I think anybody who's been in Japan for a long time and who dated Japanese women will realise that money is basically 90% of what women here care about. It sucks but it is what it is. A lot of Japanese women want to be stay at home (read: they can go and do whatever they want during daytime) wives while hubby brings the cash in. I've heard so many stories of women immediately quitting their jobs and never working again once they got children, too.

Not sure myself but Cathy said it one way right after “kami no nagai”…but typically people would say 長髪 (ちょうはつ/chōhatsu) to mean long hair. Maybe since it’s something she’s fond of she picked up the English phrase and chose to use that with Cathy 🤷‍♂️

Japanese people nowadays use many japanized english expressions. Even though they have a word for it in Japanese. There’s no particular reason but I suppose in Japan it makes them look cooler in a way ?

I have touched plenty of muscles and they don't seem to be amazing at all. Most girls, especially Asian girls don't care. As long as you're in shape, it's fine.

Women are expected to give a chance and settle for "good guys" and called superficial if they want a man they find attractive or financially stable. Meanwhile, a man can say he only dates skinny brunettes who use makeup and dress sexy and cooks, cleans and cares for the baby and no one will say a thing. Having standards for women is "being picky" meanwhile for men is just them "having a preference".
