!
